"My man and I ordered the chicken salad sandwich (I had it cold with PJ cheese, Cajun mayo ((WAS DELICIOUS!!)) spinach on ciabatta) and the Gouda sandwich (he had bacon, Cajun mayo, chicken). I also had the frozen Hawaiian mocha coffee with almond milk. It was delicious! It was also busy so we ordered online vs waiting in line to order, took about 30 minutes (which was fine as we went shopping and came back) the outside patio looked so nice! Definitely want to go back with my puppy and sit and enjoy! They send a text when your food is waiting. We enjoyed it! It was a nice (breakfast, brunch, lunch) spot and they close @14 For it being busier than usual today it was pretty fast!"
"The food was tasty...The organization of getting the food to each person was a sloppy mess. We waited over an hour to receive a pizza pie and a sub; based on the orders being called as each item was ready instead of calling orders when full orders were ready. If Gordon Ramsay was eating there he would have shut it down. Again food tastes, great. But, with the ridiculous wait time we ended up taking the second part of our order to go as a one hour wait for a basic sub was truly unacceptable. If we ever go back we would order al carte to make sure we were not forgotten. And on top of it the manager was chatting with a friend at a table having probably no idea what was going on in the kitchen."
"Bergey's Breadbasket is a must visit if you are in the area. They make the ice cream themselves, and the flavors are seasonal. We all had an ice cream and it was delicious, creamy, not insanely sweet. They also had some unique flavors. I missed the key lime pie but picked up peanut brittle and other locally made goodies. My husband loved the turkey club sandwich. The outdoor seating area is super cute. They also have goats you can feed which my kiddos loved. We didn't get a chance to visit the petting zoo due to time but we will next time."
"Boychik's deli is an awesome little deli. They have a surprisingly large menu. I've had breakfast and lunch dishes and can't say I have ever been disappointed. The food is always fresh and delicious. It's an older deli with some local business advertisements on the walls. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. They work hard because the place is usually full all day. Today's trip I had the Rueben sandwich and when I tell you it was good, one of the best I've had. The bread was soft and added that nice flavor with the 1000 island dressing with the kraut. I've taken friends who absolutely love this place. They wish they had a Boychik's where they live. Every time they come this way we end up there having a meal. Boychik's is not a commercial chain nor is it advertised well. The beauty of that is that it is a locals place where those of us that live in the area frequent. So if you're reading this from out of town, trust me and just go get a great meal."
"Excellent service, location is a takeout only and food was great. We had a Sicilian meat lovers, regular crust pepperoni and Italian sub. Sub was great with well toasted bread and excellent ingredients. Sicilian was thick yet airy and crispy. I'd definitely go again."
"Great food and a casual atmosphere. Love the Pizza, Greek salad and New Yorker deli sandwich"
"We came for the Brunch - NOT!Don't claim you serve brunch if you don't even have tea or a cup of hot water. They only have luke warm caffeinated coffee. This is a drunk's sports bar that serves (choke)food. Hence, the reason for caffeinated-only coffee. The micro brunch menu doesn't even appear on their website - (now I know why) Since the Brunch offering was so horrific we decided to drop back ten yards & puntHow can you go wrong with Burgers, they were terrible! We were offered pink and they were more crucified than a McDonalds single. Grease was the burger's only flavor. The French fries were shoveled out anemic, limp & cold. The waitress was friendly & commiserative when she heard our meal displeasure. Even if she told management our dismay - not a Nickle was removed from the bill. Yah know in a town full of restaurants starving for good help this young woman should change jobs."
"If you are reading this because you are trying to decide if you should visit this small, but mighty, cafe.....then the answer is a resounding YES!!!! Absolutely! Go now! And as soon as you walk in the door, ask for a loaf of French bread to go and a croissant doughnut to munch on while you're standing in the store paying for it. Soooo delicious!!!! I cannot believe I have lived in Hampton Roads for all these years and never stopped in. I've been totally missing out!!"
"Hands down, the best oyster Rockefeller's I've had TO DATE. I cannot speak on behalf of the other dishes, but these were cleaned perfectly. I ordered two platters and I was pleasantly surprised. We waited for a bit to get acknowledged but afterwards our server, Michelle was prompt and professional. I appreciated the covered patio with the fan but I'm lovin the heat out here. I am extremely pleased with the food here and look to return sooner rather than later"
"So, so good. Super fresh meat, bread is soft and service is friendly and fast. I had the cold turkey sandwich and husband had egg salad, both were fabulous. The menu is full of options, both hot and cold. Plenty of seating if you want to stay and eat. We will be back!!"
