"I am going to San Francisco for a work conference and to visit friends afterwards. I had gotten most of my gifts at VA Goods in Selden Market, but I was looking for one last thing to wrap up my gift giving! I decided to take a trip to the retail location of Rich Port Coffee down the street from Selden Market. The retail location is located on the corner of the ground floor of the office building at the corner of West Main Street and Boush Street. It offers all the wonderful coffee drinks, cold bevs, baked goods and some merch like popcorn from Puerto Rico and hand painted coffee percolators. Rich Port Coffee started out as a wholesale roaster in Selden Market (where the roastery remains) and then they opened the retail location last year. - Parking - There is metered parking on the street and various parking garages nearby. Don't quote me on this, but there may be free parking spaces in front of Boush Street. - What I got - I was looking for a bag of their roasted coffee and at the time of my visit, there were 1lb bags of roasted whole bean coffee from El Salvador, Colombia, adn Puerto Rico. Since the owners are from PR (hence the name, Puerto Rico = Rich Port), I decided to get a bag of the PR beans, because that is not a country you see very often. They are in different colored bags and have cute little flag dots to identify the coffee. Since it was whole bean, and not everyone has a coffee grinder, Mia, the owner, offered to grind it for me. This was super nice and convenient, as they have a way better grinder than I do! The bag cost be about $20, but at the time of this writing, they are running a special, that if you buy a 1lb bag of coffee beans, you get a free 12oz drink. Since it was 88F today, I opted for an iced mocha and it was just the afternoon pick-me-up that I needed!Rich Port Coffee is a little hidden, but conveniently located at the corner by Todd Jurich Bistro and the Nauticus! Stop on by as they have awesome drinks, goodies from small local businesses like Smores Amore and others.Enjoy, Friends, and never stop exploring!"
"What a hidden gem! I discovered Pangaea by accident while my wife shopped for more plants that we don't need. I got to talking with the owners, who filled me in on the history of their business. So cool! Both very friendly guys. The decor is so unique and fun! My son wanted to try the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant, and my daughter was excited for the croissant, too. They both loved their food, which is exceedingly rare for my very picky children! I wish I could say that I got a picture, but they devoured it before I had the chance! My wife got a bite, but I wasn't so lucky; she expressed that it was really good, too. I got a drip coffee for myself and it was quite good. I wish that it was in a freestanding space, but this does give me something to look forward to when my wife drags me out to buy more plants!"

