"The food was so fresh and very delicious It's pretty much self serving but my waitress made sure my drink stayed full The decor is very traditional and beautiful I will definitely try this place out again the sushi bar is my favorite!!!"
"Expensive, but you get what you pay for. $50 for buffet, age 13 and up.Very big selection of seafood. One bar of steamed and fresher seafood and a second bar of breaded and fried seafood.A salad bar that looks good, but almost everyone ignores. Hidden gem on this bar is the hush puppies. There is a nice traditional bar of non-seafood too. I loved the baked macaroni and cheese from this bar. Finally the dessert bar is packed with everything your sweet tooth desires. I recommend the Baklava and Key Lime Cake.Every person in our party of 8 enjoyed every single thing that they got from all their trips of the buffet. The servers are extremely friendly and hard working. I think they work three times harder than you regular resteraunt's servers. Please be sure to tip these hard workers. This location opens at 3:00 pm, by 4:00 pm on a weekday in the summer you are waiting for a seat. Especially if you have a big party. I highly recommend getting there before 4:00 pm, especially on summer weekends."
"What a treat! If you're looking for a tasty spot for the family I highly recommend Peking Restaurant...The restaurant has beautiful and traditional Asian inspired decor, a super friendly staff, and very good/hot/fresh food! One of the best buffets I've been to in quite sometime; a ton of choices, flavorful sauces, quality ingredients...something for everyone!!!I tried a number of different items and really enjoyed them all (the sushi was my least favorite, but I would go back for the hot buffet and Korean BBQ which is most of the choices anyway).A few personal favorites were the fried dumplings, the baby bokchoi, spicy Korean pork, miso soup, and the crispy chicken choices (general Tso's, honey, orange). Our server was super sweet and friendly...she also stayed on top of us with excellent service (clearing, chatting, and refills).A must try when in the area!"
"My last review of Crazy Buffet was eight years ago so it's time for an update. My wife and I enjoy the wide variety of choices. If you go when they are busy you will have a delicious meal. If you dine when business is slow you will likely be a little disappointed. When they are busy the buffet items are kept fresh and delicious. There is an hibachi grill and noodle bar where you can choose your raw ingredients and have the chef cook it hot, fresh and delicious for you. When business is slow they tend to allow buffet items to grow stale before they are refreshed. Service is always excellent. Dirty dishes are promptly removed from your table and drink refills are offered in a timely fashion. Crazy Buffet offers everything you would expect from a large Asian American buffet restaurant. Sushi, dim sum, fish and seafood, meats, vegetables, soups, salad bar, desserts, etc... There is something for everyone. Prices are very reasonable. There is never an issue finding a parking spot in the huge lot shared with the other shopping center businesses. 3.5 stars rounding up to 4 for the great service."
"Let's start by saying I am not a fan of Buffet's. When I walked in and saw that it was a buffet, I almost left... OH MY GOODNESS.... I am so glad I didn't. The food was amazing . Seasoned, fresh, delicious. All the years teaching 95 and never knew this gem existed . Whether local or traveling ... homeCooking can't be beat. They also have take out and a grill if you don't want the buffet"
"I really enjoyed Sushi King! We went at lunch time, and it was $17.99 per adult for the full menu. To me, this was great because I usually spend $20 on just 2 rolls and today I was able to get 4 rolls and fried rice for less than that! The restaurant set up isn't anything special but it was clean and spacious. The server was very nice and attentive, and they also had the robot servers to bring out rolls as well. The food also came out a lot quicker than many other all you can eat places I have been to. I will definitely be back!"

UK buffet is still our go to for all celebrations, including the times we celebrate ourselves! Even our foodie son from the West Coast was duly impressed with the quality of the sushi and the other offerings. The weekdays are great, but the weekends have a lot more to offer ( at a higher price, of course) including more Dim Sum selections. We especially love the sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves. The steamed flounder and salmon are spectacular. The sushi is fresh and they come up with unusual combination rolls. My wife especially liked the combo roll that had banana in it and another roll that had cooked salmon and eel. Finally, we love the desserts, especially the sesame balls, tiny cheesecakes and pineapple cakes.Yukai is one of the best values in Virginia Beach especially if you like sushi. They have a nice general selection of cooked Chinese food. The hibachi/Mongolian Grill can be done to order with a great selection of sauces and proteins. We always found the staff to be friendly and efficient.

