"This restaurant is situated inside the first floor of the Hilton hotel, next to the lounge area, so it has a fancy atmosphere but outsiders who are not booked with the hotel can come in and eat even though it's inside. This place comes with a bar that has TVs so if you feel like winding down with some sports and a drink, you can. They serve a good but not too overwhelming selection of dishes at prices comparable to other sit down restaurants despite the fancy atmosphere. The indoor seating is in the smaller end but you can also be seated outside, where you get a view of the water! The appetizers and the pastas we ordered were really good (I ordered the Crema de Fungi, for all the mushroom and truffle lovers out there). We had a calamari dish for our appetizer that is partially eaten in our pictures. I could have eaten a bowl full of it. It was delicious! Beyond pastas, there's also pizzas and you can make your own pizza if you'd like. There are probably other items in the menu I'm failing to mention, but those are the big ones.Highly recommend this place! The staff is accommodating, the atmosphere is nice, and eating inside a hotel just feels a touch fancy. ;)"
"I've passed this hole in the wall for a while now and have been trying to figure out how pizza/gyros/burgers/pho all fit together and now I know they kind of belong in the same spot. We stopped by in a Sunday before the lunch rush and were the first ones here. After looking at the eclectic variety we ordered Streak & brisket Pho, Garlic cheese bread, lamb gyro, deluxe fries and 6 boneless wings with hot sauce. You know, to get a feel for the variety of options. The Pho was ok, the broth not as flavorful as I had hoped for or found elsewhere on the peninsula but passable for sure. Noodles and meat were good but I can see how some people might be put off by the fatty portions if you don't know that's where some flavor might be.The Garlic bread with cheese was amazing and we took the leftovers home to reheat for later.Husband said the lamb gyro was tasty and the best part of the meal.A fair warning, the deluxe fries were essentially a delicious but dangerous plate of slathered fries, order at your own risk!Service wasn't fastest but very friendly"

"We came here while visiting OBX and only picked it because we had a coupon and it's next to the brewery. The pizza was good but not outstanding, they left a lot of crust on the edges. The biggest pizza is quite large though, it fed 8 of us and we still had two pieces leftover. The default slices are pretty large, but they will cut them smaller if you ask. They don't serve anything else, but they do have a cooler of drinks that you can purchase from."
"Verrry elegant place definitely a date night smasher menu very short but everything that came out that kitchen 5/5 they water even tasted amazing lol calamari cooked with the chilis top tier and that lasagna!!!! You might smack ya grandma if she touch it if u been trynna impress ya mate this is definitely the spot will b doubling back on my 757 tour"
"Food is ALWAYS FRESH!!!! Hands down the best chicken parm I've ever had, super flavorful and the sauce homemade!!!"
"This is definitely a hidden gem in Williamsburg. We ventured here looking for a good oven fire pizza and the chef/owner was the only one there. He took our order and cooked the pizza for us. The pizza was delicious! Although it's hard to go wrong with an oven fire pizza. Definitely recommend!"
"SLICE & PEPSI REVIEWLocated between the two Design & Consign stores on Warwick Boulevard, Newport News, VA, Anna's Pizza pizzeria was in the perfect spot to deal with my hunger pangs after the walkabout in the antique and estate sale emporiums. You could call it the "luck of the draw," but Anna's was owned/operated by a Brooklyn, NY, native who had pizza making in his DNA. I asked for a regular slice of pie with added mushrooms, reheated to well done finish, and a Diet Pepsi. That is exactly what was served me by Martina, the friendly server. The crust was thin with good char on the undercarriage; fresh shrooms and a satisfying 'snap' with each bite. The tomato sauce was slightly sweet and the mozzarella counterpointedly salty, for compelling balanced flavors. This was an excellent reheater. As we cashed out, I complimented the dude at the register, telling him I was from Washington Heights, Manhattan, and his tomato pie tasted like real Big Apple pizza. He smiled proudly, and said, "I'm from Brooklyn..." 'Nuff said! I just shook his hand. "Thank you, brother!""
