I also had the frozen Hawaiian mocha coffee with almond milk. It was delicious! It was also busy so we ordered online vs waiting in line to order, took about 30 minutes (which was fine as we went shopping and came back) the outside patio looked so nice! Definitely want to go back with my puppy and sit and enjoy! They send a text when your food is waiting. We enjoyed it! It was a nice (breakfast, brunch, lunch) spot and they close @14 For it being busier than usual today it was pretty fast!"

"The food was tasty...The organization of getting the food to each person was a sloppy mess. We waited over an hour to receive a pizza pie and a sub; based on the orders being called as each item was ready instead of calling orders when full orders were ready.If Gordon Ramsay was eating there he would have shut it down. Again food tastes, great. But, with the ridiculous wait time we ended up taking the second part of our order to go as a one hour wait for a basic sub was truly unacceptable. If we ever go back we would order al carte to make sure we were not forgotten.And on top of it the manager was chatting with a friend at a table having probably no idea what was going on in the kitchen."

"Bergey's Breadbasket is a must visit if you are in the area. They make the ice cream themselves, and the flavors are seasonal. We all had an ice cream and it was delicious, creamy, not insanely sweet. They also had some unique flavors. I missed the key lime pie but picked up peanut brittle and other locally made goodies. My husband loved the turkey club sandwich. The outdoor seating area is super cute. They also have goats you can feed which my kiddos loved. We didn't get a chance to visit the petting zoo due to time but we will next time."

"Boychik's deli is an awesome little deli. They have a surprisingly large menu. I've had breakfast and lunch dishes and can't say I have ever been disappointed. The food is always fresh and delicious. It's an older deli with some local business advertisements on the walls.The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. They work hard because the place is usually full all day. Today's trip I had the Rueben sandwich and when I tell you it was good, one of the best I've had. The bread was soft and added that nice flavor with the 1000 island dressing with the kraut. I've taken friends who absolutely love this place. They wish they had a Boychik's where they live. Every time they come this way we end up there having a meal. Boychik's is not a commercial chain nor is it advertised well. The beauty of that is that it is a locals place where those of us that live in the area frequent. So if you're reading this from out of town, trust me and just go get a great meal."

Grease was the burger's only flavor. The French fries were shoveled out anemic, limp & cold. The waitress was friendly & commiserative when she heard our meal displeasure. Even if she told management our dismay - not a Nickle was removed from the bill. Yah know in a town full of restaurants starving for good help this young woman should change jobs."

We were a little wary of what the neighborhood would be like but it was in a nice location and the outside was nice. We entered and it did not disappoint that it was indeed a bar...very loud and crowded. We were seated on the heated patio...Ahhh! Nice! Our server was really good and steered my hubby to the Holly (Roast beef, turkey, bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, pickle). I got the Turkey Club Sub (Turkey, bacon, swiss, lettuce, tomato, mayo, pickle) but opted for white bread instead of a roll. We ate it all and were so glad we came here! PS. do not use the bathroom here...go before you come here. It is a typical bar bathroom and could possibly ruin your meal."

I did an early dinner with a Reuben Sandwich and side of Cauliflower "Onion" rings. The meat (non-meat) was sooooo good. My girlfriend got the Mediterranean sandwich with the pickled cucumber salad side that was also good. The owners are super friendly and the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming!Next visit will be to try breakfast. "If you need anything, come to Granby Bistro & Deli. It is located on Granby Street, near the corner of Granby/W. Tazewell; beside Hokkaido Sushi. Park in one of the city garages, or on the street if you get lucky. And can parallel park.It is a one stop shop - a mini grocery store - with all types of drinks in the fridge, dry goods, snacks, canned goods, toiletries, and of course, deli food - they serve different types of deli sandwiches, and specialize in Greek food. Mr Adel is so nice, and has helped me a couple times. Each time, I ordered the gyro and fries. This combo only comes out to about $9. He makes it fresh for you. I learned that this used to be a restaurant, but some years ago, it switched to a grocery store/ deli style shop. They even have a lotto machine in here - I've gotten scratchers twice and won a little something both times! Maybe the next time I'll win BIG. I hope.Anyway, support this small shop. You can tell the owners have put a lot of time and love into it over the years. It even kind of reminds me of the Philippines, like a little "sari-sari" store, if you're familiar with that. :)"

The soup was thick and flavorful like grandma, mom or your spouse makes it. I got the full blondie and the smoked turkey was delicious. My wife was kind enough to let me try her soup. She is actually sad this is the last month for soup. Wife wanted soup but also got half chicken breast sandwich. It was real chicken breast which she loved because she is watching her sodium. However she could've had a bucket of that soup. I was able to take the other half of my sandwich to work the next day it was so big. It comes with chips and pickles. The pickles were actually good. Sorry I do think a good pickle matters with a sandwich. They have a drive thru which makes it fast and convenient if you're on the go. Trust me try this place and not all those chains. My only regret is not going here more often when in town."

I did hear a gentleman order 1/4 of a sandwich I didn't know you can do that. Skip the fries. $6.00 for a bowl of crinkle cuts. "First time I've ever been inside a Jersey Mikes. I enjoyed them at a few events and it's been good.The strip is newer and has a Starbucks, Great Clips and Aspen Dental. Parking is plentiful and clear of debris. This was a Friday evening visit and no other customers. The dining room was clean with all tables cleaned and cleared. This was a great start. My daughter was with me and got a turkey, I ordered a BLT. The staff we got was training, she it was a bit impersonal. The other two were lose and friendly. The sandwich was made fresh in front of us and the staff confirmed if anything was customized. No issues with my card processing and can tip. I grabbed a bottle of water, they have both fountain and bottle drinks.My daughter and I both agreed that we enjoyed our sandwiches. The bread was sift and fresh, the meat tasty! I must say I really liked my BLT. I would return and recommend!"

"This Jersey Mike's location just opened recently and is a welcomed addition to the area. It is located at the corner of Battlefield Boulevard and Albemarle Drive in the Great Bridge section of Chesapeake. The location is very close to my job so it's very convenient for me. Ordering online and picking up in the store is a breeze. I prefer to order online for the convenience and to earn points with their rewards program but it seems many prefer to go to the store and wait in line to place their orders. In either case, they are friendly and efficient and will make you a very nice sandwich with fresh ingredients.My go to sub at any Jersey Mike's location is the #13 Original Italian. It's made with provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, pepperoni and toppings of your choice. You can choose your type of sub roll from white, wheat, rosemary parmesan (my favorite) or gluten free. I've only eaten from this location twice, once a coworker picked up an order for a few of us and the other time I ordered online and picked up in the store. On both occasions my order was correct and delicious.The parking lot shared with a few other businesses is on the small side but seems to be adequate. The lot is in good repair and I have not observed any trash or debris accumulation. There is one point of access on Battlefield Boulevard heading south and another on Albemarle Drive from either direction. The restaurant is neat and clean. It's mostly a take out restaurant but there are a few tables and chairs if you wish to dine in. I'm happy to have Jersey Mike's in the neighborhood, I'm sure I will visit again soon."