My little seafood living, fat kid heart absolutely loves this restaurant.Captain George's is a seafood buffet that creators delicious seafood dishes such as crab legs, scallops, salmon, Crawfish, oysters, and more! This is an AYCE that you won't want to miss! Concerned about them running out of crab legs? Don't, they keep a steady rotation and every time I walked up to the bar, there was crab crab legs out! The waitstaff helped each other out. They're fine by and empty our shell bucket often and refill the drinks as needed. Watch out for people, this place is huge and it was packed. People were pretty respectful at the buffet but not everyone is paying attention. Pretty standard for a buffet though. The only reason I'm knocking a star is some of the food on the buffet was OK. I'd avoid the fried scallops. And the banana pudding? Don't even bother. That was honestly the worst banana pudding I've ever had. It was like a thick, vanilla bean pudding with Nilla wafers and banana slices. I've never seen a white banana pudding before. The key lime cake though? Get it. Was delicious. This is definitely a place you'll have to test yourself to of you're a seafood lover!

**Take Out Order Review**We ordered the Wonton Soup, Shrimp Fried Rice and Sweet & Sour Chicken. The Wonton Soup was perhaps the best I've ever had. The broth was full of flavor and the dumplings were perfect. The Shrimp Fried Rice and the Sweet and Sour chicken were good, but we've had better. We've actually had better from this location. It seems that the quality of the food has decreased over the last few years. It seems like the quantity of food being prepared has taken precedence over the quality of the food. The restaurant uses an online ordering system called ChowNow. Beware as the system added $ to the menu prices listed on their website. An additional $1 was added for our order of Wonton Soup and $2.50 for the Shrimp Fried Rice. We did not notice the price difference until we picked up our order and saw the restaurant order ticket totaled a different among than what we paid using the ChowNow payment system. It may be worth while to make a pick up orders via phone.

Came here because a friend wanted to come and just have as many options as he could because he could not decide what he wanted. If that sounds like you and you have no clue what kind of cuisine you want whether it's asian, hibachi, noodles, pizza, sushi, wings then definitely come here. It is absolutely crazy big almost as big as a Walmart and there's rows and rows of food to choose from. The only reason I gave this place a lower review is because food wise obviously since it's a big buffet it isn't anything spectacular but if your standards for pepper chicken, pizza, and fried rice are just average then definitely this is the place to come and not worry about how much food you're going to get!I will say that some of my favorite things were definitely the hibachi bar where you can grab whatever you want put it on a plate and someone cooks it fresh for you and I also loved their custard bun, sesame balls, and taro buns. Those are things that I got mainly here. Overall definitely a great place for a hungry group of people maybe after a long day or event to come and just devour whatever you want. There is a lot of parking because it's in a huge strip mall and if you come at around 1130 that's probably the best time (it's before it gets really crowded in the restaurant itself).Probably won't be going again just because buffet is not my style but glad I got to try it once and hopefully other people can enjoy coming here!

I happened to get off the exit for lunch stop and I stumbled upon this gem!!! Alrighty to start things off. Nanny's doesn't need foot traffic coming off I-95 but if they put a billboard out there they would be sold out.The place has a ton of parking but it was packed for lunch. The all you can eat Buffett is extremely good and their deserts were amazing. I am not a big Buffett guy but the food was to die for. All southern food (sausages, fried chicken, pulled pork, collar green, hush puppies, etc).I had three plates and desert. The friendly service was excellent, the place is clean, they serve you quickly, tons of parking. I really can't say enough great things!!!

I first moved to Norfolk two years ago and I was looking for a sushi Buffett, Sushi king didn't disappoint. The food is made to order and the restaurant is clean, server friendly and they have a new addition, an automated robot that brings you your food.. blew my mind. I will be returning again to this location

The pulled pork platter, my go to meal here, is always such generous helpings. The food is good and I have to avoid the buffet cause I will over indulge myself. The staff is always so friendly and it feels like everyone knows everyone in there. Plenty of seating always and always a good bit of conversation going on.