"My new favorite spot!! Not only is it a market....it's a restaurant too! The meals are absolutely delicious and taste so fresh. Big plus that the prices are reasonable! When I walked in, I felt like I was immediately transported to Italy. The atmosphere is welcoming, relaxed, and lovely. And the staff is very friendly.Don't skip the salads! They are mouthwatering. Everything that was ordered during my 2 visits: caprese salad, four cheese ravioli, gnocchi with pesto, chocolate profiteroles, pistachio cake, and 2 specials which i forgot the name. Don't miss out on the specials. They are so good!!It's a small space so best for small groups of around 4. Excited to bring more of my family and friends here!"
"Good food, fast. Friendly staff. Owner runs a tight ship. Food is always pretty good, although not fancy."
"***update to my previous review. Be aware they double fry their fries! I asked for new fries that were not doubled cooked. They basically refused the waitress. Poor girl had to come out and tell me they just look like that. I'm sorry but this is the sign of a lazy cook."
"I have now been here twice and honestly I didn't know what to expect. The first time I went on a girls outing and sat on the bar side our waitress Nicole. Nikki. I honestly can't remember her name. But she was great! A lil talkative but over all great! We had drinks. Appetizers and food. We started off with a Baltimore zoo and a hula hoop. The Baltimore zoo wasn't what I was expecting. I've had some before back in the days and this wasn't what I thought I was going to get lol, but it was actually still good. My friend she had the Hulu hoop and I'm assuming she had it before. We Ordered fried mushrooms and fried calamari. The fried calamari wasn't too hard, not overly seasoned and came with what seem like a homemade marinara dipping sauce. I ordered manicotti. It was huge hot and to die for! It came with a side salad with homemade croutons and a bread roll with the world's most amazing garlic butter to dip in!! My second trip me and my husband decided to go. He ordered Jambolti and I had a cheesesteak. The little one had chicken fingers which were huge side salad fried calamari again because it was good the first time and this time fried zucchini. The food was amazing the second time I honestly have nothing bad to say the atmosphere is great. The waitresses are great the food is great. The prices are even great. The menu is huge so there's something for everybody and if you can't find something then something must be wrong! lol"
"Literally the worst pizza I have ever had. Ever. If you watched The Office (US) and remember Kevin Malone saying "It's like a hot circle of garbage," he was almost definitely talking about this pizza.I ordered through Eat24, and I hoped the order would be better than the other two reviews that are existing on the Yelp website said. I really wanted delivery, and I really wanted something halfway decent, at least Chanello's quality. This wasn't it. I am pretty sure im going to get food poisoning. My order came less than 5 minutes ago, but the woman delivering called twice through the app and both times it started off with something about not giving anyone my credit card number through the Yelp Eat24 app - when I finally got through to an actual person after the automated system called me, she couldn't figure out where my house was, and I had to go stand outside to meet her. She was older and friendly enough but kept assuring me that she did not call me through any app and had no idea what I was talking about even though the app direct dial phone call from her twice came straight to me with both the app talking to me and then her voice. I recognize that older people frequently don't understand how technology works, so that part was fine... But I paid $20 for a pizza, and it is supposed to be a large, and it is Tiny and kind of terrible. The chicken tastes rotten. Like... I would feed this to homeless people, maybe, if they were desperate, but next time I will absolutely order Chanello's or Domino's or Pizza Hut and that's saying something.And... after the tip it was about 23 bucks, and she wasn't even troubled to thank me for the tip even though I had to go find her on my street after she called me twice. Downtown delivery that is ALWAYS quality: Gyro Palace. And they can find you AND thank you for the tip.EDIT: I called back and asked to return the pizza, and they agreed, WITHOUT APOLOGY and WITHOUT ANY SURPRISE. The phone number on the Yelp app is inaccurate, the correct phone number that you need to call to get any sort of service or return on your investment in their food is 757-229-1388. They didn't apologize, and they didn't sound surprised."

