"Went yesterday. Really liked they offered non alcoholic Piña coladas and strawberry daiquiri! I tried the vegetarian enchiladas w mushroom avocado n spinach. Yummy. Food was fine but they had 2 wifi networks called Jose tequilas and did not share any passwords when asked."
"The food is absolutely delicious! One of the few places in the area that actually puts eel sauce ON the rolls. I love that!!! The service for pick up is always fast and fresh. I haven't come in to dine, but the ambiance seems great for a night out or special occasions. This is my go-to spot for sushi regularly so I will be back!"

"This is now our favorite mexican restaurant. Big menu, We have been coming since they have been open and ALL the food has been great. I am impressed because they give you plenty of everything including meat. They don't hold back. Quality of everything is really fresh. The brightest guacamole and the crispiest lettuce. My favorite part. EVERYTHING comes to you HOT. They bring you plenty of salsa and one time we ran out . Our server quickly brought us more. Friendliest Staff. Very attentive and upbeat happy energy. The servers are awesome about explaining the menu if you have questions. Communication with all the staff is really wonderful. There are so many really good drinks. They have a drink menu and the menu is huge. So are the drinks. LOVE LOVE LOVE the drinks. My personal fave is the Las Palmas "Coco" Margarita. Lovely to look at with all the fruit lining the rim.Inside is beautiful with Neon lights at the bar and beautiful paintings on the walls. Accents of mexican pottery everywhere. Very colorful. We love it. We even had friends come from Indiana for a visit and all 14 of them loved it. Service was spectacular that night too. Even with a big table of big eaters. They kept the drinks filled all night."
"Twist is a great experience for drinks and appetizers or drinks and dinner. Fun time all around. My friend and I were there for several hours catching up so alot of dishes and drinks were ordered. Everything was incredible. Our waiter was very attentive, funny and knowledgeable on the drinks and the menu. I would recommend this establishment for first dates, hanging out with friends, and after work drinks. We sat in the bar area but there is a more quiet and secluded dining area for date nights."
"Came on a wed night - hostess wasn't to be seen so sat ourselves..seemed to be a theme. Pineapple crush was more a pina colada in a hollowed out pineapple. Barria was good but the hamburger was meh. So overall the barria burger is like a 6 out of 10. The chicken fajitas came out hot but it's just basic fajitas."
"** Speaking only for Game Night Tuesdays! :D $2.50 wells for happy hour until 9PM?! COUNT ME IN. It's also a taco night~ But really, the charm of this place is N64 games set-up: Smash on one side and Mario Kart on the other. I wasn't really... around for N64, but I love the console regardless. Man, do those joy sticks do work on your thumbs though. It's awesome. Get drunk. Play games. There's also robot boxing available! Another thumb-heavy game, lol. Connect Four is set up, and it's a quick round of a 1 v 1 if you want bragging rights against your friend(s) for the night. Cards Against Humanity with expansions are available, and that game is hilarious. Operation is missing some pieces, but it's still difficult af. Jenga is the best group game to play drunk, often with the rules of "loser takes a shot." The bartender that's been there the past couple times is awesome! He tries to remember your order, and he's super accommodating! He's quick and friendly. Even if you wanted to enjoy happy hour alone and watch some TV, this is the guy you want behind the bar. He cares about the customers and is experienced in his field."
"Had a great morning breakfast with my wife and a co worker. The breakfast was so good!!! The vibe was relaxed and the service was quick and pleasant. I recommend the chicken sandwich with the egg!! And the buffalo cauliflower bites. Great choice for appetizers. Will definitely come back and try more options on the menu."
"We made reservations for tonight. When we sat down I told our server I was allergic to seeds and nuts. For appetizer we ordered pimento cheese. Out came crackers covered in seeds. I sent them back and soup came out with more seeded crackers. It was loud in there. People who worked there wore clothes I would clean the house in....the atmosphere did not marry with the menu. Food was great but everything else did not add up for a date night nor NOT allergy friendly... be on guard."
"Pretty good food. Might be a bit overpriced but overall not bad. I would recommend sticking to the raw bar items if you're looking for seafood. The crab dip was good!"
"Nice little location that just opened up. We started off with the hummus appetizer and it was ok. Nothing super special and not very flavorful. My wife ordered the fried chicken sandwich with fries, my daughter ordered the wings and I got the pulled pork nachos. The wings turned out to be the best thing we ordered. Everything else was a little on the bland side and there was very little pulled pork on the nachos but if your bite actually included BBQ sauce it was tasty but other than that, ehh.We did not come here for drinks though, so if that is part of your the rest of it would probably be better."
"Heirloom restaurant in Virginia Beach did not disappoint! We did their happy hour menu and got several things. The food was good quality and great flavor. What stood out was the service. When plates were done they were cleared. My water was always full. I never needed anything for more than a minute. I am impressed. Atmosphere was good too. I love the plants."
"I attended the Junior League's Brunched event held at The Harbor Club this past weekend. What a really great venue. It's bright... But we were there from 11am to 2pm with a lot of amazing natural light to fill the place. The venue is quite spacious and beautiful inside. I was reminded of looking out over the water when it was a Hooter's several years ago... A much better use of the space now. Plenty of seating with lounge areas, the bar, and the outdoor patio overlooking the Elizabeth River.Top tip: sit outside if the weather is gorgeous. There aren't a lot of views this good in Norfolk. On nice days, like when I was just there, they open the doors that allow for a nice breeze into the place.TVs fill the place throughout that are connected to one central system, a good feature for events, as the Junior League had a rolling slideshow of all their sponsors.I didn't interact too much with The Harbor Club staff although they were helpful with getting us drinks. A couple of folks kept pretty busy keeping the place clean as people were trying foods throughout the venue.Definitely a great place to host an event for 100+ people."

