"Came in to save the day! $10 all you can eat pulled pork, coleslaw, Mac & Cheese, baked beans AND a roll....I personally favor creamy mac and cheese over baked, so their white cheddar mac and cheese was a hit! My 7 year old had SEVERAL plates. The coleslaw was homemade and had great flavor. Pulled pork was wonderful! (I think my teenage son had 3-4 plates) I saw the all you can eat thing on Facebook, and we tried it out after a failed event earlier in the day that left everyone tired, starving, and pretty cranky, they did not disappoint! Will definitely be back"
"I have to drop 5 stars on this restaurant, folks. Hear me out. This place is not a chain and you probably have never heard of this place. Neither did I. I was about to get some tacos from Taco Hell when I decided to do a taco search on yelp and saw this restaurant. When you arrive, your may head for the double doors under the sign. Those doors are always locked so just head left to the next door and you will enter the grocery portion of the restaurant. They have 2 large freezers and a 2 large refrigerators with glass door housing a lot of food for you to attempt to cook some of the things on the menu or more. There are 2 small aisles with salsas, spices, chips, taco shells, soccer shirts, etc. You move through the grocery section into the restaurant and you can seat yourself. I was greeted within seconds and started my order. Tacos are $2! For meats, you have your choice of steak, beef tongue, beef head, pork, Al Pastor, lamb (they only do on the weekends), and chicken. Beef head?? Never had it, so you know I had to dive in on that for one of my tacos. I also ordered a steak and pork taco. When your tacos arrive, they give you a carrier that can hold limes, diced onions and cilatro, salsa, and salsa verde separately. All of the tacos were delicious. The beef head was fatty, tender, and delicioso! I know I'm not supposed to like the fatty option, but hey we have to live a little. The service is great and the food doesn't take long at all to make. While checking out on my first visit, the cashier asked if I tried the beef tongue. I wasn't that brave, to be honest. She ran to the kitchen and let me try a sample and I was surprised by how flavorful the tongue tasted. I know, it is still strange for me typing that. I did, however, get me a beef tongue'd taco on my second time going there! You have the choice of purchasing any of the meat by the pound. What a fabulous idea! I bought a pound of beef head to share with my neighbor and he loved it. This is now one of my go to Mexican spots in the peninsula."
"I love this place! It's so unique and has so much stuff from around the world. We went to get cold brew from Project Seed Coffee, and we ended up getting a slice from Empowered Plant Cakes and checked out all the cool and different snacks. Also, want that Disney Dole Whip, but are not at Disney, this is your spot- it's a Ghent miracle, bc they got it! Talk about Disney Ghent. The owner is so so kind, and was so welcoming to my girlfriend and myself. We can't wait to return when we're in the area again."
"Franks is a throw back type of truck stop/restaurant.We've reviewed them before and really enjoyed it. Most of the employees are excellent...but there is always that "one" Not sure of her name but she has the coldest personality and has ZERO business being a server. The first picture is of her. There are two other servers that we have encountered and they are more than friendly and do an excellent job.I'm not sure if it's the pool of people that Franks has to choose from or if it's their pay rate.Either or, in the long run, it's not a really bad place to go."
"4/30/21: We stopped here on the way out of town to get gas and some snacks. The sign outside said that they had pizza, so my son was excited about that. Unfortunately, when we got inside the cook said they don't have pizza anymore. They may be bringing it back soon, but none is available now. So, we got potato wedges, chicken livers, and chicken gizzards. The livers and wedges were fresh, so they were yummy. The gizzards, on the other hand, were soggy and cold. We did not enjoy them at all, but we had to get back on the road, so we didn't take them back. I can honestly say that if I'm in the area & craving livers, I would go back for sure."

Love malbons for all my one stop shop needs. I've never actually had their bbq, but I hear it's amazing. I come here for gas and beer so I can't speak to anything else. The employees are always so friendly, no matter what time of day I come in. It's on the other side of town from me now, but whenever I'm back over there I make sure to go. Next time I'll try their bbq.

First time stopping in here and I do not normally review a convenience store... well this is like a convenience store plus local farmer's market, international food store, package store (with NA options), bakery AND they have Dole Whip on tap!! I've been driving and running by this place for a while now and my only regret is I didn't stop in sooner!Literally has everything from bottom shelf beer and lays chips to plant based cake slices! Local made products, imported spices, rice, beans, stuff I've never even heard of but want to try! We settled for a case of Liquid Death sparkling water (for cheaper than other places even on sale!), snack mix, slim Jim, sardines in hot sauce, a slice of vegan plant based carrot cake, local cold brew coffee and local hydration drink. Oh and of course some Dole Whip WATERMELON! We'll be back soon! Owner was awesome as well! Sean (I apologize if I didn't spell that correctly) was very nice and even talked to the kids too!

Food was decent, prepared fast. Good portions for the price. The waitress on the other hand was a zombie. No personality, no energy, no give-a-damn. I would grab food to go it I was passing by and hungry and eat it in my truck but would not go out of my way to eat here. I rank my decisions to eat somewhere again as:1 star - if someone else buys it I won't eat it, I would rather go hungry.2 star - if I'm hungry, no other options are open and someone buys it - I would consider eating it3 star - I'm ok with eating it as long as someone else pays 4 star - I will eat again and pay for it and be a semi-regular customer 5 star - I will travel for good food and pay good money and be back on a regular basis and maybe even pay for yours just so we can go

This 7-11 is beautiful! It's been long awaited for a 7-11 to come to northern Moyock, especially right on 168. There are plenty of gas pumps. However, I found it a bit disappointing that several of them were already out. I love the modern look inside. They even have a little area to sit and eat. They have a refrigerated area of beer. The coffee area (my favorite) is a long counter plenty of space and all condiments stored above the counter to utilize the space. The only thing that needs to be addressed would be the much needed traffic light. I can't imagine the traffic situation come summer.

Red barn. This place is pretty cool. It has a little bit of everything. It's been here for as long as I can remember and I can't imagine it's going anywhere. They have some pretty neat beverages, my husband got some Jack and cokes and said they were surprisingly really good.We also get scratches here occasionally. The staff is super friendly and engaging. Parking can be tricky some nights. But it's a good spot!

"Bro they got that good champ's chicken in here ! Whoooo whee. It almost mitigates the fact that their gas price is usually pricier than most other stations. Almost. Nonetheless it's a much quieter and nicer gas station than most of the places in the area and it has multiple junctions for you to get in."
"New and Good store with hot coffee. Clean store and clean bathrooms. Friendly customer service. Genuinely just a really nice place. This was my first visit to this store since it was built. I remember when they started building it the last time I was on my way to the outer banks."
"A well run, easily accessed convience store near the intersection of HWY 17 and Denbigh roads that is family owned and operated by some very nice folkls that not only sells fuel and groceries but also has some things you will not find too often these days...1. Pumps with Off-Road Diesel (Red Dyed) and Kerosene and...2. A great little menu of fied Chicken, Fish and something as hard top find as Off-Road Diesel...fried Livers and Gizzards! Add to that soem great Breakfast and Lunch/ Dinner options."
"I had ordered gizzards from the restaurant, in which the were out of and would not provide a substitute. The "Cheese fries" that were ordered, was nothing more than cold stale fries and unmelted Kraft cheese unlike the menu photo. The mix over rice, contained extremely undercooked and crunchy rice. First time trying this place and most likely will be the last."
