"Competitive parking lot situation during post-meal hours. The poor staff probably spend as much time explaining what's in the various flavors to tourists as they do waiting for people to finish sampling. I don't get the hype. The flavors are alright, with coconut being one of the favorites for our group, but the texture across the board is a little gummy, rather than creamy. The last straw was when I found a small hair in my ice cream. I'd originally planned on hitting up another of their locations to try other flavors like Cherries Jubilee / Rum Raisin / Limoncello, but this experience encouraged me to save my calories for other treats."
"On bestie weekend this was our second bakery stop (thank goodness The Chrysler was opening soon as we surely would have hit every bakery in Norfolk) and upon selecting a dine in treat and take outs for the man, we sat down for a quiet snack on. It did not stay quiet for long. The goods are so good that even the cold, pelting rain couldn't keep the citizens away. Our dine in treat was what I thought was a simple coffee cake. It was not simple but it sure was good. Alot of crunch on top, but not enough cinnamon to turn you off. The cake was a moist compliment to the topping. As we snacked I could smell something baking in the oven and it smelled like bread. I gave bestie a blow by blow of what happening in the kitchen til I finally told her we weren't leaving til I found out what it was: focaccia bread!! I asked the young lady how long before it was ready and she gave me the food news of only 11 minutes. I immediately stopped dining on my coffee cake so I would have room for it. My husband spent 3 years in Italy courtesy of the government and almost every morning I would get up at 4 to walk our Rottie. My reward for leaving our 4th floor walk up was fresh focaccia. While the focaccia here wasn't like what you would get in Italy, it was delicious too. We chose to get ours brushed with butter and parmesan. Bestie, hubby and I ate on it for 2 days! It was big and tasty! The other 2 bakery items I brought home were the almond croissant (OMG good!! Do NOT pass it up) that looked incongruous amongst all the other pretty pastries but was so sweet, airy and perfect. I wish I had bought more of those. The other was the Pan Au Raisan roll. This thing was so good I bet even my raisan hater hubby would have eaten it.This is one of the things I dislike about living in the country. Then again, if we lived in Norfolk I'd be bigger than our house out here in the country!"

"Tasty ! First time here & i'm definitely coming back:) Note: It's a very popular spot so arrive early before it starts getting crowded. Pretty small location but have tables and benches available outdoors."
"We ordered delivery for this order so I can't write a review about how the people are, and how the cafe looks. I can tell you about the goodies though.Taro Cake-Soooo good!! It's moist, fluffy, the frosting doesn't overpower the taro flavor with sweetness and it makes it perfect!! You can actually taste the flavor of the cake, unlike other cakes from other places, it's nothing but sugar. My daughter said she didn't want cake, but I told her she'd regret it if she doesn't at least try this cake. She ended up finishing it and wished we bought more. lolMacarons-I believe the ones in the pic are taro flavored. Yum! We've had other flavors from this cafe before. When my SIL and the fam were in town they went exploring and found this cafe, then decided to bring a bunch of goodies to a family gathering. That's how we heard about this cafe, and trying what they brought made us want to buy more. They are that good! Oreo cake- Like their other cakes, fluffy, moist, and yummy!Red velvet-Yum! Love the flavor of the cream cheese frosting. Not overly sweet that you can actually taste the cream cheese flavorFruit cake-So good! It's a light and fluffy cake. Not overly sweet. Mango pineapple-Not sure how it tastes because my nephew had that one and he didn't really say what he thought about it. It looked good though. Overall, I can confidently say for sure that their cakes and macarons are delicious!! I would buy and eat a slice everyday if I could. They are that good!!"
"Bergey's Breadbasket is a must visit if you are in the area. They make the ice cream themselves, and the flavors are seasonal. We all had an ice cream and it was delicious, creamy, not insanely sweet. They also had some unique flavors. I missed the key lime pie but picked up peanut brittle and other locally made goodies. My husband loved the turkey club sandwich. The outdoor seating area is super cute. They also have goats you can feed which my kiddos loved. We didn't get a chance to visit the petting zoo due to time but we will next time."