Very nice! It's been about three times now since my husband and I have dined here. I wanted to give this place a try ever since I saw the sign from Main Street advertising this place is opening soon. I think I even stalked the IG page. Nevertheless, three dining experiences later, I love it here!My husband and I have dined at the bar top twice and one in the booth dining area. Needless to say, we are fans for the bar seating. Now, not the two baby bar seats, but the high top seating! The decor is gorgeous. Super inviting and welcoming :)The waitstaff there is amazing and attentive. I must mention our last dining experience was a bit lack luster, but the waitress made it better by the time we left the restaurant. I must say we are fans of the change Hilton has made to their onsite restaurant. It was also great to see some familiar faces remain even though this new restaurant is here.I am not sure if this pizza is considered Neapolitan style, wood fired, but I will get this pizza every time. And the way my stomach is set up, I eat a little at the bar and take some home for later. As a result, order a large. It's sooo yummy! My husband has tried the salads and spaghetti - pleased.I believe we shared a chicken sandwich from the appetizer menu, just to try it out, that was yummy too! Great atmosphere!Plenty of parking... Saturdays and game nights this place is busy, but they usually are good about getting people seated. We have never experienced a wait. But if you love pizza, try it out.In my mind, this is a healthier pizza :)Have fun and enjoy life :)

I'm brand new to the area and needed a place that delivered. I found them on the GrubHub app. I've ordered from them four times already. The fried shrimp dinner is awesome. The coleslaw isn't great. I love the homemade lime soda. I always ask for extra limes. They don't have lemons. The chicken scampi is delicious. I've also had the chicken francese is great. Onion rings are good too. I will continue to order from them. Not a bad meal yet!

We recently dined here and found the pizza to be decent, though not exceptional. The size was quite large, to the point that it required two paper plates to manage, which felt a bit impractical.

Leone's Italian is a gem! The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy dinner or a night out with friends. The star of the show? Their espresso martini--smooth, perfectly balanced, and just the right amount of indulgent. It's rich, velvety, and has that ideal kick of espresso flavor without being too sweet.I also have to shout out their linguine with clams--absolute perfection. The pasta is cooked just right, the clams are fresh, and the garlic white wine sauce ties everything together beautifully. Simple, classic, and done so well.Between the incredible drinks, delicious food, 10/10 service, and welcoming atmosphere, Leone's is definitely a spot I'll be coming back to!

I have been wanting to try FTH Pizza for a couple of years. After enjoying it today, I wish had stopped by earlier. It was very good--maybe the best pizza I've tried in Williamsburg. Using a wood fire oven, FTH Pizza's pies convey that fired taste. I purchased the Margarita Pizza, and I really enjoyed the sauce. It contains the right amount of sweetness. This pizza also was not very cheesy, which is perfect for me!One of my favorite parts of a pizza is the air bubbles. It's crazy. I can't get enough of them! While my pizza had sufficient bubbles to delight, a couple were burnt from the fire. If you like bubbles like I do, ask for them to watch heat on the bubbles. For $12, I received a delicious pizza that added sunshine to a cloudy day!I have heard that they may sell out of their pizza dough before their posted closing hours, so I recommend going early.

Anna's is one of my favorite local pizza shops. The pizza is always good and cheesy. The service is fairly good and we never wait long for our pizza to be made. I've always gotten taken but when I have arrived to pick up my order the place looks clean. I've never been disappointed from a slice of pizza from them. The crust is always light and fluffy! Anna's pizza is a true 5/5 pizza restaurant.

What a hidden gem. My friend and I met up for lunch and we were craving some Italian. Marchese had been recommended a few times before, but noticed it closed early, hence the visit during lunch. Marchese is a restaurant, deli, and market. There are bottles of wine at the front of the store, specialty gourmet food products in the back, and a order/takeout service counter and a showcase of all of their meats, cheeses, and desserts in the middle with seating throughout. If you're dining, you order at the table and the will bring your food to the table.- Parking - Center lot.- Noms - Bruschette - pieces of lightly toasted baguette slices, loaded with tomatoes and basil. Loved the freshness to this dish. Caprese salad - generous portion with slices of tomatoes and fresh mozzarella, drizzled with balsamic served with slices of baguette. I LOVE caprese salad and I thoroughly enjoyed Marchese's! Abruzzo panini - YUM! This was tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and prosciutto. I was going for the tomato and mozz theme. This was stuffed with tomatoes and mozz and the saltiness of the prosciutto went so well together. The panini was nicely toasted and provided that nice crunch when you bite into it.Chocolate profiteroles - these were only one of two dessert items that were made in house, but lemme tell ya, those things were SO GOOD! Mini-cannoli - Since we had ordered chocolate profiteroles, I still wanted to try the cannolis, so we ordered a mini one. Nice crunch to the shell and the filling was nice and smooth.Great first visit and looking forward to my next visit.Note to self: try their pastas and soups!