"2D cafe was super cute! I felt like I was in a cartoon :) the ambiance was very casual. To order you walk up to the counter and they give you a number. It is first come first serve seating so you'll need to find and claim your own seat. It was pretty busy when I went and I went on a Sunday morning. There is additional outdoor seating as well but that is limited.I only got 2 things when I went but plan to come back to try more! I started off with a matcha strawberry latte with coconut cold foam on top. It might not be on the menu because apparently they change their menu every month. The drink was good but I was hoping for more matcha flavor! The cold foam overpowered the drink but it was still good and refreshing. My bagel was delicious! It was stuffed with bacon, egg, cheese, avocado, pickled onions and greens served on an everything bagel and some chipotle aioli. Perfect brunch combo!! Next time I go I want to try their charcuterie boards because that totally fits the vibe. Will update once I go back to try more!! Highly recommend for anyone in the oceanfront area :)"
"Great little coffee, bakery and fresh fruit bowls. Different vibe than a chain coffee house and a little more comfortable and authentic. A coffee bean system for aging and "pick and bag" your own beans."
"Before I begin, let me start off by saying that this review is based solely upon my personal experiences and my personal experiences alone. So with that being said let's go!.My wife and I spotted this little spot located across from the place we were staying, we decided to give them a try. They had a nice selection of ice cream flavors to choose from. My wife chose banana pudding and cookies and cream with a two scoop cup and I chose a coffee ice cream with caramel swirl and coffee chips ( sorry, I forgot the actual name of it ) . I took oof one star because you can't sample any of the flavors so you're basically winging it! Other than that I will return to try other flavors!."
"Favorite coffee shop that I visited in Norfolk! They use local beans and the coffee was made with care. They use house made syrups and their vanilla oat milk latte was so good I came back and got it a second time. Drip coffee comes with a free refill. They have a limited food menu with unique items that were all very good. We tried the banh mi and liege waffle and both were hot, fresh, and delicious! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and the place itself is cute and quaint. Employees are friendly and service was great. Would definitely recommend if you're in Norfolk!"
"Yummy coffee shop!!! Was down in this area and decided to caffeinate before heading to a concert and it was a great experience! Coffee was delicious! Both got iced brews with skim milk and the coffee had a great flavor. Great variety of flavored syrups. Tons of flavored syrups, coffees, teas and other drink choices. I'm sure people will find something they like. Also picked up an M&M cookie and orange roll/bun. Both were so good! They have a lot of food choices from lunch sandwiches to quiche and lots of sweet treats as well. They have a good number of seats and an area to pick-up your drinks. The woman who took our order was kind and asked if we wanted our orange bun heated up, which was a nice gesture. Will be back when passing through the area!"
"Everything is not always about the size. The place was a bit small but the staff were very helpful and friendly. I didnt find what I came in for but what was sold to me was equally good."
"My new favorite spot!! Not only is it a market....it's a restaurant too! The meals are absolutely delicious and taste so fresh. Big plus that the prices are reasonable! When I walked in, I felt like I was immediately transported to Italy. The atmosphere is welcoming, relaxed, and lovely. And the staff is very friendly.Don't skip the salads! They are mouthwatering. Everything that was ordered during my 2 visits: caprese salad, four cheese ravioli, gnocchi with pesto, chocolate profiteroles, pistachio cake, and 2 specials which i forgot the name. Don't miss out on the specials. They are so good!!It's a small space so best for small groups of around 4. Excited to bring more of my family and friends here!"
"I'm in Virginia for a conference and asked a local friend if there was somewhere to eat that I shouldn't miss. She suggested Tous Les Jours. So I just stopped for breakfast. Everything looked so wonderful that I bought several items to bring home. I only ate the spinach cheese danish and part of a custard filled pretzel. Oh my goodness!! So fantastic. Definitely reminds me of patisseries in Europe!! I didn't expect to spend $50 for breakfast but have a delicious box full of bakery items to enjoy with my husband when I get home this afternoon! Yummy."
"We come here 5x's a week, once a year. Nothing better. It's funny that "Karen" gives them a 1 star because they were closed for a staffing issue. She's probably the same lady who puts her tent up in front of mine at the beach. Food - 5*, Service - 5*, Vibe - 5*. Mad Karen - 0*. WE LOVE NLB!"
"What a lovely cafe! Opening their front door is like you discovered a secret place and you immediately walk into the world of Pangaea. I was told that the decor was inspired by the Rain Forest Cafe that one of the owners used to frequent in his childhood. Pangaea is more quaint, and more classy and no animal noises. You won't hear an elephant every 10 minutes haha. They have done an amazing job of turning a space under an apartment building into the trendiest cafe in Poquoson, and dare I say, on the peninsula! I love this little town, small, but oh so mighty!- Parking - Very limited as the parking lot is the apartment complex parking lot. No worries though, because the apartments are next to a shopping center. I just parked in the center lot.I was meeting my Yelp bestie there and she had arrived before me and had ordered the baja burrito! OMG, order this. I am not usually a breakfast burrito person, but I am if it's that burrito! She also ordered the pound cake with a yummy cream on top with rosemary and blackberries I think? So yum!I personally was torn with few menu items. One of the lovely baristas was so helpful and made accommodations so I can have the best of all worlds! I ended up getting the tres leches iced latte with the dalgona foam and then I also ordered the Sichuan sandwich with a gochujang cookie! Now you know your Korean girl was gonna get the Korean items on the menu!Latte, delicious! I will ask for more sweetness next time though. Personal preference. How do you think I stay so sweet? LOLSichaun sando - I was just intrigued with all the flavor profiles, but this was just fine for me. I think the baja burrito was such a win so it made the lasting impression. Gochujang cookie - very interesting! I wasn't sure at first, but the more I ate it, the more i liked it! Such a beautiful cafe, with top notch customer service, and the vibe? Love that they brought the outside in! Can't wait to go back and spend more time there. Get some work done and get inspired!Enjoy, Friends, and never stop exploring!"

I love this spot! The barista is always so kind and helpful, and they are so conveniently located just across from Nauticus, so now it's my go-to when we visit the museum. I have enjoyed a couple different lattes from here so far, and they also have a good selection of baked items. They have to-go options as well as some that can be warmed and eaten here. It's interesting how it's really a cafe inside a business building, but is a great getaway off the street to come in and grab some coffee to go. Places like this are always a good find!

