"I've had this place bookmarked forever and was so excited to go! It's a small cute quaint spot and definitely gives you a mom and pop vibe. The staff is helpful and patience as to the questions you may have about the menu. I heard about the wings so that is what the hubs and I knew that we had to get. But ugh...the wings were fried a little too hard and the sauce we had didn't really taste good. I also had the salmon Po boy and it was ok. Didn't realize he had cheese on it, so I would definitely omit that next time. But overall, they have a menu that will get your tummy full."
"New customer. Was greeted by Marlon. I ordered steak eggrolls, Cajun wings and cheesy cheeseburger. Food was made fresh and delicious. Good portion sizes. Green apple lemonade was very flavorful."

"The boil bags were amazing. I got the lobster tails and snow crab. Everyone else got shrimp and crab except my daughter. She got chargrilled oyster. She said they were to die for. The gumbo was also outstanding. The music was great. The staff great too! I have been in VB 3.5 years and just found this gem! We will be bag again. Oh and the check with drinks, 5 gumbos and 1 Cesar salad, 5 boil bags, the oysters and coconut shrimp came to $211.00. You cannot beat that with my boil bag having 4 lobster tails and a 1/2 pound of snow crab."
"Great spot for watching the games. Bartenders are really amazing, vey attentive never had to ask for service."
"I love going here. And right now for the rib special for their 25th anniversary? You can't beat it. Server I had last time was dope and helped me with everything including a survey that got me some free dessert, and the place was a nice volume so my mother and father were able to watch the game while also enjoying a nice evening out and still talk to each other. Go if you love some ribs, chicken wings, or just some good smoked meats at a pretty reasonable price."
"Ordered and chose to pay before getting seated. Great hometown atmosphere and really good food!Husband had the cheesiest omelette with sausage, mushrooms and onions and said it was tops! I had their Bacon, eggs, potatoes and fruit. It was all so good and fresh! I had the coffee that was a step above also! Definitely recommend and hope to return next time I get back this way. Nebraska's a trip."
"Special thank you to the amazing customer service at Lendy's tonight!!! Since I was in the mood for wings and have always heard of how great Lendy's wings were, I placed an online order for 24 wings, Jalapeño Poppers and Cajun Fries. Before processing the order, I called and asked how many sauces were allowed to be selected for a 24 count of wings and was told I could receive up to four sauces, 6 wings per sauce. Unfortunately, the online ordering site only allowed for me to order 12 wings at a time and didn't allow for the selection of multiple sauces so I placed a note in the order asking for the additional sauces. Because I understand how the "notes" can be overlooked for online orders, I called back to let them know I was only able to select one sauce per 12 count but that I placed the additional sauce requests in the notes area. I picked up my order and unfortunately, I had 12 wings with the Suicide sauce and 12 wings with the Garlic Parmesan sauce. In the notes, I requested 6 Suicide, 6 Garlic Parmesan, 6 BBQ and 6 Cajun. I called back to inform them that the order was wrong and the lady was extremely understanding. She provided me with a way to receive a refund or offered to make me all new wings. I preferred the option to receive new wings since I really wanted to taste the different wing sauces and the wings were ready in 10-15 mins. The wings were absolutely amazing!!!! The Suicide sauce and the BBQ were my absolute favorite. The Cajun fries were seasoned wonderfully and the Jalapeño Poppers were very good! Thank you Lendy's for quickly correcting the issue and providing exceptional customer service! I will definitely be returning!"
"Hubby and I was looking for a good spot to get some chicken from. So we decided to give this place a try and babeee let me tell you this place did not disappoint. We got the garlic spicy chicken wings, onion rings, bulgogi rice and vegetables bowl and the bulgogi mandu Korean dumplings. Everything was so so good cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The chicken was nice and crispy just how I like it. The customer service was excellent everyone kept checking on us to make sure we were doing good. The place is nice inside. The ambiance was perfect. This place is definitely a must try. We will definitely be back soon."
"First timers! This location in Chesapeake, it's definitely a good one. The decorations inside are gorgeous, very cute place. You could order your food from Computer screens and pay without even having to speak to anyone. There is a button that you can press for someone to come out and speak with you if need be, which I like But a little standoffish too. The food is definitely five stars, absolutely delicious, my husband and I both got sandwiches. I got the katsu he got the CNR chicken sandwich. It was definitely very fresh, as well as the fries, and you can add a fry and soda for an extra two dollars. The one thing that I didn't like was the fact that when I asked to switch my cheeses to provolone rather than the American, it seem like it was a problem, which I know this food can't be premade so I just wasn't understanding that at all. Not everybody likes American cheese, and the sandwich I wanted had American cheese on it. Also, when we asked some questions about the menu and just different things of that nature, it didn't seem like the woman who came out, really knew how to answer our questions about the business, which just kind of made me uncomfortable, but all in all we will be back, and that is solemnly because the food is delicious!"
"Visited my old home, Virginia Beach, again this weekend! This is a local's favorite! It's a sports bar. And the staff always know everyone! There's always something fun going on. From all types of live music, to DJs playing the jams, to karaoke and trivia, you can find fun here. Even more when the weather is warm. The wings are great, but the pizza is still my favorite pizza hands down anywhere... it's the sauce. See for yourself!"
"Friends introduced us to Wing King a few months ago and it was great the first time. Came back a second and third time and it was okay. Wings were dry and overcooked; like a solid 7 out of 10. THOUGH, their ranch!!! 12/10. If anything, I would only go for their ranch. Service is great, ranch is great, just wish the wings were better."