Oh my god... the drinks were great, we came in on Hallows Eve, I ordered the chile relleno from our server Elio ... fantastic service/ the food was even better. I've been in WA, NV and VA... how does Virginia have the best Chile Relleno & best service??? Thank you Elio! I would post a picture of the food, but I ate it so fast!

This is a nice clean and good restaurant to visit for lunch or dinner. Nubia is great bar tender who's very attentive and spot on when it comes to taking orders, mixing drinks and exhibit good customer service. I'm always pleased when I visit. It would be ideal to offer an happy hour people would be more willing to come frequently for a good discount drink/cocktail!

Recently visited Twist Martini with a friend for Taco Tuesday and had a wonderful experience! A few people were seated in the bar area but it wasn't crowded at all. Our server quickly greeted us and was super friendly. I wanted to start with the Spicy Mango Margarita, which was on the Taco Tuesday menu for $5, but she mentioned they were out of mango so she suggested a Spicy Strawberry Margarita and it tasted great! Since the tacos were such a great price and all sounded so good, I chose the Jamaican Jerk, Twisted Tiger Shrimp, Crunchy Catfish and Blacken Salmon Tacos. The tacos were extremely flavorful and tasted delicious. My favorite was the Jamaican Jerk and the Blacken Salmon! The tacos weren't overly stuffed but four definitely had me full. We wanted to end the night with Espresso Martinis and Beignets but were told they weren't selling their Beignets anymore so we just ended the night with their Espresso Martini which were strong but very good.Overall, I've definitely been missing out on Taco Tuesday at Twist. I believe their taco menu changes weekly so I will definitely be returning to try their other amazing tacos! Definitely stop in on a Tuesday and try them out! You will not be disappointed!

There is a new oceanfront restaurant on the horizon and it's the sister, brother, cousin to Oceans 14.This Mexican cuisine restaurant is located right off the Virginia Beach Oceanfront strip. This used to be the hotel's (Best Western) restaurant, but the owners of Oceans 14 has welcomed Oceans Ole as the new home.My dear and I dined here last night as the restaurant welcomed us to their second soft opening. In total, eight of us dined and had a great time. The restaurant is new, the staff is new... therefore pack your patience. Our server, Joe was a pleasure! He suggested drinks and all he suggested were tasty!I love a yummy classic margarita and if you feel the same, try the margarita tradicional . I was feeling adventurous, therefore, I opted for a spicy margarita, spiced lycheerita. And then I went down the tropical road and opted for the coconut margarita (light on the milk for me) and it was really good.If not for the food, I would return just to drink! The restaurant features a Tequila Tasting ($25) as well. Tequila is my liquor of choice! Now the food... I had the fajitas, but I was very plain jane last night, but I usually am when it comes to Mexican. I'll take a chicken or beef taco with red sauce and jalapenos and I'm good. The food did not have much seasoning, but when sprinkled the siracha... that was the kick it needed.Others at the table enjoyed their meal as well. Plates were empty :) that's always a good sign. This restaurant will feature live music and/or a DJ perhaps. Renovations are still underway, but I see this as an establishment that will definitely bring the crowd in.I noticed a senorita making fresh tortillas in the back... so rad!Parking... there are garages nearby as well as street parking. While we visited on a Thursday evening, street parking was available across the street... pay at the meter (3 hours max)We are looking forward to returning soon.Have fun and enjoy life!