"WoooOoooW. Just incredible. Amazing. So glad I stopped by. Went it for the Italian Sub ended up with the Italian grinder. So good. Tiramisu delicious. They stay busy and what I assume are the owners are fantastic."
"We did a take out order! Everything was delicious! Food was ready for pick-up right on time too! We had a couple sandwiches of fresh mozzarella, tomato and pesto, Italian sub, and salad with grilled chicken. Everything was fresh, the rolls tasted like they just came out of the oven! We got a side of macaroni salad that was so good, not loaded with Mayo, just like we like it! We will be back again this week during our stay here in Manteo! This is a place you should definitely try while here in Manteo! Thanks for a great lunch!"

Waveriders is the move if you want a sandwich to take to the beach. On a weekend Outer Banks' trip, the girls and I ordered sandwiches for our beach day. There is a sandwich for everyone here. My bestie who has the home here will always grab a sandwich while she's in town. Her family loves it. We ordered online ahead of time and picked up the goods in person on our way to the beach. There was a lot of parking out front so pick up was easy.I ordered the Chuck and added mozzarella and tomato to it. This sandwich was filling! I loved how fresh the ingredients were. My friends devoured their sandwiches too. It's the perfect quick takeout beach day stop. I highly recommend checking it out.

I was close to Shortpump and was looking for a really good breakfast cafe that I could get a nice serving of bacon and eggs which was literally what I craved at the time hahaha! I found Boychik's on Yelp and they had pretty good reviews. Upon walking in the cafe atmosphere is really cozy and gives a relaxed cafe vibe with unique decor.Uniquely on the menu I was able to order The Adkins Special which is literally eggs and bacon in my case, but you can get sausage or any choice of meat and eggs made any way you want. It was very filling and you really get a nice portion. I got mines to go since I was on my way into work, I called it in and didn't wait long at all.I'm happy I found a great breakfast cafe with fresh breakfast on the go. Looking forward to trying the lunch options one afternoon, so far very impressed!

Margarita pizza with the pesto drizzle is amazing! Had it on the first night and had to go back one more time before our vacation was over. If you're staying in Corolla it's a must for a pizza night!

I had an amazing experience at this Greek spot! The food was absolutely delicious--perfectly seasoned chicken, fresh toppings, and a soft, warm pita that brought so much happiness to the gyro. The homemade tzatziki was a standout--so fresh and flavorful, it really elevated the entire meal. The house made chips were my favorite as well. The Greek fries were okay. We liked the seasoning on them but the fries themselves left much to be desired. I don't think it detracts from the rating though. The chips made up for it!The service was top-notch; the staff was friendly and super sweet. The ambiance is classic diner style, where you order at the counter and wait for your number to be called. It's casual and laid-back, making it a great spot for a quick, satisfying meal. I'll definitely be back!

DELICIOUS Sub and really good bacon cheese fries as well. My family gets food from here and has a picnic in the sunken gardens every time we come back for the William and Mary Homecoming.

"Where to eat (that is of course open after 10pm) after a long winter day at Busch Gardens. To YELP we go! Found Paul's and we figured it was a bar type place due to being open till 2am. We were a little wary of what the neighborhood would be like but it was in a nice location and the outside was nice. We entered and it did not disappoint that it was indeed a bar...very loud and crowded. We were seated on the heated patio...Ahhh! Nice! Our server was really good and steered my hubby to the Holly (Roast beef, turkey, bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, pickle). I got the Turkey Club Sub (Turkey, bacon, swiss, lettuce, tomato, mayo, pickle) but opted for white bread instead of a roll. We ate it all and were so glad we came here! PS. do not use the bathroom here...go before you come here. It is a typical bar bathroom and could possibly ruin your meal."
"I have never seen so many different vegan meat options in my life. Even if you are not vegan you can still have a tasty meal here. I did an early dinner with a Reuben Sandwich and side of Cauliflower "Onion" rings. The meat (non-meat) was sooooo good. My girlfriend got the Mediterranean sandwich with the pickled cucumber salad side that was also good. The owners are super friendly and the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming!Next visit will be to try breakfast. If any criticism it would be they close so early at 6pm but that seems to be all vegan places."
"Server was very attentive no complaint there. Food was okay not like it use to be. Very disappointed that the pickles are now $2.50 instead of free. Always loved knowing that I could go somewhere that did this as I am gluten free and it was like the bread basket but instead a small bowl of pickles. The atmosphere was off I cannot put my finger on it just not a good vibe. Not sure when the next time we will be going back. All new staff and seems like possible new ownership."