"Wow!! Since I've come to love everything made with Ube, this location is a veritable fairyland of goodies. They didn't have the Ube Spanish Bread, which is my favorite. But their Ube Pandesal Rolls are a close second. The first time I went, I had to immediately eat one in the car. It was so hot & fresh that my finger made an indentation in the roll. Yumminess personified!!There is a door and opening between the "behind the counter' personnel & the area where the bakers are working. When you order Ube Pandesal Rolls they actually walk into the area where the goodies are being baked & bring them out fresh from the oven.It was a quite busy time of the day so I quickly purchased a bag of 6 Ube Pandesal Rolls (not nearly enough), an Ube Crinkle Cookie, a slice of Bibingka (recommended by my physical therapist) & a Pandesal.Since I don't like sweets the Ube Pandesal Rolls were by far my favorite. I have one every day now with my breakfast. On a return trip I purchased a bag of twelve, which is a more reasonable amount for me.My PT's favorite Bibingka was too sweet for my tastebuds. They had a Ube Bibingka that day but not offered in the large slices. That probably would have better suited for me. Angie's has quite a variety of offerings. But I was on a singleminded focus aimed at Ube.The location is in a strip shopping center on the west side Holland Road. It's hard to see coming from the north since the center has a backwards L shape with Angie's facing traffic coming from the south on Holland Road. Turn west on Northwood Drive then a right turn into the shopping center. You'll be immediately facing Angie's.Although it's a busy shop, I've never had a problem getting a parking space in front of the bakery.I love your Ube Pandesal Rolls Angie's Bakery. Returning will be a regular part of my life."
"The food at Indulge Bakery is first rate, and it's got a cute, relaxing vibe!Tip: The bakery is situated in a very historic townWhen I first came here, I enjoyed a truly Legit grilled cheese sandwich. It was made with not one, not two, but four different cheeses - totally delicious!"
"My husband and I are huge fans of Pownd Cakes by Jen, so choosing them for our wedding cake was a no-brainer. Jen was super accommodating and allowed us to try as many cake flavors as we wanted. We settled on caramel (our favorite), lemon, and chocolate chocolate chip. We ended up purchasing a large three-tier cake to decorate, along with mini cakes that we cut into fours so the guests could try each flavor. The cake was a hit among our guests, and we certainly didn't mind taking the leftover cake home. :)"
"Extraordinary Cupcakes saved the day(s)!!!!I live out of state and was having difficulty finding a Williamsburg bakery to make & deliver a birthday cake to my mother whose retirement community had restricted access during the pandemic. The woman I spoke with was incredibly helpful!I chose the Bewitching Blueberry Lemon. The decoration was beautiful & my mother assured me it was delicious!! The experience was so fantastic, I ordered the Sinfully Salted Caramel cake for my father's birthday the following week!I look forward to patronizing Extraordinary Cupcakes when I come for a visit later this year!"
"One of my fiancés friends told us how great the deserts here are. So for my fiancé birthday I got a few cupcakes to try and a mini strawberry cheesecake. I went early in the afternoon so all the choices were full, it was hard to choose because they all looked great. I chose a confetti, strawberry shortcake, pineapple with coconut and strawberry supreme. The cupcakes were delicious super moist. Definitely will be going back to try other cupcakes!!"
"What a great coffee house! Gabs is a great barista and we really like her. Genuine smile and makes you feel welcome. This will be our regular stop in E-City from now on."
"My daughter is addicted to Crumbi, so I take her over to Hiltop once in a while to grab a box. The order ahead curbside has worked great! I have also walked in and it's slick and span clean. Service is friendly and the cookies scrumptious. Price point is higher than it should be, but they are quality. Not sure if it's a fad or Crumbl is here to stay. They are franchising the heck out of them now. Follow them on social media for their latest creations. I'm sure I will be back."