"We went on an evening when they appeared to be unusually busy, but we still received great service, and the food was great, too. They have a good variety of food, something to please everyone. My husband had the delicious Roma Steak Special (found under Subs and wraps), and I had a Stromboli. We also had an appetizer of fried zucchini that was amazing. The zucchini was crisp and not soggy. We were stuffed at the end of our meal, and then we found the Gelati Celesti case up front. Since we just moved to Aylett from Mechanicsville, it's a comfort to know we can go for a scoop of one of our favorite local treats without needing to drive "in town. ""
"I'm visiting family from NYC, and they took me out to Chesapeake Pizza. If you have a nostalgia for the 80s Pizza Huts, this is the closest thing around, but there are no juke boxes or Arcade games. Pizza is fresh and delicious. Also, we arrived on a Friday night and the place was packed. The waiting list moved fairly well and the staff who work here are very friendly, helpful and professional. The only reason I'm not 5 starting them is because they only take cash."
"It's been several years since I wrote a review, but we have never stopped going here. There is NOTHING I love more than a locally owned place that makes everything fresh. And Regino's never disappoints. We supported them all through the pandemic shut down ordering takeout (which we had never done before from this restaurant), and they were on point the entire time. No loss of quality or service. That was highly appreciated! Since things have opened up we've eaten in several times to our delight, but tonight decided to order takeout again (didn't feel like going out). Once again Regino's delivered the awesomeness. We started with a tomato and mozzarella salad. They make their own Moz - need I say more? As always, full of flavor. It does come on a bed of romaine with black olives and peppers, none of which is needed. I did throw a little more balsamic on it at home, but nevertheless wonderful.I got the lasagna - OH my! Fresh made pasta, homemade sauce, sausage (that I am pretty positive they make in house) and that lovely tomato sauce. It was such a big portion (like all of their entrees are), that I am having the rest for lunch tomorrow.Hubby was in the mood for pizza, so we got a medium with extra cheese. As always yummy. This is not a textbook NY style, but that's ok. The crust is always amazing, cooked to perfection and the sauce is SO good!If you are in the area - GO here! You will not be disappointed with the food or the portions (come hungry). Support local."
"Once you really start to relax and eat the dishes , one starts to appreciate the quality of the food despite the seeming simplicity. After recreating a few dishes at home , I have a new appreciation of the quality ingredients and mastering of the recipes on the menu. They stay with what they know and do it well. Leave a message for reservations on the phone and they will text you back."
"Bennys has always been a favorite of the family we love the one in Norfolk so we stoped for this one in great bridge. It was ok hopefully after some time they will have a hang of things. With it still being new to the area so many customers coming inside were confused about the menu and the drinks. The workers didn't really help explain it to them. You can order pizza by the slice they are huge! We struggled with these cheese tastes however it didn't taste right. But overall Cooked at a great temperature. And they don't have fountain drinks you can pick from the fridge of sodas and such. The restaurant was clean. Food had a good cook time. Easy area to park at."
"$6 for a GIANT slice, made to order and ready to go in 3mins. If you're looking for a good and quick slice of pizza, you really can't beat that. Plus, the restaurant was cute and the staff was really nice."