This little hole in the wall is a wonderful place to taste old fashioned good food. We got the 5 spice wings and the spicy chicken sandwich with a side of fries. The fries were fresh cut and homemade. The spicy chicken sandwich was good as well. Not crazy spicy but very tasty. I thought the wings were good, very flavorful type of dry rub. I am a more wing sauce type of gal. After spending years in Buffalo; a bit of a wing snob. These definitely passed my snobbiness even if they weren't my favorite cup of tea. The staff was kind with generous portions and they always had a steady stream of patrons like you'd imagine for a hole in the wall. I did take off one star because of convenience to customers. They only sold bottled water and beverages which doesn't go too well if you're just looking for a good old fashion cup of ice water to combat the semi hot wings. I hope they'll consider adding a water fountain or pitcher for those who choose to dine in

First off, service is great. Loud happy workers greet everyone as soon as they walk in. They take your order while you're still waiting in line, so they can get it going before you even get up to the register to pay. Considering there is usually a line because the food is so good, getting the wings in the fryer asap is appreciated. The food is out of this world good. My only complaint is everything is good. Usually at a restaurant I find my favorite item and then that's what I always order there. I can't seem to do that here. I get something different every time to go along with my wings, which I also have swapped flavors and enjoyed every time I come. I've sent a couple cats from work here and they thank me the next time they see me. Now you will too! Go get some.

Looking for seafood? Come to Boil Bay! The ambiance is great. The decor reminds me of being in the water with sharks and fish everywhere. I ordered the "pick your own" meal. I ordered shrimp with no heads and a lb of crab legs. I opted out of corn (sorry, mom no vegetables for me lol) and got eggs and potatoes. I ordered all this with the mild Boil Bay sauce. The meal was great! If you take anything from this review, remember this-- ORDER EGGS WITH YOUR BAG! The reason why they do not have 5 stars, is because the wait staff was a little slow. Now, I believe it's because they did have a big party in here, but I had to ask for refills, crackers, and butter. The butter was separated so I ended up not using it. 7/10000 recommend.

Of course I forgot to take photos! But the portion sizes are great! We all took home leftovers. The waitress was very attentive. The vibe was nice and family oriented. The only downside was that they charged extra for any sides of condiments. We asked for ranch and honey mustard and were charged a $1.00 for a little cup of them. And their homemade honey mustard and ranch were not good. The honey mustard was runny and the ranch just had an off taste.

Love the Bar!The bartenders are great, very attentive and friendly. They always know what you want even if you come in once a week. The food is DELICIOUS. The wings... ABSOLUTELY delicious. No other wings in all of Virginia compare. The burger, just recently had for the first time was delicious although I did ask for well done and got medium, I didn't mind so much as it was still delicious.

