"Sushi is one of those foods I can eat mass quantities of, but I was never keen on the idea of AYCE. A friend of ours recommended Volcano's AYCE since everything was made fresh, so we decided to give it a try... it exceeded expectations! The dinner special is $22.99 and includes appetizers, regular (maki) rolls, specialty rolls or entree choices, and dessert. I started with a green salad, which was swimming in water, and included a watered-down ginger dressing. The shrimp tempura was also good, but noticeably frozen.We ordered a variety of rolls for the table and my favorite was actually the vegetable dragon roll, which included a sizable portion of sweet potato. To wrap up the meal, we all opted for green tea ice cream, which tasted both icey and chalky; a disappointment.The ambience was modern and clean, and for a Sunday evening, you could tell they have a good following. I'm not sure we would return on our own volition, but we wouldn't say no to another dinner with friends."

"As a regular at Yaya Asian Gourmet, I can confidently say it's one of the best Chinese restaurants around! They have yet to disappoint, and every visit is a reminder of why I keep coming back. My go-to dishes are the Singapore Chow Mei Fun and House Special Fried Rice, which are always seasoned to perfection. Plus, they're generous with the shrimp, which is a big plus!Their General Tso's Chicken is another favorite--it's always served hot and consistently delicious, a level of quality you don't find at every spot. "When my cousin and I came, it was pretty busy. We were seated right away by a waitress, but I forgot her name. She had short brown hair and glasses. She asked if we wanted to sit on the high table or wherever. After we chose a spot and sat down, she gave us the menu and asked if we've been here before. I haven't, but my cousin has, so we didn't need explaining. We started off with onion rings. For our main course meal, we got the Preset Bucket and the House Bag, which was $20. It comes with 1/2 ounce crawfish, muscles, shrimp, and clams. All of them come with complimentary corn, sausage pork, and baby red potatoes. There's no substitution; you can take out, but you can't replace it. We got to pick our seasoning and I got the House Magic Dust; which is a combination of Rajun Cajun, lemon pepper, and garlic butter. After you pick your seasoning in the bag, you'll pick what kind of heat/spice level you want. I got the Entry (hot, but not too much) and my cousin got the Lava Flow (which you have to pay extra and sign a waiver). The waitress told us that the cook is new, so the food may come out slower. When she brought our water out, she kept checked on us and brought out hot, fresh, and crispy onion rings. They were perfect! She kept letting us know that the food is coming soon. We weren't mad because we understood, even though the food did take a long time to come out (it was busy after all). We finally got our food and she thanked us for waiting. In addition, she gave us extra Snow Crab Legs. We didn't get the corn, but that's okay because I'll take the Snow Crab Legs instead. I asked for gloves to eat with since this can get messy. She came out with 2 bags with buckets, one of them had all the sauce and the other for the shells. The seasoning inside the bag was flavored just right. My cousin asked for the hot seasoning/sauce on the side, so she can dip instead. I decided to try it and I was choking because it was super hot. It was extremely spicy for me, I had to chug my water. They weren't kidding that it was hot. The waitress kept checking on us and refilling our water. She made our experience much better than what it could have turned out to be. In the end, she said whatever we had left, we could take home. I would definitely come back again because the seafood and onion rings were amazing. The wait was longer than I'd like, but it was busy and there was only one cook (who was new), so what can you expect? I had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Would recommend!"

"I thought I'd treat myself and dine in today instead of working and eating at the same time. I was greeted with a smile and received excellent service throughout my stay. I was also provided with a take out menu and that next time I can call ahead and pay on arrival. Nice!I chose the "make your own" with the delicious chicken teriyaki with fried rice and steamed/roasted veggies. The veggies were sautéed in something tasty, the sweet teriyaki flavor on the chicken paired so well with the fried rice. I was given two sauces; the white sauce (sweet yum yum sauce) and the red sauce (hot and fiery). I bathed my rice in them and mixed everything up like an uncultured person - it was amazing. And all that for 6.99 (fried rice is .99c extra), I've found myself a new favorite lunch spot."

"First timers! This location in Chesapeake, it's definitely a good one. The decorations inside are gorgeous, very cute place. You could order your food from Computer screens and pay without even having to speak to anyone. There is a button that you can press for someone to come out and speak with you if need be, which I like But a little standoffish too. The food is definitely five stars, absolutely delicious, my husband and I both got sandwiches. I got the katsu he got the CNR chicken sandwich. It was definitely very fresh, as well as the fries, and you can add a fry and soda for an extra two dollars.The one thing that I didn't like was the fact that when I asked to switch my cheeses to provolone rather than the American, it seem like it was a problem, which I know this food can't be premade so I just wasn't understanding that at all. Not everybody likes American cheese, and the sandwich I wanted had American cheese on it. Also, when we asked some questions about the menu and just different things of that nature, it didn't seem like the woman who came out, really knew how to answer our questions about the business, which just kind of made me uncomfortable, but all in all we will be back, and that is solemnly because the food is delicious!"