Best ice cream in Chincoteague! I love to go here with the kids. And the affogato is perfection! The parking lot is small, so we prefer to ride our bikes and avoid the parking lot. The service never disappoints and they have a great system for the busy crowds. I also bought a long sleeve sweater this time!

What a fun little place. It's obvious that it's a locals favorite. Right after we got in line (second after one family), people were lined up half way down the block. There was only one staff member working that day and even though he was stressed (I would be too), he was polite and friendly. He made us feel like no one else mattered but us at that moment. He was puzzled as to why so many customers until we mentioned spring break. I got the coffee ice cream in hopes of killing two birds with one stone. I wanted ice cream but I also wanted coffee so of course, coffee ice cream it was. What a great choice. It was so rich and creamy. It definitely satisfied both cravings. For those that live near by, lucky you. For those visiting that area, definitely stop by and enjoy like my family and I did.

Angie's Bakery has been one go-to for Sophia and myself for years everytime we traveled to the Southside. Filipino treats for the public to enjoy. After we had lunch at Lumpia and Company last weekend, we stopped by to hopefully buy Ube cheesecake, the last item we purchased. Any luck? Let's find out.Walking inside, the line was a bit long. But you know it's a great thing. On an afternoon like this, having a nice crowd on hand says a lot. It did go by fast as always. And of course, they had plenty of Ube cheesecake. It was in-and-out and we were out in 5 minutes. And like before, the cheesecake was pretty good. Not too sweet and just right. Thanks again Angie's Bakery. Our sweet teeth were taken care of. We should stop by the next time we're in the area. Till next time :)

What a great restaurant/coffee/bakery! First time dining here but my friend who suggested it had eaten here a few times and I can see why! You order at the counter and can take a seat anywhere. They then will bring out your food and drinks. Not tons of seating inside and might not be great for groups bigger than 4. They have daily specials and a full bakery case full of cakes, and other baked goods. I arrived before my friend and the nice woman behind the counter let me know how to order. I ordered the chicken salad on a croissant with chips and it was delicious. Nice flakey croissant with large chunks of chicken in the chicken salad. So yummy! Friend ordered the tomato basil soup and loved it! She also had an iced coffee. I took some sweets home and really enjoyed the cinnamon biscuits with cream cheese frosting and the carrot cake muffin. Both were delicious. Such a cute place in Historic Hilton Village. They also serve breakfast every day and on Sunday they serve breakfast all day!

My hubbs brought these home! We got 6 minis for $30. Since I didn't go in to order it or pick it up.. I can't base my rating off of the service or ambiance. I'll rate each pound cake. Pistachio 3/10. Caramel 7/10. Pineapple 4/10. Butter 10/10. Almond Joy 1/10(mine tasted like oil). Cookies & cream 10/10(not pictured). All of them were very moist. Their texture was a 10/10.

"If you are reading this because you are trying to decide if you should visit this small, but mighty, cafe.....then the answer is a resounding YES!!!! Absolutely! Go now! And as soon as you walk in the door, ask for a loaf of French bread to go and a croissant doughnut to munch on while you're standing in the store paying for it. Soooo delicious!!!! I cannot believe I have lived in Hampton Roads for all these years and never stopped in. I've been totally missing out!!"
"I was in Virginia Beach recently on business trip, and my wife told me about a little shop called Cinnaholic and I was very impressed on the with cleanlinees and the customer service of the staff. My wife chose the Strawberry shortcake cinnamon and I chose the Rocky Road and oh my goodness...both of these treats were as delicious as advertised. My wife even called them "sinful"...in a good way of course. If you have a sweet tooth or just like cinnimon buns, and in the city of Virginia Beach, you need Cinnaholicin your life. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!"