I've been to the Pangea location in Poquoson and when I heard there was another location, I had to stop by. Unfortunately, if you didn't know it was inside Anderson's, it's easy to miss! But this location is such a gem, I wish there were signs outside to let the public know. Pangea gives the rainforest cafe meets bohemian coffee shop vibes. I tried the matcha latte with lavender and vanilla syrup at the recommendation of the barista and it was delicious! Glad I took her advice, she was such a sweetheart!

3.5 Here. Yay! After several months inside with my newborn, I'm so excited to try a cute new place. And to be the first to share it on Yelp so others can find it. This is definitely a cute cafe and very insta worthy if that's your thing. Everything is black and white themed, including their plates and cups for dining in. Even the bathroom. They actually have a huge menu of food items. It's not just coffee. They have smoothies, bowls, breakfast, pastries, snacks, sandwiches, burgers etc. We saw a bunch of good coffee drinks but I abstained bc of all the sugar. So we tried two Turkish coffees and the Menemen which is a Turkish egg dish with tomato and onions and is amazing. Hubs added Gyro meat for protein. All in all - was about $40 for just that so it's not cheap. There are lots of Turkish goodies here. If you've never had Turkish food and if you know what's good for you, you'll come try it. Bc you are missing out! There is room for improvement here - there is a language barrier with the gals working up front so they messed up the orders (happened to us and the table beside us) and it takes a long time to get your food and coffee. We probably waited 20 minutes to get our Turkish coffees and they weren't that busy (think two other tables). Fortunately, we weren't in a huge hurry on a Sunday and hopefully they'll get it all smoothed out.

I had the lox breakfast sandwich with egg and avocado. It was so delicious. But I was really, really disappointed that they didn't have any cold pressed juices. I had an iced coffee as an alternative drink and there were coffee grounds in it. Service and ambiance were solid. But a trip to "cold pressed" should produce juice.

I've been anxiously waiting for this spot to open for what feels like years. Finally! We rode our bikes along the boardwalk and saw it is open so we had to stop in and take a look and try a scoop! This is going to be great during the hot summer when you're on the beach and want to come enjoy a treat. In front they have a large patio with plenty of tables and outdoor seating with umbrellas for shade. They also serve Starbucks coffee inside this Marriott Lobby shop. The vibe is cute and retro with a large glass case inside where you can view all the flavors and make your choice. It's pretty pricey but that's as expected for this most fancy of VAB hotels. Very posh. They have some yummy ice cream flavors featuring the famous Tarnished Truth bourbon made across the street in the Cavalier hotel distillery.Ice cream is creamy good and I want to come back and try one of the milkshakes or sundaes another time.

What a sweet spot! Make sure to pay attention when trying to find this place because it's a literal HOUSE! It's super adorable and the baristas were sweet! Hands down, probably the best Dirty Chai I've had so far, it had the right amount of sweetness and spice!

The service here is impeccable! The man behind the counter had a contagious friendly attitude. I only ordered a coffee but the baked goods looked great! It's not the biggest place, but had a nice cozy vibe to it. Would recommend. 9/10.

We were optimistic walking up to Sweet T's... but we should have know something was up when there were no cars in the parking lot at a coffee shop at 8AM. Such a cute location but we were barely greeted when we came in, and the place was empty...the coffee was less than impressive feels like a lots of concepts converging into one ...cute decor! we sat outside and decided to go back to Treehouse Cafe and Coffee again!