"If you need anything, come to Granby Bistro & Deli. It is located on Granby Street, near the corner of Granby/W. Tazewell; beside Hokkaido Sushi. Park in one of the city garages, or on the street if you get lucky. And can parallel park.It is a one stop shop - a mini grocery store - with all types of drinks in the fridge, dry goods, snacks, canned goods, toiletries, and of course, deli food - they serve different types of deli sandwiches, and specialize in Greek food. Mr Adel is so nice, and has helped me a couple times. Each time, I ordered the gyro and fries. This combo only comes out to about $9. He makes it fresh for you. I learned that this used to be a restaurant, but some years ago, it switched to a grocery store/ deli style shop. They even have a lotto machine in here - I've gotten scratchers twice and won a little something both times! Maybe the next time I'll win BIG. I hope.Anyway, support this small shop. You can tell the owners have put a lot of time and love into it over the years. It even kind of reminds me of the Philippines, like a little "sari-sari" store, if you're familiar with that. :)"
"Best sandwiches around!!! Reminds me of a NY deli!! If you get the works on a sandwich no extra charges or fees. They always go above and beyond for customers! They also have a great selection of quality meat/cuts with great prices! Hands down the BEST sub in Virginia Beach!"
"Delicious and affordable. Portions are big! I love the onion rings. The fried fish sandwich is amazing, few bones left in but it was still good. Their bbq is good if you like the vinegar based kind- I don't but for that kind it's good. It gets very busy around lunch but you can always call in and they deliver. Staff is always very friendly as well! For a cheap fried food, burger place, its great. I am not a fan of their wraps though but I would still come back if I have a southern sandwich craving."
"Normal menu or specials, haven't had a meal that wasn't fantastic. The added bonus of getting to watch small planes taking off and landing makes Charly's a unique spot!"
"New York Bagel is the REAL DEAL...... if you're looking for delicious bagels, mouthwatering corn beef and pastrami, you've come to the right place. If Charlie the owner is there , have him make you "The Pothole", it's not on the menu, loaded with corn beef, pastrami, slice of cheese with his special thousand island dressing on a soft piece of rye bread.....Outstanding Sandwich!!!!! Check it out, especially if your missing that NY flavor."
"After a long night dealing with my sick kids..I finally was able to catch a breather and get my hair done next door. I've been eye balling ever since they said that this place was gonna be a deli place. I am huge sandwich and wrap person...well food in general. Haha I came rolling in looking busted and with an appetite lolThey seem to have a decent amount of traffic for being a grand opening. The guys were hustling. Loved it. Anyways I ordered the Sante Fe Wrap. It was delicious. It was served hot with spinach, salsalito turkey, fresh mozzarella, and may. It was so good. It makes a huge difference when you use fresh cheese. They serve, deli sandwiches, juices, paninis, wraps, gyros, etc..I'm definitely about it hahaI'll be back."
"This place is amazing compared to its competitors. The meat taste better than deli meat you can purchase. The bread is outstanding. The soup was thick and flavorful like grandma, mom or your spouse makes it. I got the full blondie and the smoked turkey was delicious. My wife was kind enough to let me try her soup. She is actually sad this is the last month for soup. Wife wanted soup but also got half chicken breast sandwich. It was real chicken breast which she loved because she is watching her sodium. However she could've had a bucket of that soup. I was able to take the other half of my sandwich to work the next day it was so big. It comes with chips and pickles. The pickles were actually good. Sorry I do think a good pickle matters with a sandwich. They have a drive thru which makes it fast and convenient if you're on the go. Trust me try this place and not all those chains. My only regret is not going here more often when in town."
"Absolutely BEST HAPPY HOUR HANDS DOWN!!! We didn't go for the food but we show up for them drinks!!!! We will definitely return during the next happy hour!!!!Takes for the hospitality and great service!"
"Stopped by this deli briefly because we were in need of some lunch, and were pleasantly surprised. Best hoagie I have had in a long time!! Very personable, family owned deli. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be back!"
"The tuna sandwich was good but the service was super slow. Free pickles were good. I was not made to feel welcome."