"This was my first time here and it definitely won't be the last. I've had their products before from Emart in Virginia Beach. I wanted to visit their store when I knew I would be in Newport News. So glad I came by. They have a vast selection of yummy pastries, made fresh. I couldn't even tell you what I specifically bought. I basically just put stuff in my basket. I already have eaten a few by the time of this writing and am absolutely blown away by the quality of every product so far. Every item I ate was moist and soft, just the right amount of sweet, and not heavy for the stomach. I definitely recommend a visit here whether you live in Newport News or elsewhere!"
"By far the prettiest cafe I've visited in a while! I found this gem while I was out running errands and was blown away by the environment and tons of bakery options! There was literally something for everyone and the staff was so sweet and patient as I asked questions about what to try. I opted for an Almond milk cafe latte and a strawberries & cream croissant. My latte was the perfect temperature and strong, while the croissant provided just the right amount of sweetness. I'm so glad I decided to stop in. Highly recommend!"
"WoooOoooW. Just incredible. Amazing. So glad I stopped by. Went it for the Italian Sub ended up with the Italian grinder. So good. Tiramisu delicious. They stay busy and what I assume are the owners are fantastic."
"Dropped in on a whim one afternoon and was pleasantly surprised! It's not really visible as you drive by so I rarely think about it being so close to my home...it's less than mile and a half away so now that I know it's good, I'll need to head back to try some other things. On this trip, which was late afternoon on a week day, I was craving a chai latte and stopped in to check it out. There was only one very pleasant young lady working and a pretty steady flow of customers so it did take a little longer than I'd hoped to be served but I enjoyed taking a look around the place while I waited. They have books, they have games, they have scheduled events (paint night for example) and they have a good variety of bakery items and hot sandwiches among other things. What a fun atmosphere! Oh and did I mention they also serve beer and wine! They have enough of a variety so there's sure to be something for everyone. You should definitly go and give it a try too."
"What a gem of a bakery! I'm sad that it's on the Peninsula, but maybe that's better for my hips LOL.I had heard a few Yelpers mentioning that this was a Japanese-style (and Japanese owned) bakery, so during Spring Break, my kids and I were in the area exploring, so we stopped in before heading home. It's located inside a small strip mall. For some reason, I thought it had a dining area. It was a bit of a torture to have to drive and wait 45+ minutes to taste the goodies haha. The lady who helped us was super patient as we stood their trying to make tough decisions. - The Treats -Cinnamon Roll - Individually packed in a plastic container, the roll was super moist and the frosting abundant. It's a decent portion, it's the size of the container. Purple Sweet Potato Tart - It was just so pretty! It's a unique little tart with a kind of custard and whipped cream in the middle, piped with the purple sweet potato and edible glitter! I took pics in the sunlight and it looks magical! The crust was good too.Souffle Cheesecake - It was moist as well, and springy. It wasn't as airy as the one I had in Hawaii, but delicious nonetheless. Theirs was more on the cream cheese side, but still springy like a sponge cake. Just slightly more dense than the ones I've had in the past. Tiramisu - This is made in a cup, again decent portion. Theirs is made with cream cheese. I prefer mine with mascarpone, but it was still tasty!Hampton peeps are lucky. I would be here often if I lived nearby. Can't wait to stop in again to try more of their items! I saw that they had macarons and it's nice that they have cakes by the slice and individual tarts so you can pick a variety!Stay safe, Friends!"
"Went Sat 1/19/25 looked as they had been busy but they offered to accommodate us ~~ staff was very kind. We got the strawberry crunch slice with cheesecake middle and we got the lemon blueberry crunch slice and a wedding cupcake A MAZ ING my fave was the lemon blueberry crunch it's so innovative I have never had anything like it!! It's a cute little place and we will be back. Thanks for an amazing experience"
"Great options, delicious flavors, kind people. Kids and adults very satisfied. Big fan of the Japanese Ube flavor cupcake."
