Michael M. "What a hidden gem! I discovered Pangaea by accident while my wife shopped for more plants that we don't need. I got to talking with the owners, who filled me in on the history of their business. So cool! Both very friendly guys. The decor is so unique and fun! My son wanted to try the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant, and my daughter was excited for the croissant, too. They both loved their food, which is exceedingly rare for my very picky children! I wish I could say that I got a picture, but they devoured it before I had the chance! My wife got a bite, but I wasn't so lucky; she expressed that it was really good, too. I got a drip coffee for myself and it was quite good. I wish that it was in a freestanding space, but this does give me something to look forward to when my wife drags me out to buy more plants!"

Kelly C. "An authentic taste of Philadelphia in Plymouth! First let me say that good food takes time--and the quality you get here is worth the wait. So if you're carrying out or eating in, plan for the time it takes for this sweet family from Philly to make your steak & cheese with love. They just completed a remodel of the dining room and it's a great improvement; it couldn't look like the former "Little Man" (previous restaurant here) forever. The menu is pretty well edited. All of your classic steak & cheese are here, and chicken is a good option. Hoagies too, and their bread is the right kind for both of these. Breakfast is all day, and really good. Prices are very competitive--meaning, a lot less than this would cost in the City of Brotherly Love. Pro tip: ask for the special sauce on the side. I can't remember what he calls it but it's amazing. And you can ask for fries "extra crispy" if you're into that."

Our server, Stephen, was attentive, professionally friendly, and took several good pictures of the birthday girls and I to remember our time together. There was a full buffet with salads and lots of add-ins, fresh and delicious fruit, veggies, meats, and desserts. The coffee was especially good. Definitely will return!"

It is first come first serve seating so you'll need to find and claim your own seat. It was pretty busy when I went and I went on a Sunday morning. There is additional outdoor seating as well but that is limited.I only got 2 things when I went but plan to come back to try more! I started off with a matcha strawberry latte with coconut cold foam on top. It might not be on the menu because apparently they change their menu every month. The drink was good but I was hoping for more matcha flavor! The cold foam overpowered the drink but it was still good and refreshing. My bagel was delicious! It was stuffed with bacon, egg, cheese, avocado, pickled onions and greens served on an everything bagel and some chipotle aioli. Perfect brunch combo!! Next time I go I want to try their charcuterie boards because that totally fits the vibe. Will update once I go back to try more!! Highly recommend for anyone in the oceanfront area :)"

They did not disappoint. The folks understand service like no body's business! They had places to charge our cell phones and we're happy to fill our water jugs and put them in their freezers for us. They were happy to mail some letters we had and offered to drive us to the store down the road when we asked where to buy some fruit. When we said no but thanks, they drove down to the store and bought us fruit and wouldn't take any money for it. The little boy Drake bought the fruit with his own money. Tom R. "We were looking for a simple place for breakfast and TL's did not disappoint. I had 2 eggs scrambled with hash browns and country ham. Eggs were as expected; hash browns were cubes, and I normally like the shredded variety. These were fine. You have a choice of country ham or city ham, and I choose country ham. I knew it would be salty, and it was. I had asked for biscuits, but they never arrived. My partner had a vegie omelet and a side of corned beef hash. Omelet was full of veggies and was tasty. Corned beef hash was good but probably came from a can. Coffee was very good and regularly refilled. Service was quick.TL's is definitely a local place for breakfast. We certainly sat next to some regulars. If you want simple food for breakfast, this is the place."

I had to check to see if my grandma wasn't in the kitchen. Everything was served hot and fast. Our server was attentive and gave great suggestions. There were regular customers who overheard us trying to decide what to eat and they told us " you can't go wrong with anything you choose". And they were not wrong! Me and my fiancé come here almost every morning every time we visit the outer banks, and the food is always amazing and not over priced like a lot of other places around here. We've also come here for lunch too, and i love their fried seafood baskets, i particularly like the fried oyster basket, they definitely give you your moneys worth in food. There's not really anywhere to sit inside since it's more of an in-and-out type of place, but they do have picnic tables right outside that we sit at when it's nice outside. The people working here are also always so nice and welcoming, which always makes us wanna come back too. This place is 10/10 and I rave about it to everyone."

The fish was flaky, moist and perfectly seasoned without being too salty. The collard greens tasted very fresh and the juices tasted really good on the bread that came with the meal. The Mac and cheese emotionally fulfilled me in ways that I can't describe. And to top it all off the mumbo sauce was superb. Marta G. "Justin and I were headed north for a weekend getaway. We always check out YELP to find a local place to try.Our place had mostly good ratings so we decided to stop. The place is in an old strip of shops, looks run down. The inside is clean and smelled like pizza(mmmm). It was a true dive as far as the decor- run down booths with duct tape, but comfortable. They had a staff issue and only two servers. They had for hire signs on the door. We had a brand new waitress, who was timid but attentive. She didn't introduce herself, but shout out to her for taking the first step.Justin had the French Onion soup, if you follow me here, he loves to taste em all! It was good but not really a traditional FO. It was more like Au Jus for dipping a sandwich, but still had a good flavor. He also had the fried shrimp special, thought for sure it would have come with fries but 12 shrimp is what you got. The waitress didn't know what it can with. He enjoyed them none-the-less.I love chicken parm, that is what I ordered. It was a huge portion over spaghetti, baked and covered in sauce. It was delicious!! I could only eat half. They don't carry dessert any more the waitress said, but... that's ok we were full. In conclusion, if you are looking for fancy- this is not the place, but is if you are hungry and want great tasting food.Good job to the chef!"

Perhaps due to their location (on second floor above an arcade) and difficult to see signage, we were able to get in without a reservation. The room decor is stylish and hip (I'd got rid of the TVs over the bar and have recorded music; I gather they have live music occasionally) . The service was understated and gracious. Pricing was extremely reasonable and portion sizes were large. My pork chop was beautifully prepared. Kudos to whoever put the wine list together: it was great to see some interesting wines--not the usual suspects--at fair markups. If you're headed to Corolla, please support Broken Plate. I personally love their double cheeseburger but my mom says she thinks the Pattie's are too thin. So, I guess it's personal preference because I love them. And for sure, Monty's has THE BEST onion rings in town. If you've never been there, or if you're new to the area, understand this place is one of the oldest local "dive" restaurants adored by us locals! Some of the people who work there will give you a piece of their mind if you act up lol. We've witnessed it first hand. But those same people have worked there forever and are wonderful people. There were about 25 of us, probably more, and despite it being during their Saturday evening dinner rush, all of our orders were correct, our drinks refilled in a timely manner, the staff friendly & our food was delicious and conservitely priced.I had the club sandwich with ham and bacon, fries, battered onion rings, fried okra and apple pie Ala mode. I love club sandwiches, and even though they are quite simple, Rick's was served hot, perfectly toasted, no bad ham cuts, fries crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside, onion rings that were sweet in their battered shell and fried okra that reminded me of mama's home cooked okra from my childhood memories. The only hiccup in my meal was the pie. The crust was so light that it appeared uncooked - no crispy pie shell and the apples felt too firm. Even with my dessert being a let down, I was happy enough to want to make a return visit.....and soon as they have BBQ ribs on the menu! Ps, they have menu prices that are better than fast food when you consider the amount of food that you get with each order.Home cooking almost as good as your mom's."
