Wilson B. "This has been my spot since about 2008. One of my favorite life memories is coming here one Sunday afternoon with my cousin, eating in the car followed by us taking nap right then and there.Since moving away, I always try to stop by Dragon Palace whenever I'm home. This time, to bring everything full-circle, fell on a Sunday. Dragon Palace is the place where I fell in love with Orange Chicken. I don't know if I have ever tried their General Tso's or the Sesame Chicken, my two back-up plans because I was always satisfied with what I ordered. So this was a going to be a stick-to-the-script type of night.I placed my order and decided to step outside and take in the brisk fall air and my surroundings. I couldn't remember which spot Willie's CDs, Records and Tapes used to occupy. That's where all my money went in 1998. Twenty years later, I bore witness to many empty parking spaces and felt my hunger gain strength. After waiting a little bit longer my food was ready and I was on my way. I used to like buying my food to-go because it would be piping hot when ordered, meaning they made it fresh. By the time I got home it was still hot so I began to dig in. I like how Dragon Palace fries their chicken on the hard side. I have been to many-a place with chewy chicken and I have come to despise it. The thing that was most striking for me was how sweet my Orange Chicken was. It may have been a couple of years since my last visit but it is apparent that my palate has shifted significantly in the past 10 years. A little bit of sweetness goes a long way with me now. It was a great trip down memory lane but I guess you really can't go home again."

This mom and pop chinese take out restaurant is located in the ghettos but i assume that its a neighborhood to go place since there was a hug line when i came in. Although they only accept cash.... their prices are cheap for good quality asian food. They also have lunch specials from Monday to Friday for $5 ++which includes a drinkI ordered Their Egg Roll which is like filipino lumpia packed with delicious meat. And their egg drop soup and pancit was amazing. Lastly, the people who work there were pretty nice too. Definitely liking the mom and pop vibe of this place with cheap home cook meal despite not being in a nice neighborhood. Two thumbs up!"

Maria C. "I usually do not order take out at work... but today, the ladies were ordering Chinese and I decided to join them. I also had Chinese yesterday, so I was curious to try a different spot, but still order my norm... broccoli and garlic sauce. The order was placed and the delivery was at the office what seemed like 20 mins or less. Fast service... absolutely! The restaurant offers lunch specials that includes your choice of rice and soup... but I opted out and just order a small entree from the normal menu. It's a better deal to order the special if you are ordering during the allotted time frame, but I did not want the extra. My meal was delicious! I am a fan! While this is not the best I have had... if it safe to say I will order from here again. I cannot vouch for any other meal, but the ladies did say their meal was yummy too.My meal is simple... broccoli with garlic sauce and they also included a carrot or two.Check it out if you are in the area.Have fun and enjoy life :)"

I was seated promptly by the server and ordered hot sour soup and hunan string beans. Let me tell you that soup was so hot, fresh and delicious! By far the best I've ever had, 10 stars!!! String beans were good too! Service was prompt. The only negative thing I have to say is my server was young and very socially awkward but that won't detain me from returning for that stellar soup!"

I've been going to Golden City since I moved to the area and they have been nothing but nice, hardworking people that make great Chinese food at an affordable price. Usually I call in my order and it is ready by the time I get there. Their dinner combos are the best: Main entree with pork fried rice and an egg roll for roughly $7. I'm obsessed with their boneless spare ribs cause the sauce the perfect balance of sweet and savory. Their portion sizes are great and they even come in a plastic container that I like to reuse for meal prepping! I'll always come back to support their business!"

The egg rolls are really good, better then the spring rolls. I really liked the crab ragoon but my wife thought it was sweet. You get a lot if filling and they came nice and hot. The rest of the food was hot and delicious. We love the garlic sauce, nice and spicy. The orange and general tso actually have pieces of chicken rather then just breading. The shrimp in the lo mein were tender and perfectly cooked. It is easy making the 1 hour drive for this quality of food. If you like greasy, flavorful and hot Chinese food this should be your new spot."

What was intriguing about the place was that they had variety on their menu. Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese, Cantonese etc...Upon walking in, we were greeted and seated quickly. Our server was very attentive to us as well. For appetizer I got the Crab Rangoon and ordered some sushi, Volcano Roll and Yummy Roll. Everything was delicious! The coolest part is that my order came to me on a robot server! I've seen videos of them on the internet but never seen one in person before. I thought that was pretty cool."

I chose the fried rice and the hot and sour soup. The shrimp was big a plump and not tiny baby shrimp. It was flavorful and there was enough sauce on both the shrimp and the broccoli. The fried rice needed some soy sauce and the soup was amazing. It's my fav soup and sometimes places f it up, but they didn't. I approve. I'll definitely come back here for lunch! But with menus being similar in such places, the food quality isn't always the same. The food at Wong's isn't too oily or salty. We had General Tso's tofu (off the menu for some reason) and Sezchuan shrimp. Tofu is very big cubes. In general all portions way bigger than normal. Good quality shrimp for the price, comes with onion, cabbage and an excessive amount of celery. You order and pay at the front. A few outdoor tables if you want to face the avenue. Main course prices from $9 and up. A nice change from all the fried food along the beachfront."

It's in a strip mall but don't let that deter you, the place is clean and I've never had any issues concerning my food or the customer service I receive when I'm physically there or placing my order over the phone. With that being said it's your standard Chinese take out joint with the standard choices."

The thing about this location though is that there is a little bit longer than other Chinese takeout restaurants. One time I was the only customer and I waited over a half an hour to receive my food. There is also no public restroom which is a big gripe for me. If I'm going to spend my money, let me use the bathroom. Kin's Wok is your average, everyday hole in the wall type Chinese restaurant. The service is good when you ordering in person and the place is clean. All of the food is cooked to order. Looking at their website, they've won the Daily Press Best Chinese Restaurant almost every year for the past decade. We don't come often but when we do, it's a pleasant experience. The egg roll is made of shrimp and chicken and you get actual little shrimp. The egg drop soup has rice in it which is interesting. It also seems to be chicken broth based and may not be as thick as other egg drop soups. My hubby had the tofu curry and enjoyed it. I had something with shrimp, chicken, pork with vegetables and a brown sauce on a sizzle hot plate. I tried to look up the menu online and didn't find it but it was called something like Subgum War Pa.They are open for takeout and dine in. Not sure about delivery. Amber D. "I am truly not knocking you wonderful fellow yelpers out there, but wondering how there are so many 4-5 star reviews out there on this place?! The fact it showcases "pizza, subs, wings, and Chinese" should alert most that this is definitely a catch all with a toss up of which item of food may or may not be successful. We tried this place per the kids request, and happening to be near this place on the way to somewhere else. I am adventurous (as you can tell) and the write ups didn't sound too bad...and well that's kind of how it went, "not too bad"One child went with pizza, and the other with Chinese. It's definitely more of a order and pickup sort of place. We ate in, and the longer I was there, the more I wondered why I came here in the first place because it seemed that sketch establishment whise. Not even a bathroom?! I won't be coming back, but the people seemed nice enough...not friendly or accommodating...but not super rude either. The place itself makes you wonder what's happening back in the kitchen, and that's just never a good thing."