Burgers AND booze AND bass --Oh my! Venue 112 has become my favorite place to go for a night out (or honestly, just some killer food). All of my Yelp Elites know that on top of CA-ing for Yelp, I spent my days being a bar rep for eons and THIS PLACE is where we always got our late night fuel. Seriously, the specials they run here are insane (like, the quality is out of this world and on a spaceship). 'Twas crazy to me to find gourmet grub at a nightclub --but here it is!I even found myself attracted to this place on my nights off. Have you seen the crowd?! THIS is where the beautiful people are. Young, flirty, and dynamic crowd ready to party. The energy in this place is INSANE, whether you're here on a Thursday or a Saturday. Also, I've found that this is the most jumpin' spot on a Monday (yeah, Monday's are partying?!).The Pork Chop special (Sunday/Monday) and the Prime Rib Special are AMAZING --action-packed with flavor in every bite. And they have AYCE Crab Legs & Shrimp on Thursday (my faaaaave) and it's significantly cheaper than Captain George's up the road. Bravo! My absolutely favorite place to come for the food, have great service, and stay for the party.

We were camping at the KOA nearby and stopped by for breakfast based on other Yelp reviews. Loved it so much we came back a second time before hitting the road. The vibe is friendly and warm. The space is bright, and has just the right amount of buzz with music and conversation. We really enjoyed the comfortable (and clean!) booths lining the windows and every dish ordered was on point. Tried and loved the Benny & The Grits (epic) and the Chicken Biscuit Stack (also epic), coffee was good, our kiddo loved the smiley face pancakes, and there are plenty of offerings for vegan and diabetic diets. Eating here feels like a big breakfast hug ^_^

This was a random pick by the girl freind. Had no idea what we were in for. We were warmly greeted and invited in (despite being in our full motorcycle gear). We had no reservations and it only took them a few minutes to get us a table. The Server Ray was incredible, he was young but knew his job to a T. I had decided on a pasta dish, until Ray revealed the specials. I had Elk before, so I knew I had to try it. This version was easily one of the best plates ever put in front of me. The super rich and buttery elk contrasted against a hardly spiced hash/broccoli was perfection. The Elk was perfectly cooked. If I get a last meal, this is it.Add this to world class service from the entire staff and you have a dining experience on par with the best of the best! Some will say this is expensive. I say for what you get, this place is a bargain (if you're after an experience to remember). We will be back! Thanks Again!