"I wish I would of taken mor photos but we ate everything too fast! The food was so fresh and just absolutely delicious. We loved that we order from our phones but how attentive the staff still was. The vibes were flowery chill. I loved the fact that they played such eclectic music. From Dirty Heads to Kenny Chesney. We will be back any and every time we are in this area"
"The owner of Route 58 passed away. It was rumored that a family member would run it but that didn't happen. His daughter lives in another state and didn't want to move so the family sold it.It is now similar to the old layout. However the kitchen is closed off, the pictures are gone from the wall and the cheesecake does greet you at the door. Currently they are open 8am to 3pm. They are planning on opening for dinner but not yet.As usual Bill and I shared a sandwich. I get 1/4 which is all I can eat. I did hear a gentleman order 1/4 of a sandwich I didn't know you can do that. Skip the fries. $6.00 for a bowl of crinkle cuts. Also know there is a 3.5% added for using plastic.Service was outstanding."
"Freaky fast and freaky good, I stopped in for a "to go" lunch today and brought it with me to the airport.I've decided that I do not care for the oregano on the sandwich, so today was the Gargantuan in the "Unwich" format (lettuce, not bread) with a few other customizations including adding cucumber and adding dijon mustard. What ended up was a delicious sandwich that fit almost perfectly on my keto (no carb) diet.Great sandwich, clean restaurant, prepared super quickly. Jimmy John's does deliver within a 5 minute radius. Probably a good idea because this is not a very large parking lot. They do have an outside table.Round number special review... this is my 1000th review in the Commonwealth of Virginia! That includes 420 in Virginia Beach, 109 in Norfolk, 91 in Chesapeake and 84 in Winchester.[Review 10880 overall, 651 of 2019.]"
"First time I've ever been inside a Jersey Mikes. I enjoyed them at a few events and it's been good. The strip is newer and has a Starbucks, Great Clips and Aspen Dental. Parking is plentiful and clear of debris. This was a Friday evening visit and no other customers. The dining room was clean with all tables cleaned and cleared. This was a great start. My daughter was with me and got a turkey, I ordered a BLT. The staff we got was training, she it was a bit impersonal. The other two were lose and friendly. The sandwich was made fresh in front of us and the staff confirmed if anything was customized. No issues with my card processing and can tip. I grabbed a bottle of water, they have both fountain and bottle drinks. My daughter and I both agreed that we enjoyed our sandwiches. The bread was sift and fresh, the meat tasty! I must say I really liked my BLT. I would return and recommend!"
"Planning a week here in Williamsburg and decided to go to the Outlets on the way in. Looked up places to eat and found this new gem. Open just a few months, but my wife and I enjoyed our lunch very much. She had a Chicken Salad sandwich and I had the Italian Sub. They were both delicious. The women who run the place are really nice and we plan to come back in the future to see how they've grown. Highly recommend for a great lunch when you find yourself here."
"Every time we go to Lowes my husband talks about eating a sandwich from here. It always smells amazing! So today he got the Italian sausage and I got the cheeseburger. I personally didn't like it much, but my husband thought it was a delicious sausage sandwich, just like the ones you get in New York streets. They prepared the food pretty fast and price was decent."
"Good hoagies for the familia. Eat here and you will enjoy life more fully. Yum yum gets me to the required number of words."
"This would have been a 5 star rating however if you want to order online you have to use your debit or credit card. I have a gift card but since there will be a remaining balance I can't place order online. So I have to personally order in store at the counter. Today, there was no wait at counter. Food was prepared exactly as requested."
"Best food ever. Always coming back for it. They always seem to have a lot of regulars coming in daily as well"
"This Jersey Mike's location just opened recently and is a welcomed addition to the area. It is located at the corner of Battlefield Boulevard and Albemarle Drive in the Great Bridge section of Chesapeake. The location is very close to my job so it's very convenient for me. Ordering online and picking up in the store is a breeze. I prefer to order online for the convenience and to earn points with their rewards program but it seems many prefer to go to the store and wait in line to place their orders. In either case, they are friendly and efficient and will make you a very nice sandwich with fresh ingredients. My go to sub at any Jersey Mike's location is the #13 Original Italian. It's made with provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, pepperoni and toppings of your choice. You can choose your type of sub roll from white, wheat, rosemary parmesan (my favorite) or gluten free. I've only eaten from this location twice, once a coworker picked up an order for a few of us and the other time I ordered online and picked up in the store. On both occasions my order was correct and delicious. The parking lot shared with a few other businesses is on the small side but seems to be adequate. The lot is in good repair and I have not observed any trash or debris accumulation. There is one point of access on Battlefield Boulevard heading south and another on Albemarle Drive from either direction. The restaurant is neat and clean. It's mostly a take out restaurant but there are a few tables and chairs if you wish to dine in. I'm happy to have Jersey Mike's in the neighborhood, I'm sure I will visit again soon."