Dined here again today and have to say the experience this time was much better. Although the place was packed we were able to get our food in a timely manner. The general tso's chicken, hot wings and stir fried string beans were very good and although I 'm not a fan of crawfish my dining partner said they were delish, (four plates later!) as was the miso soup, (three cups later), BWAH! Service was on point. May return again. BTW they offer a senior discount but I forgot to show my ID, :(

"**3.75First time in. Folks were friendly inside, and sat me right away. There's plenty of seating with a few tvs throughout for anyone interested in the daily sports updates. I ordered the Pit-masters sandwich, which was pulled pork topped with sliced brisket and bbq sauce on a sesame seed bun. It's was a large sandwich at a great price point. Brunswick stew was my side and was perfect on this cold day. A really good stew. I didn't get much smoke, if any, from the bbq sandwich. I've got to have that smoke flavor imparted into the meat to really rave about it. It was tender and plentiful, though. Solid spot."
"I was pleasantly surprised by the food quality. I really wasn't expecting much. But everything I tried was wonderful! The bourbon chicken was perfect, tender, flavorful and authentic. The plantains were fantastic! Perfect size and sweet, perfectly caramelized. The chicken wings were amazing!!!! They were tender and crunchy and had been marinated in something wonderful! Turmeric maybe? Not sure but wow were they good. The mini fried donuts in sugar were great! Fluffy and soft! They had an amazing selection! Everything looked great and was well stocked. The place was neat and tidy. Maybe they could dim the lights a bit, it was brighter than Walmart in there. Our server made sure our drinks were never empty and cleared our plates when needed. It was a great value also. Including tip it was only $20 I'll definitely be back! What a great find!"
"This restaurant was awesome when George was the owner. The breakfast and Seafood buffet was to die for. George worked his whole life for this restaurant, he deserves to get it back. Virginia Beach, lets help him get his restaurant back. We need Pier 23 back, this was once one of the top Seafood and brunch buffets in Virginia Beach. Michael Oakley"
"I love love love this place! I think I eat here, well order to go at least once a week. The hibachi is my everything! The cook at this station has job security. I have been visiting this location at least for a solid year and he has been the only one manning this station. And he does an awesome job! I visit so much... he now speaks and confirms the count of hibachi orders. He even asks if I need anything that I don't see on the hibachi station.A matter of fact... I need to visit today!Well a few weeks ago, I did try out the Buffet... so not a fan. Well my style of eating... no bueno! Now don't judge my opinion of the buffet because this Sunday afternoon at 1pm, the restaurant was full of patrons... backs bent, forks up and down, smiles and laughter filled the restaurant. This restaurant has received several "Best of" honors... so they are winning.I am giving the hibachi station all 5 stars!!!! Maybe because I have a great rapport with the staff... they show me much love... but still the food made fresh ... overall so worthy of 5 stars! The parking in front of the restaurant is limited because this restaurant is located in a busy shopping area.Shops nearby include: The Bounce House, Gabes, Big Lots, Dollar Tree, A hair salon and many more. As a result, more than likely you will have to walk a little ways before reaching this restaurant. But pack your patience, you may get lucky a find a close space. The restaurant is open daily from 11am to 10pm... I love it!Have fun and enjoy life :)"
"It was date night with my kiddo..we left the baby with the sitter so my eldest could spend some time with us without his baby brother. My son's choice was Chinese buffet. We decided on this one because really there aren't a whole lot of Chinese restaurants around. I felt I needed to write a review for this place. We arrived...and it wasn't dead but also wasn't full...When I say everything seemed like it had been sitting there forever. It had. All the food was luke warm, dry, and hard. If they are worried about food cost, then cook less food more often...they need timers and need to check food temperatures...because at that point their food is considered unsafe in my opinion. I high recommend they check and change their food more often. My son said "my chicken, bread, noodles, and Chinese donuts are hard"..."
"Ate here, October 3, 2024.Food still good.Pleasant staff, didn't have the opportunity to take any photos, I was too busy eating."