"We stopped in at Vinny's to give it a try for lunch on Friday. From the website, it looks like Vinny's has 13+ locations in Virginia and North Carolina. It looks like maybe it's a franchise, but I'm not sure. Definitely not a Mom and Pop 'local' place. It's pretty easy to find, it's in a brand new stand-alone building, and seemed to have plenty of parking. The staff was welcoming and we were seated almost immediately, though the place was busy and close to full. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Our orders were gathered and our drinks were refilled pretty quickly. We started with the handmade mozzarella sticks. They were very crispy on the outside and melty on the inside and we mostly liked the taste. It felt like the cheese sticks could have used a light sprinkle of salt before being breaded (or maybe added into the breading itself.. not sure which would taste better), but we got around it by sprinkling a little salt on our plate and mushing the gooey cheese into the salt before dipping into marinara and/or ranch. My friend ordered the lunch baked spaghetti. The spaghetti was sizeable, even for a lunch portion, and the sauce had a unique flavor to me, almost like a BBQ or Manwich flavor, with lots of meat, and a side order of garlic toast. I was surprised that we weren't asked if we wanted meat sauce or marinara sauce and that it didn't come with a salad. Take note if you're like me and like spaghetti with only marinara. Also, we would have liked a bit more butter on the toast, but it was crisp and yummy. I ordered the chicken parm sub, which came with chips, but we upgraded to onion rings for $2. The rings were crispy and flavorful, but the onions were cut thin, so they cooked down a lot leaving a lot of batter and a little onion. If these are hand made, it might be nice to experiment with wider, thicker cut onions. The chicken parm sub came on a large, toasty roll that did a great job containing the chicken, sauce, and cheese. I would have liked a half size sub as a lunch portion, as they never reheat well. If you order it for lunch, maybe move all the chicken to one half of the roll. The chicken appeared to be pounded thin and fried. It had an okay flavor, but a little dry... not the best, not the worst.IMHO, if you're in the area, there are a lot of Italian options, but if you give it a try, let us know what you think! We will probably go at least one more time to try the pizza. Looking forward to reading your review."
"We were "taste-teased" over the last few years with your mobile kitchen and special menu offers. But to finally have you just across the street from work AND not having to fight the summer lines was WELL WORTH THE WAIT!! Edible.Picasso is beautiful aromatic food that is pleasing to the pallet. It is obvious that Lenore and Rocco definitely know what they're doing and they love what they do."
"Another standout in the Norfolk area. This locally owned Italian restaurant has two employees. The owner chef's up authentic cuisine in view of the patrons as his partner manages the front of the house. Everything is housemade. Standouts include the Garlic Shrimp, Bolognese, and Lamb Chops. 4.4 stars"
"The pizza is humongous and delicious. They were running a special bruschetta pizza and it was fantastic."
"Pizza was amazing, the only thing is that they don't have a fountain drinks so you pretty much just have whatever they have. Pizza was really good though, would recommend and will definitely be coming back. It was also clean so that's always great"
"Starting to become a family favorite! Food is amazing. Service is great, and it's always such a friendly atmosphere and ambiance and kid friendly. Was our 2 or 3 time and we are starting to always hit it up every time we are here. From the rich history of the Wright Brothers to serving the kids food on frisbee! this place is a MUST! (I would give it 10 stars but I'll settle for 5) the food is worth it!"
"The food was amazing. This is the best cheeseburger I've had in a long time! The service was wonderful however it was a bit chilly inside the restaurant today. If you're looking for great food, this is the place to come very family oriented, homestyle atmosphere."
"We went there last evening, intending on eating dinner, had salad, and garlic knots, (like little cinnamon rolls) the red sauce that comes with the knots was tasty. We decided to get wings. The wings were HUGE. And they filled us up. We ended up not ordering meals. I know they just opened, and seem to not have a full staff, but we didn't wait for assistance. The assistance went it was quick and pleasant. Being local, it was nice to get to the oceanfront. Being down at 34th kept us out of the "action" but after eating, a nice walk to neptune's statue was just right.Edit, just read other review. I'm sorry, who brings a dog to a restaurant and expects the dog too be allowed WITHOUT checking. The outside seating is NOT set up for that...check an app called "bring fido""
"This is our go to pizza and sub shop in Glenn's. The pizza is good but my favorite are the subs. Steak and Cheese or Italian sub. The bread is great and the subs are loaded and delicious. We love to get subs at Anna's. It used to be a tasty freeze, so it doesn't look like much but it is oh so good!"