"Today was my second visit to scratch bakery in just a month. My daughters and I ventured out for the viral Dubai Chocolate and we were not disappointed!! We also ordered a 6 count of cupcakes. We devoured everything in the car! So we came back! Today's visit we tried more cupcakes, peach cobbler, banana pudding, chicken pot pie, a bread pudding and another Dubai chocolate bar. EVERYTHING was good! I love a bakery where everything is good! I wish we knew about them sooner because even though it's an hour away from me I always say I will travel for food! We will be back and if you're ever in the area you should give them a try! You won't be disappointed!"
"I will start by saying I actually used to work right across the street when Macaron Tart first opened and I have always been highly impressed with everything I've ever ordered! The owner was always there when I stopped by and was always very sweet to me and always recommended something amazing for a quick lunch break!Fast forward today : (about 4 years since I've been in)I was planning on taking my 5 yr old daughter on an afternoon tea date and another cute little tea house I found only to find out that they were closed for a private event. My daughter was obviously disappointed and I felt pretty terrible for not making a reservation. Panicking to come up with a solution for my disappointed little one I remembered that my favorite little macaron place served tea! I called and asked if there was anyway we could do a last minute high tea. The man on the phone (who turned out to be the owners husband) explained to me they usually ask for the high teas to be reserved ahead of time to ensure the items are prepared fresh for the tea. However, he did tell me to come on in and there were other pastries and macarons readily available! I told him that was perfectly fine and we were on our way. *sigh of relief*We get there and my daughter was overjoyed to see all of the goodies! He promptly offered us a selection of teas and prepared it for us. I asked if there was a set menu for the food, he explained to me since they weren't prepared for us they didn't have the lunch items usually served with the tea ready and that we were more than welcome to make selections from the counter and he would serve us. My daughter was very excited to make her selections from the counter. I asked for a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant and he happily prepared one for us!Long story short I just wanted to say thank you so much to the owner's husband for saving our tea date! He was beyond accommodating and sweet. And yes the food is still amazing!"
"As soon as you walk in you will be greeted by the best sugary sweet smell! The shop rotates flavors so be sure to check before you go and you can order milk with your cookies. My favorite was the very classic chocolate chip. I thought the cookies were very sweet, almost a little too sweet for me, but maybe they would be perfect for someone else. I definitely think it's worth trying on your own and I would come back to try different flavors."
"Really cheap prices! Bought a dozen of ensemada, 1 beef empanada, 1 spicy beef empanada, and 1 siopao. I recommend the pork siopao the most! The steamed bread was soft and chewy, the meat was flavorful and well-filled! Service was really good - the cashier was really sweet. The ambiance felt like it was a local spot - you're there for delicious food and good people. Great prices."
"My family and I recently moved to the area from Georgia to be closer to the rest of my family, and I had been looking forward to the first mother/daughter lunch out. My mom, who lives in Gloucester recommended this location so today we decided to visit for lunch. When we arrived the power was out at the restaurant (and apparently in other parts of the city) but to my surprise instead of being turned away we were welcomed in and told they were still serving lunch, the only thing they couldn't do was heat the soup and make the specialty drinks in hot form. We were seated right away and given plenty of time to peruse the menu and chat. You would never have even known they were having a hiccup with the power grid as the staff made sure everything flowed smoothly. We started with a cold glass of mixed berry lemonade, and then ordered the daily special, a Caprese Melt on herbed focaccia. The food came pretty quickly, and the portion was more than generous, and it was love at first bite! The focaccia was absolutely perfect, and the flavors married beautifully with the fresh tomato, basil and mozzarella cheese. My mother and I ordered the same sandwich but for her side she chose their fresh cut house chips and I chose the cucumber salad. And then there was dessert....sweet tooth cafe has a wide assortment of baked goods, made from scratch...and it was so hard to choose what to try first. We ended up deciding on the tiramisu and we split it. Other options were key lime pie, carrot cake, cheesecakes, cinnamon rolls that were the size of a sandwich plate, and eclairs. The tiramisu was amazing!!! With the perfect balance of flavors. By the end of the meal, just before we finished the lights came back on and everything went back to normal for the team working there, but again you never would have even known that they had any challenges. They meal was excellent, the customer service was great and I truly am looking forward to returning with the rest of my family to explore more of the menu."