"The cutest coffee shop inside a yoga studio. Anna the barista made an amazing brown sugar latte. Definitely a must try coffee spot!"
"The service here is top-notch--friendly, attentive, and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious, and you can tell everything is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I tried the Cuban sandwich, and it was the one of the best I've ever had! I've tried two different coffee drinks and both were made well. The cozy ambiance and attention to detail make this café the perfect spot for a casual meet-up or solo relaxation. I can't wait to come back and try more from their menu. Highly recommend!"
"Very quick service! Food comes out in less than 10 min of ordering. Very simple food menu options. Mainly just staple items. Very affordable. Meals $10-$15 avg. per person. Waitresses are kind ladies typically. You do have to go to the register to pay!"
"Nice and friendly staff. All the treats and even the drinks are always good. Cookies are huge and easily shareable."
"Coffee is ABSOLUTELY amazing, so much so that my wife and step daughter ALWAYS want something from there. Compared to a place like Starbucks my wife mentioned the coffee is much better and drinks taste amazing. The staff is incredible. They make the place feelLike home.Few things I wish the owner improve AC. Even if it's 60's outside it will be HOT inside to the point I'm sweating. In summer it gets unbearable.WiFi. Been on it once or twice it wasn't able to stream video, I use my hotspot when I go. Wish they would get gigabit internet put Access Points throughout the top floor.Water. I order water and they get it from the faucet, wish they had filtered water."
"The service was kind and efficient. We had 8 orders on an order, and we were able to go inside and order quickly. The prices are comparable to most other ice cream places in OBX, but this is homemade. I personally had a scoop of chocolate marshmallow and a scoop of cake batter on a waffle cone. It was very yummy. My boyfriend got a frozen sea salted double espresso caramel drink, and it was very good also. I would recommend coming here, and enjoying the surrounding antique shops, and I would enjoy this shop again."
"If you're looking for a spot where everything you eat is very good and moist. Not too sweet, just right. I also ordered a cake for my daughter quinceanera and cookies. I can't wait for that day."
"The donuts are very good. Fluffy. This place was not as expensive as other places. I tried the cinnamon sugar oat milk latte and it was good. My husband also had a latte, and we ordered a dozen donuts, which totaled $23 in total. We will definitely return."
"Busy Nothings took over the old Canvas Coffee space. I believe the owners of Canvas Coffee decided to focus on roasting so they sold their retail space and the owner of Busy Nothings Coffee Company took over. If you have been in Canvas Coffee's space before, it was a more contemporary vibe and the space featured various paintings of Virginia artist Dathane Kane. He has a very particular style called "Seeing Spaces". Busy Nothings has definitely kept the precious artwork and has incorporated their identity and personality to it (think British/Jane Eyre-esque). I couldn't imagine anyone getting rid of those pieces.- Parking -Street parking or a small lot across the street.- Noms & Sips - Busy Nothings continues to serve Canvas Coffee drinks, as well as selling their bags of coffee. They also kept some of their offerings like the Hedgehog latte (hazelnut and mocha). They have a small food menu that includes bagels, muffins, cakes from Pownd Cakes by Jen in Norfolk and handmade chocolates by Nancy's Candy Co.What I had:Hedgehog latte - yummy latte and whoever is doing the coffee art back there, BRAVO. Refer to my pics.Chocolate gluten free pound cake - Made by Pownd Cakes by Jen, I am a fan of this local business out of Norfolk. I must admit, the difference was very minor, but my palate having had experience to her products in the past, would have probably preferred the regular non gluten free version.Chocolate Overboard truffle - made by Nancy's Chocolate Co., this morsel is actually quite large for a chocolate, made so perfectly and so rich, I could only take a bite and have wrapped it up and saving it for later to take another bite. So delicious!- TLC - There were two baristas at the time of my visit and both very pleasant and wonderful. Even though the coffee shop is order and pay format, they brought my coffee and goodies to my table.Overall, love the charming addition of their personality to the space and the quality of the drinks have maintained with new ownership. They also have wifi and books to read if you need some new material (they are classics however). Enjoy, Friends and never stop exploring!"
"Nice little family run business in Virginia Beach. Great to pop in and grab a coffee or snack. Service was prompt and engaging."
"Quick and efficient staff on busy Wednesday morning. Order came out perfect. I appreciate my avocado toast actually being well toasted (I've gotten it soft elsewhere). Staff was very kind and fast to respond to any needs (water, napkins, etc.). We dined in and the establishment as a whole was clean."
"the kindest waitress ever! was so attentive and answered every question we had lol the french toast was okay.... never had it this way would do pancakes next time"
"This was my husband and i's first time trying a local place to us. He got the pulled pork sandwich, he said it was different, very unique, but loved it! I got the Cold plate with chicken salad, potato salad, pasta salad, fruit and to my surprise, the best sweet potato biscuit I have ever had. It was all so good!We can't wait to return to try something different on the menu. The only thing we didn't like, was that you had to pay up front, kind of like a cafeteria feel."