"Nice little place for pizza.. Their shrimp scampi is great!! It reminds me of the mom and pop places I went to when I grew up"
"One word can describe my dinner at Yiannis tonight, DELICIOUS! I order the calamari and they came out steaming hot , so yummy! The sauce to dip the calamari had big chunks of tomato! For my main I got the gyro with salad. I ate every single bite! The tzatziki sauce was plentiful, the meat perfect. Okay, the onion rings had this delicious batter that it was cooked in, such a treat. I couldn't help myself, ended my meal with a sweet sweet cannoli. This place is Family owned, owner is amazing and friendly! The place is organized and clean. Spacious and there are a few TVs which I saw people enjoy. Greek music is poppin! The food and staff at Yiannis are the best!"
"Open on Monday and Tuesday! My family loves Pizza Stop and were devastated to find out that they were closed on Tuesday until they bit into Cosmos's New York style pizza! Thin and well seasoned with a chewy crust. We highly recommend the Margherita. Tip: If you order the pickles to-go, remove the ranch from the box. It may spill."
"Love this hole-in-the-wall place! Seriously, my kind of joint! I work at Fort Eustis, right out the back gate is Taco Bell. I generally brown bag it, but found myself running off post for something quick during lunch. It just so happens this place is in the same little strip mall location as Taco Bell, so as soon as I saw it, the light bulb came on. Let's keep it local, I said to myself. And I'm so glad I did. Very unassuming! The interior decor has an old sandwich shop feel to it. Nothing says "Italian" whatsoever based on appearance, other than the menu. However, that menu? Vast! Extremely vast!I asked the guy behind the counter what's good, and he replied with the typical ambiguous response of, "everything." He then did throw out a couple suggestions that most grab for lunch like their Alfredo, subs, or pizza by the slice.I opted for the chicken Alfredo. It was great! Decent size portion, huge side of garlic bread, and at a reasonable price. I'll be coming back frequently, I assure you. And if you've never? You should. Cheers!"
"Walking into Anna's pleasantly surprised me with its lovely decor. There are three to four rooms for dining, each with a warm and pretty decor. We went to Anna's to try their pizza, and we ordered a vegetable pizza and a margherita pizza topped with chicken, as well as sodas and a red sangria. The large (grande) size pie measures 26". These were two completely different pies. The vegetable pizza had a thicker crust than the very thin crust of the margherita. The sauce was ok and more abundant on the vegetable pizza. The toppings were fresh, though next time I'll ask for more mushrooms on the vegetable pizza and more basil on the margherita one. The chicken topping was a little too crisped for us. The drinks were a good size, and the sangria was sugary. Service was friendly and excellent. We've heard they have good pasta dishes, but didn't get to try those this time. Parking is free."
"Whew. I'm not sure what all the rave is about. But all their greatness must have been hiding in a really good spot because I sought and definitely couldn't find it. The place itself is really shabby, small & hot inside. The slices of pizza are definitely mammoth size. The taste unremarkable. Canned & bottled drinks are available for purchase in the fridge. Honestly, everything was looking like it's been through some hard times. While I'm thankful they had a restroom, it was questionable. If you have ever been to hardcore/punk shows you know they aren't held in the best shape venues, (like King's Head back in the day) their restroom was almost at that level. The redeeming factor was the presence of paper towels, soap & running water. It was so hot & stifling inside that we sat at the high table outside where it was more comfortable. That too could use some TLC. The pizza itself is not that great, it wasn't memorable. The young lady working was pleasant. I'm not even sure how she tolerated working in that heat."
"Great atmosphere, comforable seating inside and out, and cool pictures of the original store along the walls. Very friendly. Enjoyed a generous cup of Richlands coffee oreo ice cream and purchased a delicious slice of chocolate cake roll for later. Great wine selection, fresh watermelon slices and enticing deli foods (crab cakes, sandwiches...). Glad the old store was remodeled and definitely worth a visit. Plus great historic building around the town to see as you walk off the ice cream."
