"Stopped in for a few drinks and to warm up and overall enjoyed the atmosphere and drinks! Drinks: The pumpkin patch- a cocktail with espresso and liquor and I can't recall what else but no milk or cream. Very good! English Breakfast Tea- including a full pot of tea, cream, sugar. It was delightful! Ambiance: We had our drinks in the bar area and it was nice and comfortable. Went into the main sitting room and they had a fire going. Bathrooms were clean. Service: Hostess who sat us, was nice and sweet. Waitress was very attentive and kind.Bartender checked to see how we enjoyed the cocktail and was very friendly."
"What a perfect spot for a romantic getaway or a leisurely weekend on the Northern Neck! My dear bride and I spent out 42nd wedding anniversary (I KNOW, can you imagine?) as guests in the Madison cottage. Such a warm and comfortable and private place to settle in for a few days. Great bed, great amenities, even a kitchy but cute electric "fireplace" to keep things warm. The restaurant was also a hit. Our room came with free breakfast, and it was very generous. Wife's Benedict was absolutely perfectly prepared, with great hollandaise. My spinach scramble was absolutely decadent, every bite had a tug of a cheese pull, and the bacon and onions that were intermixed were just the perfect pairing with the fresh spinach. The hotel is an excellent place for a special stay -- it isn't inexpensive. But it is worth it. And the meal we had has us planning a return trip, just to eat in the restaurant.6 out of 5."
"Today was a delight having a wonderful tea at Peace Hill. We had a French toast tea which was real creamy tasting. We started with a Butternut Squash soup that was very tasty. The sandwiches included Cucumber, Egg Salad and Chicken Salad. Another offering was a Pumpkin cake, Shortbread cookie. So delicious defenitely would recommend this experience."

I Had a great time at the restaurant. The place is so cozy, so comfortable and beautiful. It has a lot of character. Loved the furniture and the seating booths were extremely comfortable. The food was amazing. We had blacked salmon and seared salmon. They were cooked to perfection and perfectly y seasoned. The bread basket was to die for! The mashed potatoes were perfect and the steamed vegetables were on point! The customer service was great and the owner was kind and very welcoming! I'll definitely go back and I highly recommend this restaurant.

I have enjoyed afternoon tea at Peace Hill Farm twice in the last 4 months, and both times were a real treat! My first visit was with a large group of 40, and our tea was held in the farm's event barn, which I believe was once a chicken coup. The chickens don't inhabit the barn any more, and it's a delightful space for events. My second tea was held inside the farm house, which also is a bed and breakfast. You feel like you're in a country home. The tea features soup or another appetizer like peaches, then you received a tower of scones and cream, tea sandwiches, and cookies. Of course there's tea too, like Earl Grey, chocolate, and green. It's all delicious and reasonably priced at $24 per person. After tea, walk around the farm to see the animals.