"Food was awesome !! Fajita Pita with avocado 4/5 a little on the spicy side North Pole Bowl 5/5 my sister suggested removing the mango and adding strawberries Shrimp taco 4/5 this was a week special I love the vibes the art is amazing and a cool way to support local artists. The employees are so nice and helpful I really appreciate great customer service.I would definitely recommend if you are interested in a more healthy temptation. So if you find yourself downtown Norfolk definitely check it out !!!"
"Another standout in the Norfolk area. This locally owned Italian restaurant has two employees. The owner chef's up authentic cuisine in view of the patrons as his partner manages the front of the house. Everything is housemade. Standouts include the Garlic Shrimp, Bolognese, and Lamb Chops. 4.4 stars"
"Two years later, and we're still absolutely in love with this place! Both locations offer a fantastic atmosphere, strong branding, and unique merchandise You're always greeted by amazing people. They are deeply committed to supporting our first responders, military, and local community. If you're a fan of flavored lattes or coffee with bold, infused flavors, this is your spot. We use their coffee at home and for large events at our church. Supporting local businesses is so important--so stop by and say hi to Amanda and the team! You won't be disappointed!"
"This is my first time coming to this doughnut shop. I would like to say the atmosphere is very cute, I like the seating area and the merchandise available. The costumer service was great and speedy. These doughnuts were on the pricey side, I hate to say it but for the price more effort should be put in for cleanliness and neatness and perhaps larger doughnuts.Taste wise the doughnuts themselves were fresh and soft, there's multiple flavors to choose from and you can get creative and build your own! As I did.***hate to say it***That pumpkin spice doughnut was NOT IT. I was expecting sweet pumpkin cream cheese frosting or even a pumpkin doughnut (since it was extra) it tasted like pumpkin from a can with cream cheese and I ordered 2 I was so disappointed. Also the cleanliness of the box could have been better. There was icing all over and around the box, very messy. And it wasn't busy..."
"We stopped here while on a family vacation. The location is right off the main road and easy to find. The staff was friendly and quick. We ordered caramel lattes decaf and they were tasty. If you are in need of a coffee, check this place out."
"A splash of coffee beanery, an entire section designated to tea, some baked goods, and lots and lots of merch available for purchase. This place, much like so many places here, is very unassuming on the outside, but when you walk in, your sensations are inundated with the choices! We walked in on a late Sunday afternoon for a quick pick-me-up and got the Heath Bar drink: the drink it was divine and refreshing (and lovingly sweet if you dig that sort of thing because I'm no coffee purist here, sorry), as was their spinach and cheese croissant that they kindly warmed up for me.Def worth a stop if you're in the area or are also in need of some caffeine."
"I happen to locate the Thirsty Frog today when hitting up another food truck. This truck features drinks of all sorts from great tasting smoothies to coffee.Owner Bob was manning the truck today as my kids were anxious to try them out. Bob was very patient and gave nice recommendations to the children. They ended up getting a Strawberry Smoothie and I forgot the other one darn it. They both enjoyed and Bob even gave them extra whip cream on top. I also sampled a Frozen Lemonade that was tasty. The truck features six signature drinks with catchy names like Feelin Froggy and Mellow Monkey at $6 a pop. He also offers coffee drinks including an expresso. Since I love coffee I really wish that I would have given one of them a try. Check out was smooth using a credit card. The best way to find out where the truck will be is to follow them on their facebook page https://www.facebook.com/TheThirstyFrogLLC. Bob provides updates of the trucks weekly locations. Bob provided me with a customer loyalty card. If you buy six drinks with a $3.50 value you can get any one FREE!I like what I saw and Bob was a really terrific guy. The operation was very clean and presented well. However, I need to see more of them to upgrade. I would absolutely like to try them again and sample more options off the drink menu. I recommend you give them a try, I think you will be pleased with the quality."
"New and Good store with hot coffee. Clean store and clean bathrooms. Friendly customer service. Genuinely just a really nice place. This was my first visit to this store since it was built. I remember when they started building it the last time I was on my way to the outer banks."
"I love the friendly faces and the tasty drinks. This combination goes a long way. Good customer service excels when you ask what should I get and your provided with options and a you can't go wrong assurance. I have come here a few times when in the area and it's never a disappointment. Hot fresh drinks and plenty of options on the board with seasonal varieties too. Seating available inside and outside."
"One of my favorite spots to grab breakfast in Williamsburg. My only issues is the price but, to be honest, it is worth the cost. The Bake Shop is as the name indicates. It is a bakery. They make their own bagels along with other delicious treats that are proudly displayed as you order. My go-to is always the Asiago bagel with the scallion and dill shmear. They are good about really loading up their bagels with lots of cream cheese. Outside of my normal go-to, their sandwiches are also great. You really can't go wrong with any of them but my personal favorite is The Burg. Word of warning - this place is very popular with the students. If you try and go here on a Saturday or Sunday morning around 10am when college is in session, expect to have a lengthy wait in line."