Last weekend, Sophia and I headed here for lunch for Newport News Restaurant week. This here is well-known in the area for breakfast and lunch dishes so we decided to check it out for ourselves. When we got settled, we were ready to place our order, but there was a surprise. They didn't have any of ingredients handy for the selected dishes due to a misunderstanding as to when the specials were ending. At first, we were gonna leave since none of the dishes were available. But with us a bit hungry, we decided to stay. We decided to just be simple and order their homestyle cheeseburgers. I ordered it with the usual veggies with provolone cheese and mustard with a side of fries. I gotta admit this was very delicious. The patty was well cooked and veggies were plenty. The slight negative was the fries weren't seasoned but tasted good. You can't go wrong with ketchup by your side.Even though we were bummed by no NNRW meals available, this made up for it big time. Very good food and great service....can't ask for anything else. We will be back soon to check out their breakfast selections. Till next time :)

Oh my word, this place hit the spot! We were out here on a work trip, and someone had mentioned that this place has great wings. I'm not a wing person, but they have other stuff on the menu so we figured we'd try it out. We came in a pretty large group (maybe 9 of us?) and they were accommodating to get us seated together. The place had a great, local atmosphere and most people in the bar seemed to know each other. The bartenders were super fun and both were absolutely hilarious. We really enjoyed our time chatting with them! Lendy's was a breath of fresh air. We had previously been eating over-priced food from food trucks or oceanfront restaurants that charged a lot for average quality. All in our group agreed this was the best place we'd been to thus far and remained a trip favorite. Chill, casual, tasty, simple - it was exactly what we were looking for. I had the fried catfish dinner and it was delightful. I ate the whole thing and it was pretty sizeable. Super reasonable prices, too. If we end up back in town, Lendy's will be first on the list.