"Delicious cookie... But damn, it was expensive. $5.10 for a sugar cookie.... It's my daughter's favorite so sometimes you have to splurge. PLEASE NOTE, we came looking to order the mini cookies, but apparently they only have it on Mondays. Anywho, the place was clean. The customer service was 'okay'. All in all, I will definitely be back (but only on a Monday for their mini cookies). Check them out if you're in the area!"
"I rarely find myself in Norfolk, but as luck would have it, I had to run an errand in the area last week. It'd been a while since my last visit to the Oceanfront location and I'd never been to this one, so it was a prime opportunity to indulge in May's delights.I'd not had my caffeine fix for the day, so we started with a couple of lattes, perfect for the chilly weather day. The hubs and I had a couple of sandwiches for lunch - he the Ham & Brie and I the Turkey Bacon Pesto. He enjoyed his sandwich. As for me? I wanted to have 10 of mine; it was so damn good. It had the perfect balance of all the ingredients. I swear I could eat that sandwich every day and never get sick of it.Of course, we couldn't leave without a box of goodies that included a cruffin (I HAD to have) and a few other sweets from the cases. It wasn't an obscene amount, but it took a few days to eat it all, nonetheless. The standout for me was the s'mores cheesecake. It was light yet rich in flavor, which is a bonus for me since I'm not a fan of super heavy desserts these days. The service was super friendly and attentive. I will definitely be looking for another excuse to go to Norfolk again soon!"
"Yummo!!!!! Do yourself a favor and eat their cupcakes. It is totally carry out. So, go there and carry out!!!! I wish I had taken a pic of my cupcakes but we were too eager to eat them. They are delicious!!!"
"I've ordered at least five decorated cakes from Elite the past few years, and each time I'm impressed by the cakes and the service! The decorations are so fun, and more importantly, the cake tastes delicious."
"Ever since the Crumbl sign and the wrap on the windows went up on the storefront at this location, it has been teasing folks for months and now they are finally open! Hooray!I took my kids after one of my kids had a ortho appointment (lol, don't judge me), but it's right by the ortho office, so very convenient. I feel like it was just yesterday when my husband packed us all up in the car to visit the Hilltop location when that store was the first in the area. He had first had Crumbl on a work trip in Utah and fell in love with the key lime pie cookie. We actually missed out then bc Hilltop had sold out before they could reach their closing hours. Since then, I think this will be the fourth location, so these Crumbls are multiplying fast!- Parking - Center lot. - TLC - The staff at this location were friendly and greeted us upon entry. The nice young lady offered to cash us out at the main cash instead of us trying to do it ourselves on the kiosk, which I thought was a nice gesture considering self-ordering kiosks are becoming a norm in this post-covid world. She was such a doll and was patient with my kids and I being indecisive.- Vibe - First, the smell is always so intoxicating when you walk in. Nothing like the smell of something sweet baking. The colors of the brand are simple, white, black and predominantly pink. - Noms - They rotate their flavors every week. I learned that they always have some sort of classic chocolate chip/chunk type cookie and then the rest is all kinds with various icings and toppings. This week (week of Jan 22), they had just launched a new kind of item. It's not a cookie, and it's not a roll, but it's baked in its own little foil square pan, and to me, it's almost like a bread-y thing, like a banana bread, or pumpkin bread consistency, It's topped with icing and they had announced on their social media pages that this was a new kind of launch. We also got Reese's Pieces and cookies and cream as they had run out of the cannoli one.My notes:- cookies are THICK and quite large- my fave consistently has been whatever classic chocolate chip/chunk cookie. In my opinion, the ones with the icings are just too sweet. And this is coming from me, a person who's teeth are ALL sweet! But for reference, I don't like too much icing on my cupcakes either, so you can process that how you will. However, a note on the chocolate chunk cookie this week, I think someone is being a little heavy handed on the salt! You can refer to picture, but pretty unpleasant to bite into a large cluster of regular salt. (I honestly thought it was going to be flakey salt by reading the description on their social media pages). I had to try and shake most of it off.- cookies are pricey, but nothing out of line with inflation these days and the more you buy, the bigger the discount. So yeah, you pay more to save more and end up with more cookie than you probably needed, but yolo LOL.- ordering is super easy, you only have 5 flavors. I like that and flavors rotate weekly so you won't get bored!- they also cater and make the cookies smaller for easy sharing! This is across the street from Target in Edinburgh, so super convenient stop after a meal at one of the neighboring restaurants or after a Target run!Enjoy, Friends and never stop exploring!"