"Amazing food and decor. The art flows through out. There is an amazing motif that encompasses framed art and murals. I went simple with the rib eye. It was amazing. The greens almost overshadowed the steak. Not to be missed. Cocktails are on point. Don't miss the old fashioned that features Japanese whiskey."
"First thing, the entrance is on the water side not the street side.Second, make reservations for brunch.Third, enjoy! Cocktails are good, and the food was delicious. We had the lobster french toast and the breakfast empanadas and both were great."
"Nice atmosphere, but the front of house service time was absolutely insane. 1 hour until food arrived at the table, roughly 40 minutes for the kitchen to push it out. From the look of it, they seem very understaffed.I couldn't tell if there was only one person in the kitchen or not, but she also seemed to be waiting tables. If you're understaffed, make sure to not take on more tables than able. The food was good but not memorable."
"While I'm very skeptical of small town restaurants, Robles Cantina was not only wonderful & friendly service - but impressive food as well. The manager was quite attentive and was working alongside the servers cleaning & bussing tables. Their menu was quite lengthy with options from different flavored margaritas - Dragon Fruit with Tajin Rim (50% off happy hour]to burgers, half off appetizers (Crab Cake Sliders), and their steak fajita that melted in my mouth. Overall, I had a wonderful experience here and would definitely recommend to locals & people passing through. Great service, wonderful food, and my dad couldn't get enough of the salsa! Haha"
"This is our second time here, the place is new and the staff are super friendly and attentive. The pictures are from the first visit about a week ago. Food still top notch! Love it here already! I ordered the Salad Tex the first time; Salad w fajita style chicken, shrimp, steak and veggies! Perfect seasoning! This time I ordered the shrimp fajitas, both times I requested a small side of fresh guacamole, absolutely delicious! My husband ordered the Philly Steak burrito each time and loved it both visits. Keep up the excellent work guys!!! Awesome Place!"
"Just wanted to add that we stopped in again Friday and soooo delish! I had the French dip sandwich great flavors. My husband ordered something from the special for that day the catfish sandwich I believe. He said it was extremely good!"
"Lovely and classy place to get a drink and catch up with friends. I highly recommended. Great service and staff. Marla made a yummy sweet serjnity drink."
"Fried brussels sprout appetizer (3.5/5) - honey vinaigrette added a nice sweetness but I suspect also messed with the crispiness. The 'sprouts were deeply deep fried so I expected them crispy and tender but they were a bit more soggy and al denteSteak frites (4/5) - good flavor on the steak and great fries. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. I asked the steak to be med rare and it ended up being closer to med well, but the meat was still not too chewy. Fries fish (3.5/5) - standard fried cod. Batter was nicely golden brown but the fish was a little dry and left some flavor to be desired. Bread pudding (5/5) - an outstanding dessert. With the vanilla ice cream accompaniment, the bread pudding was a warm melt-in-your-mouth treat that made me forget about the brussels sprouts for a moment. Not overly sweet either, and a decent portion. Well done!Strawberry and peach ice cream (4.5/5) - another great dessert, the seasonal flavors of strawberry and peach blended together for a unique and very pleasant taste. Mostly strawberry but the additions of peach bits in this house-made ice cream tied the flavors together. I just wish it was a little strongerService/atmosphere (5/5) - great porch seating with screen doors and all. Friendly southern hospitality, all total about as good as it gets. i decided to round this one up to 5 stars for the outstanding desserts and service as well as the decent value."
"I've always heard good things about Gershwin's so I looked forward to the opportunity to try it out for myself. I sat at the bar with one other person. This was on a Sunday evening so it wasn't busy. We were quickly seated and served. There's a pretty good mocktail selection. I asked the waitress which one she preferred and she suggested the Cinderella. It was okay. Nothing particularly special. I'll try something different next time I'm there. However, the crab mac and cheese was on another level! Definitely one of the best restaurant mac and cheeses I've ever had. Perfect flavor and generous with the crab meat. It's on the appetizer menu so I don't wasn't expecting it to be so good. I'll definitely be back for it specifically!"
"It has been a minute since Sophia and I dined here. When it comes to finely made pizza, they deliver. Not only did we dine in, a few people from our meetup group joined us where we were able to snag a table in the back for a semi-private dinner (a group of 9 were there but were pretty casual). Would this bring back good times or leave us with utter dissappointment?Walking in, we were able to get seated along with the rest of the party. Inside, it had a nice crowd but not overwhelming. And the whole place looked spotless. After a few minutes, we were all ready to order. I selected one of their newly added items, the Thai Me Up pizza. It consisted of ginger wasabi peanut sauce, chicken, carrots, red onion, shredded mozzarella, cilantro and chives topped with a sriracha swirl. This was pretty good. Each ingredient came together nicely. To have the peanut sauce as the binder was a great call. It did have some spice as expected but not overpowering at all. And the rest of the group really liked their dishes. When you have great company enjoying conversations along with their meal, it's a win-win. And I can't say enough about how tentative our waitress was with us. You know we'll be back here again :)"
