We got the chesapeake benedict (yum!), chicken fried benedict, shrimp & grits, sledge skillet (amazing presentation), croissant basket, and a flight of virgin mimosas.It can get busy on the weekends so be sure to go early. Around noon on Saturday, it was about a 40 minute wait. The next Saturday, we were there at 10 am and were seated instantly.Definitely coming back and bringing more friends."

"We are so glad we found this place for breakfast while in Virginia Beach. When you pull up, you are greeted by the free valet service, which was such a fun experience having never been anywhere with valet before. My husband went inside and told them we had a dog so they brought us over to the side where they have a patio that is covered. It was so cute to find out that they have a dog menu, so our dog got to eat his breakfast while we had ours. The food was really good, typical breakfast offerings. My husband really loved the cinnamon roll pancakes that he got. I wish I had gotten an iced coffee because they have coffee Ice cubes and someone sitting next to us had one which looked so good. I will definitely plan to come back here, everyone was so friendly, and gave special attention to our pup."

"This was a small spot with outdoor seating. There also was a bar outside, but not sure if it was part of the establishment. The menu was diverse while the service was friendly. The food also came out very fast.For an appetizer, the hushpuppies ($7) were ordered. They came with whipped butter, but it was in the small packages. There were twelve medium sized balls that were fried appropriately and came out extremely hot. They were very tasty. There was a nice batter to filing ratio with plenty of flavor.I had the fish tacos ($15). There were two large tacos with beer battered rockfish, jicama slaw, chili lime mayo, and Pico de Gallo. They were stuffed appropriately with a lot of slaw. I would have preferred the rockfish to be a little bigger, but it was not a big deal as they were good and fried nicely. The mayo was a nice touch with the rest of the filling. I opted for the potato salad as a side, and it was pleasant. I also tried the fried green tomato sandwich that came with basil goat cheese, roasted red pepper, and a balsamic reduction. This was well put together. Every component of the sandwich complimented each other nicely. Will I go back? Yes."

"We have been coming to Williamsburg for years and this was a place we clearly have been missing. The customer service was amazing as soon as we walked in the door when we were greeted by Ms. Kecia. We had pancakes, chicken and waffles, and eggs and bacon. I had to check to see if my grandma wasn't in the kitchen. Everything was served hot and fast. Our server was attentive and gave great suggestions. There were regular customers who overheard us trying to decide what to eat and they told us " you can't go wrong with anything you choose". And they were not wrong! Southern Pancake and Waffle will now be our regular breakfast spot every time we visit Williamsburg."

"80/20 is one of the best burger and appetizer spots and the best part is that they're open late!You can either parallel park on 21st St or if you're lucky, you can park in the lot behind the restaurant. Easiest street parking would probably be available on 20th St. The appetizers are fantastic. Every appetizer I've had has been good but I keep coming back for their spinach and leek dip and their mozzarella sticks. The dip is creamy and flavorful. You can get your fries topped with the dip! The mozzarella sticks are thick and have the perfect cheese pull. You can dip them in the marinara or an Alfredo sauce.The burgers?! You really can't go wrong. All of the ones I've had have been amazing. Down to the one covered in puff pastry! There are lots of options, you can do their regular burger, a meatless burger, or even a bison burger!Not only do I recommend this place for late night eats, a casual lunch meet up, or delicious dinner, but they have good brunch too!Service is good; I get what I order, my box, and a check. It's a very chill environment. Big dive bar vibes but one step up in casual dining"

Since we were hungry and hadn't been in a while, we decided to return in hopes that things had improved.Since it was rainy, it wasn't busy at all and we were seated right away. Our server was super nice and took our drink orders. I decided on a Spicy Mango Margarita and it was amazing! For my entree, I ordered the BBQ Brisket and chose the Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Mac & Cheese for my sides and my boyfriend decided on the BBQ Brisket sandwich. The food came out fairly quickly and as soon as the server noticed how little fries he was given with his sandwich, she graciously brought out more. The BBQ Brisket was tender but a little too salty for my liking. I also would have preferred a little less bbq sauce as well, it was very saucy. The Mac & Cheese unfortunately wasn't salty enough and lacked some flavor so I found myself eating the brisket and Mac together to balance out the flavors. The Brussels Sprouts were cooked very well and tasted great.Overall, I'm glad we went back and gave it another chance because the server was really nice and the experience was way better this time than the last so I definitely will be returning if I'm ever in the area."