"It had been my quest to locate a Filipino bakery that made the Ube Spanish Bread that I love. After visiting every Filipino Bakery that I could locate in the area my last option was Laguna. It took quite some time to be able to visit this bakery. Early in my search I called on a Saturday asking if they had Ube Spanish Bread. The answer was "Yes" but they were sold out & not making anymore because of their upcoming closure for a month. After their return my first visit was delayed for months because they are only open Friday, Saturday & Sunday. With great excitement my first & only visit found a well stocked bakery filled with goodies. But no Ube Spanish Bread.....Approaching the very unpleasant looking lady seated in a booth I inquired about the product. In a voice as unpleasant as she looked she took me to a display & indicated brusquely to a product. It did read Spanish Ube Bread but was not the purple bread I had come to love.I made the mistake of asking if they had the purple. I then received a lecture indicating that other stores that sold the bread just dyed them to make them purple. I didn't ask any more questions. Eager to leave I picked up one of her Spanish breads, a few other items and headed to her enclosed booth to pay. I didn't even take advantage of the Yelp Check In offer since she appeared irritated that someone had approached her booth to pay.Laguna's products were good, just not what I so eagerly anticipated. The business was clean & well stocked. But her enclosed booth left one with the feeling that the store wasn't a safe place. It probably is safe. The location is in Kempsriver Shopping Center, a large winding collection of stores & eateries located on the NW corner of the intersection of Kempsville and Indian River Roads.I probably won't return. There are other bakeries & shops with delightful Ube products and pleasant employees."
"Chicken ranch wrap is always on point. Service is always kind and meals come out in a reasonable time."
"This is a Cookie Monsters dream come true. They have had a store on First Colonial that my family have all been to. So when we were going to Walmart at Nimmo and saw the words Crumbl Cookie we all yelled out CRUMBL COOKIE. Drove up to see COMING SOON. We have been planning for a couple of weeks to come. Yah! I'm happy to say June 9th was the grand opening . My very first time. The store is sleek inside and so clean and pretty. Everything looks so good. Super friendly. Everyone inside yelling out welcome . The Best Start to my day. After this review I'm am definitely on a sugar HIGH!!!!! The cookies are the best .I'm excited to work my way through the menu."
"I just returned from my first trip to Sugar Mama's Bakeshoppe; I can tell you it will not be the last time I go! There were a couple of people in the shop when I got there and more came in while I was looking over the sweet treats. The young lady at the register called to back and another woman came out to help manage those who were waiting. I bought 2 slices of classic yellow cake with chocolate icing and a chocolate chip cookie. The portions are very generous; the cookie was huge! Everything was so good. The shop itself is very welcoming. It is nice and bright. The first thing one sees walking through the door is the case of cupcakes, cookies, slices of cake, etc. The walls are decorated with pictures of beautiful brides among models of some of the cakes that had been made. AND... they have fabulous DOG TREATS! They look good enough for people to eat! It's a charming place, very reminiscent of old fashioned bakeries with that home-town feel. I can definitely recommend it."