"We came to visit a friend and she's highly recommended this restaurant. We have never heard of an AYCE sushi restaurant (besides Sushi-On, which is a buffet) and were all excited to try it. And let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint. The staff are super polite and kind, the side dishes we ordered came out nice and hot, and the sushi rolls themselves were beautifully done. The quality of their fish is my boyfriend is super picky about white tuna and was pleasantly surprised by how soft and buttery theirs was. The restaurant was also very clean and well kept, and the decorations are beautiful and intriguing. I love the little pergola they have in the corner and love the cute tree lamps over the bar area. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!"
"Arrived in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday and was seated quickly. The inside is pretty cool with a Mexican party theme and decorations.I was surprised there were not more yelp reviews and pictures, so I went on Google and they have a ton. The food is really good from beginning to end, and have no complaints. This was our first time here and we both agreed to come back. The service was awesome, different people came by to check on us brought more chips and salsa and offered fresh limes. The folks seem genuinely happy to have us in their restaurant. I strongly recommend Mi Cancun and will definitely return. Cheers!"
"So I was at the golf course on business on a Sunday when I caught a glance of the brunch menu at The Corner Bistro. Everything look pretty decent and the prices were very reasonable. So I left the club and went home to grab my family to take them to brunch. We sat out on the patio and enjoyed the lovely weather and my wife and I sipped on a couple of mimosas. My kids had chicken tenders and fries while I ordered up a 6oz cheese burger topped with bacon and a fried egg. The food, drinks, the prices and scenery were on point. We loved it. Definitely a little diamond in the ruff sitting their in Hampton. BTW, they have this house sauce that I used fir dipping my fries. CRACK!!"
"My wife and I just enjoyed two yummy meals at Surfrider. I had the fish and chips that brimmed with crispy planks and my wife had a womderful blackend seafood pasta. We highly recommend."
"Everything was super amazing and what a gorgeous little spot in the heart of Phoebus! Food was so so good, and service was perfection."
"A few good recent visits under the new name...but my understanding ownership never changed hands, but management did. Parking is challenged on weekends. The dining room is comfy and same as previous. Fantastic service with free warm chips and two types of sauce. Don't be shy about asking for more. The guacamole is respectable. Entrees of burritos combos yum. The big boy margaritas will kick your ass and worthy of the 4th star. Hours on weekend have expanded to 1030."
"Cold brew was great! They had an issue getting the cold brew machine to work but they figured it out. Really liked the sleek look outside and inside. Staff was super friendly. Left off one star for the review because it was missing that coffee shop element of community. I mean if you are a coffee person seeking out new coffee shops all the time you know what I am talking about! That feel you get when the locals walk in and everyone knows them. The feel of family.... This place didn't have that. But coffee was great! The ham and cheese croissant was spot on. It was clean and staff was nice! Would go again."
"After dinner we stopped in this beautiful bar on the way out for a night cap. Service was excellent. The seating is cozy, comfy, and intimate. The entire place is simply beautiful! It's similar to a lobby bar, but slightly off from the lobby. Highly recommend stopping in for a drink!"
"We loved this place!! It's an upscale Latin restaurant with a modern flair. You have an option for valet or street parking. We chose valet as it was a birthday celebration. The overall decor and the bar areas were beautifully designed. The booths were very comfortable as well. We had a wonderful server and a trainee. The drinks and guacamole appetizers were perfectly prepared. Our entrees didn't need any seasoning and our food was cooked to the correct temperature. The chocolate crème brûlée was out of this world phenomenal!! It wasn't overly sweet as it was a dark chocolate base. Everything was lovely we will definitely go again!! Note: I did try uploading these photos in order, but for whatever reason the app is not doing it."
"Wings and plantains 10/10! The Rasta pasta is also good and little spicy. Plus they have hookah and reasonably priced drinks."
"Went here with my wife while we were on vacation last week. It was busy on the night we went but we got lucky and we're seated right away. We really enjoyed the tuna appetizer special and the hush puppies. My wife got the mixed grill and really enjoyed it and I got the chefs pasta which was also really tasty. It was a big serving, with 5 shrimp and 5 scallops, so I saved most of the pasta for the next day! Again, we had a really great time and would love to go back if we're ever back in the area!"
"We have now been to 411 Eleven York 3 times for their Valentine's Day Menu, and once again they did not fail to impress. It was incredible. The service by Reagan was fantastic and the food was just as good. We were lucky enough to be seated in the quiet and lovely bed and breakfast they operate next to the main entrance. We had the fire place next to us with just a few 2-top tables in the room. I, and my wife, do not necessarily celebrate Valentine's Day, but we do enjoy the creative menus that the nicer restaurants provide on that day. If you haven't been to Four Eleven York, it really is a must-go-to place in Hampton Roads. We have been many times and are always happy when we leave."