Especially on a day with perfect weather, you can sit outside on the covered patio and enjoy mimosas!Mimosas 5/5: I've lost track of all the flavors I've tried. But my favorite is the lavender! OG fried rice 6/5: I can't help but get the same dish every time. It's just too good. The rice is so good and crispy! Rosemary biscuits 5/5: I first tried this with their soup of the day. In the fall they have butternut squash soups. They'll had a small cut of their biscuit to the order. You can order the biscuits alone, they're sooooo good and made fresh. They also have drink happy hours each day of the week' not sure what times since I never make it. Breakfast specials from 7-10am, includes coffee and sandwich for only $7! They also have food specials such as ramen or paella. I just follow along on social media to find out the special. Limited but free parking. Otherwise street parking but very walkable and close. If you're at the convention center it's only a short walk over."

Me and my fiancé come here almost every morning every time we visit the outer banks, and the food is always amazing and not over priced like a lot of other places around here. We've also come here for lunch too, and i love their fried seafood baskets, i particularly like the fried oyster basket, they definitely give you your moneys worth in food. There's not really anywhere to sit inside since it's more of an in-and-out type of place, but they do have picnic tables right outside that we sit at when it's nice outside. The people working here are also always so nice and welcoming, which always makes us wanna come back too. This place is 10/10 and I rave about it to everyone."

"I decided to venture out and try a new, breakfast spot on a Sunday afternoon which led me to Sandfiddler Cafe. The reviews were great so I couldn't wait to try it out. I arrived a little after 12pm and it was packed, the only seating available was at the high-top seating area in the back, which I didn't mind sitting at.The staff were super friendly and gave me a menu right away. I decided on the Crabmeat Omelette which came with two sides so I ordered the potatoes with onions and some fruit. As I waited for my food, other locals arrived and sat around the counter area as well. You can tell they were regular customers which I loved. The Crabmeat Omelette came out fairly quickly and was amazing! The hollandaise sauce was flavored perfectly and the crabmeat was filled all throughout the omelette. I love veggies in my omelette so if I were to order it again, I would definitely add some onions and peppers but it was still great as is. The potatoes were just as amazing and definitely tasted homemade. Overall, I highly recommend stopping in and trying out this cafe. The space isn't super big so you may have to wait, depending on the time you arrive, but if there's space at the high-top seating in the back, I say take it and make some new friends with the locals."

They had some healthy/vegan items as well as all the decadent Southern staples you love to hate (or hate to love) - like chicken and waffles, sausage gravy, tons of breakfast biscuit sandwich combos, pancakes, waffles, yogurt, etc. I had a shaken sweet iced espresso and it was DELISH. Not too, too sweet but still a treat. As well as the Boozy Bird sans the extra booze shot. So mine was essentials a biscuit with fried chicken and a side of maple syrup. Biscuit was delicious and fluffy and warm and the chicken was great. I saw other combos that looked wonderful but, still trying to lose the last 10 lbs of baby weight so.... not right now. We sat for about 2.5 hours catching up and had no issues.I used the restroom and they have two nice, clean restrooms with a baby changing station. Important. I like this new and bustling part of town. Will come back for sure, trying to get my husband to come back soon!"

So for the Thanksgiving weekend, we decided to make the drive here once again to see how things were.Upon walking inside, you can see the specials written on their board. Just like a year ago, country fried steak was the special. And that's we both ordered again. I had mine with home fries, scrambled eggs and buttered toast and Sophia had hers with home fries, fried hard eggs and buttered toast along with coffee and water. And like before, both of us enjoyed our meal. Our meals came out in a timely manner cooked very well. Like before, I added salt and pepper to the eggs for a bit more seasoning (each restaurant does their food differently), but the both of us were filled up nicely for the morning drive.Well, that was our experience. Parking lot is on the smaller side but it's relatively decent parking. Service (3/5): it was hard to know where to pickup the food when I walked in. There is a counter in the back by the kitchen where you pay, but there was a group of people milling around the front door, and nobody to direct us or greet us.When I finally walked up the counter, nobody even glanced my way. When someone finally glanced my way and asked me what I needed, it was with the sourest expression. Everyone has bad days, but overall I did not get the warm and fuzzies from any of the staff as I watched and waited for half an hour by the door. Ambiance (5/5): the vibe is cute, with assorted dining tables and chairs for the inside, and a cute spacious patio on the outside. It's not huge, but it isn't cramped either. Did not use the bathroom but I did notice a small hallway with that looked like a womens and mens.They have a couple of highchairs for little patrons.Food (5/5): we got the brisket breakfast burrito with jam, and it was on point.