"It has been a long time since we stopped here for a meal. A year to be exact. During the pandemic, Sophia and I ordered takeout and most of our food was pretty good. Since we decided to rest and not travel outside the Peninsula, why not stop by for some Saturday lunch? Both of us placed our orders online, which is actually new since the last time we came here. Easy and quick. Both of us picked wing combos with myself choosing boneless (Korean Spicy BBQ and Caribbean Citrus w/fries) and a soft drink. Walking inside, I noticed they have tables available again for seating. Last time, each seat was up indicating that it was takeout only. Anyway, service was quick and both our orders were ready. The wings....thumbs up. The wings may have been a little overcooked but each had flavor with both spices and weren't that spicy at all. The crinkle fries you definitely can have as a side and there was plenty of ranch dressing for everything. Sophia enjoyed her bone-in wings and saved them for leftovers.A very nice return to this wing spot on a lovely day. Why it took us so long to come back is anyone's guess but I can say we will be back like before. Till next time :)"
"Food was good, just stopped in for a football game. Sat at the bar and the bartender was cool she paid attention to everyone and not just the regular customers. So I would say they had good service. The ambience was cool it gave you an old school pub feel"
"I was craving for some Hawaiian food and found they had decent reviews. I was hoping for food like the ones I've tried in Honolulu. It was alright, but not spectacular. Food ordered: - Signature Hawaiian BBQ Mix - which was more 3.5-4 stars. Good flavors and all, but did leave my tummy hurting a bit later. - Beef Dumplings - it was good and greasyPros - somewhat clean restaurant, nice bathroomCons - the wait time was tortuous. We were so hungry.. waited around 20-25 minutes after placing our order. I'll keep searching for another Hawaiian spot .."
"Military and First Responders receive their 10% with valid badge or identification to exclude alcohol. Always a good way to start your visit !!!With plenty of seating area and a large bar you will be directed to your table as soon as you walk in. Now you can enjoy that Soju shot and a draft beer for $8.95 or four classic chicken strips with fries for $10.99. Specials do change from time to time so do check for new promotions. Now to the menu items, like them soy garlic wings which are always so delicious and crunchy. Or the Bulgogi which is another of my favorites, so so delicious with some seasoned zucchini fries or seasoned fries. Another must try are the loaded Bulgogi fries or the Korean Tacos (Spicy Chicken, or Marinated Ribeye). And you can also enjoy your Korean Donuts or Mochi Ice Cream for sweet deserts. Also check for future events like Karaoke, and family events."
"After a morning of trunk or treating at a nearby brewery, we decided to grab some lunch. The boys (my husband and brother-in-law) had a cravings for wings. My BIL had been to Bad Habits before and suggested going there.I had always noticed the storefront of the business, as I frequent the Kroger there pretty regularly. What surprised me about Bad Habits upon walking in, is how big it was! There is a whole other separate room attached to the main part where you walk in.- Parking - Center lot.- Noms - Steamed shrimp - served with melted butter and cocktail sauce. They were cooked just right and I LOVE shrimps so I had no trouble finishing that.Local fried jumbo oysters platter - this platter came with a side salad, choice of one side item and some coleslaw. The oysters were a decent size. At the end of the meal, I just wished that i had more oysters and more coleslaw.Wings - decent cook on these and the sauces were tasty! - TLC - I can't remember her name, but our waitress was super nice and checked on us often, regardless of the fact that it was a packed house!Go check them out!"
"Great home town bar with impeccable food. The owners and staff are super nice and very accommodating if you call a head for large group requests. Like the World Cup is on and I would like to bring 30 people. They give back to the community with is awesome too. Whenever I have coworkers from out of town in the area I always take them to Footers"
"We had a taste for some fried seafood, and decided to give Boil Bay a try based off of the photos on Yelp. To be honest the exterior had me a little skeptical, but upon entry I was greatly surprised. The decor was beautifully done and fit the overall theme of the food. I wasn't able to get the best photos of the lovely aesthetics, because of the lighting. They have a huge menu selection, so I am excited to try more items from here. During this visit we ordered: Fried Calamari, Fried Oysters, Onion Rings, A Soft Shell Crab Po Boy, and two kids Fried Shrimp baskets with Fries. Each item came out fast, HOT and fresh. Each basket was packed, so you definitely get your money's worth. We enjoyed everything except the Fried Calamari. I would like to note that our decision to get everything fried at once was a fail, because I am pretty sure the same batter is used for each fried item. Lastly, customer service was great. The young lady we had did a great job, however we came during lunch (discounted rate time) and she charged us each individual item at regular price. Other than that we have no complaints! Overall Score: 8/10Location: Great 9/10Prices: Reasonable 8/10Customer Service: Good 8/10Food: Good 8/10Recommend"
"Korean fried chicken, legit Korean ramen. If it were a bit more spicy I'd be there every week."
"Pizza was amazing, the only thing is that they don't have a fountain drinks so you pretty much just have whatever they have. Pizza was really good though, would recommend and will definitely be coming back. It was also clean so that's always great"
"Great food, great service. Old school pizza and sandwich shop vibe. I drive 45 minutes one way to dine here, it's that good."
"Marvelous place with good food and great service! Naturally we had the fried chicken, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We're coming back for the catfish!"
"Food and service outstanding. It's a newer pub feel inside- I was expecting something older due to the location in the historic part of town. The restaurant was very clean. Staff were friendly and liked to joke. Best part - the food. Our table had fish and chips, salmon, and corned beef Ruben. All nice portion sizes- you will not leave hungry. All equally good- would order any of the three again. Fish and chips was a big chunk of cod in a well done batter- not greasy. Well worth a stop if you're in the mood for great pub fare."
"As the only live country music spot, it would be great to see some upgrades done!! Even with low lights and a packed house....you could still see the "old and worn" status. I guess I was hoping for a Texas or Nashville kind of facility (because it truly is the ONLY one in Tidewater!) but it just looked like a work our bar that hosts live music. Staff is great! Prices are fair!! Just maybe throw some money back into it -?!?!!"
"Awesome pizza arrived hot and very tasty no leftovers that nightCame at the time it said it would be delivered by 7 minutes Thank You Sal"
"Their menu is HUGE but I always come back for their wings. Half lemon pepper with half salt and vinegar buffalo wings combo (fries + drink) list go to order!! Their wings are a little on the crunchier / hard fried side but I am willing to look past it most of the time for the seasonings they offer!"
"We stopped in for a early dinner on a saturday night. We were seated quickly and our appetizer of fried pickles came very shortly afterwards. They came with a tasty house made dipping sauce. Kinda ranch but kinda spicy. The cheesesteak i order was awesome and very cheesy. The food was fresh and hot and the service was great. Definitely a great spot to check out!"
"This gem is tucked away in the corner of a small shopping center- you'll see the Starbucks in the opposite end before you see Pho Diner. My first impression walking in was how clean and how friendly the staff were to when greeting us. I tried the P2 soup combination - delicious and highly recommend. The other person in my party had a rice dish with the most tender chicken... very well seasoned. We had spring rolls as an appetizer which I would've preferred had there been four vice two in the plate. The sauce and peanuts were delicious on the rolls and left me wanting another. I didn't get a chance to try the sushi or milk tea offerings while there but look forward to returning soon to try those as well. My initial visit was great, the waiter was very attentive and kept waters full and plates taken when done. There is an outdoor seating area as well that is probably nice to sit in when the weather allows. Check this one out if you find yourself nearby."
"I am typing this with Crab meat, shrimp, corn, potatoes, sausage, old Bay seasoning, Cajun seasoning, and garlic butter still dripping off my fingers. Seriously! Such a great find and pleasant surprise since going in we thought it would just be standard fried seafood and wings. But walking in we passed two ladies going to town with a juicy tray each filled with seafood boil. We didn't even look at the menu; we told the guy that's what we wanted, too! Looking back at their menu, they definitely have tons of other things to order but the Spicy Korean wings!?!?! Yeahhhhh, I'm coming back for those for sure. Price for each tray was "only" $23.99 and I say only because that other place (y'all know what I'm talking about... Don't play lol!) charges $10 more. Here, that's the price WITH the shrimp heads OFF! Drinks are self serve and you sit anywhere you'd like. It's like a fast food joint but not really. Heh. I didn't give it 5 stars but the taste and service definitely was. I knocked off a star because 1) it was hot inside (thermostat read 78 degrees even with the front door propped open to let the breeze in - yikes!), and 2) the place needed a REALLY REALLY REALLLLLY GOOD mopping! Other than that, lots of parking since it's in the Pleasant Valley strip mall, two doors down from Tung Hoi. Don't expect fancy decor; you're there for the food! They do have adequate seating though and drinks are refillable so those are definitely pluses. Definitely recommend, definitely will return, and definitely a happy customer! Tip: Ask for both sauces to go in your seafood boil!! It wasn't spicy by any means but I would ask for extra next time."
"I can confidently say these are the best wings in Hampton Roads! I love a good family restaurant! I've always had good experiences with the employees there! I usually get the mild lemon pepper fried hard and sometimes boneless and wow the flavor is always amazing! The restaurant is small but clean. They also have amazing desserts definitely a must try!"
"Best Pizza in town. We get pizza from Wiseguys Pies everytiime we go to OuterBanks. Best in the area."
"The restaurant had a homey small town vibe. Nothing too updated, you could tell the plates have had some wear over the years. The customer service was amazing though. We couldn't have asked for a better waitress. She genuinely made us feel welcomed. We kept it simple by ordering garlic knots and two pizzas, one pepperoni and one white pizza. Our food came out surprisingly very quickly. The garlic knots looked amazing, but I was disappointed that they tasted a bit dry and over cooked. The pizzas were pretty good though and larger than what I thought they would be. The only thing I could nitpick was that a couple of slices hadn't been covered completely with any topping, so it kind of tasted like we were just eating flatbread.Overall, we had a pleasant experience and are looking forward to returning one day."
"Burgers tasted very good. Well executed hand smashed patties. Patties were about 1/4# smashed thin. They cooked fast and filled the bun.Fries were frozen.Everything is a la Carte: $0.25 lettuce, $0.25 tomato, etc. So my Classic Double Burger with lettuce and tomato was $10.50.Think Five Guys with a better burger, and Hardee's fries."
"Said is a man of great character... he treated us with kindness and respect no matter the time of day..Much love from the Twins"