"I was craving for some Asian cuisine so I went on trusty ol' Yelp to show me what was in the area and came across Forbidden Palace. What was intriguing about the place was that they had variety on their menu. Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese, Cantonese etc...Upon walking in, we were greeted and seated quickly. Our server was very attentive to us as well. For appetizer I got the Crab Rangoon and ordered some sushi, Volcano Roll and Yummy Roll. Everything was delicious! The coolest part is that my order came to me on a robot server! I've seen videos of them on the internet but never seen one in person before. I thought that was pretty cool."

"If you are craving/wanting to try Filipino food, you NEED to come here. It's similar to cafeteria style. They had a lot of traditional Filipino dishes and some that I've never heard of before too. I got the pancit with two entrees last time and it was so much food that you'll probably have enough for two meals. The lechon belly and sisig were so good, so if you don't know what to get, at least get these two. To be honest, I don't think you could go wrong with any of their food items. The pricing was worth it for the amount of food that you get. Definitely try some of their sweets too! I can't wait to come back here again when I'm in the area."

Now you can enjoy that Soju shot and a draft beer for $8.95 or four classic chicken strips with fries for $10.99. Specials do change from time to time so do check for new promotions. Now to the menu items, like them soy garlic wings which are always so delicious and crunchy. Or the Bulgogi which is another of my favorites, so so delicious with some seasoned zucchini fries or seasoned fries. Another must try are the loaded Bulgogi fries or the Korean Tacos (Spicy Chicken, or Marinated Ribeye). And you can also enjoy your Korean Donuts or Mochi Ice Cream for sweet deserts. Also check for future events like Karaoke, and family events."

Weekends they don't do the soup but on weekdays if you ask the owner's wife she'll tell her husband (the chef) to make Jjamppong (seafood noodle soup) or Sundubu-jjigae (tofu soup). This place is super good and everyone we've brought enjoyed it and will usually ask to go back again. Don't skip or sleep on this one. Try it out and enjoy the delicious meal they offer."

There were way more options in Virginia beach to get good quality Chinese take out. I had this place bookmarked and happened to drive by and decide to give it a shot. I am so happy that I did. The food was great. Very fresh tasting and not greasy. The fried rice was actual fried rice. Not the yellow looking rice that I cant figure out how they make it that color. Fried rice should be colored by soy sauce so I cant understand the yellow rice. But I digress. I had the pepper steak. Great flavor lacking steak. My husband had the ribs and he loved them. This will be my go to place for chinese food from now on."

I would definitely order it again.My mom her food and she tried one chicken wing was not so good. The grease wasn't appeasing in her opinion. "My first time here- stumbled across the restaurant by accident. Somehow the universe makes sure that you are where you need to be. They seem to be out of a bunch of stuff, so I went with the Classic Crispy Chicken sandwich, and made it Deluxe (+$1.50) because I enjoy vegetables on my sandwich. Made a combo of it, because who doesn't like curly fries?!? Got an iced green tea, which was pretty good as green tea goes. The sandwich was excellent- everything I want in a fried chicken sandwich- crispy, hot, juicy, slightly spicy. The fries were tasty and fresh. Ingrid was very helpful to a poor old first-timer, and the total before tip came to $11.98, so it was cheaper than the other places nearby. I'm not even worrying about the calories because I walked here! TL;DR- hot, fresh, delicious lunch in 5 minutes for $12 plus tip. How can you go wrong? I will definitely be back."

"I was driving down Monarch Way and noticed this restaurant took over the space of my beloved Den. I decided to stop in and check out what replaced my favorite college spot. The menu was extensive, and it took me a minute to decide but I went with a beef bulgogi sandwich and got an iced tea from Gong Cha. The sandwich was sooo good. It was hot packed with fresh and crisp lettuce and tomatoes and a savory fried egg. I will definitely be having that again. I also tried a couple of buns which were soft with a hint sweetness. The staff was friendly and passionate about the food stating they had many favorites. Even though I'll miss the Den dearly, I approve of this replacement for the variety. The inside is also very pink and aesthetic as well if that's your kind of thing. Overall, think it's worth a try for sure."

Anyway, the location is convenient to shopping and there are a few other eateries in the vicinity. It's in a strip mall but don't let that deter you, the place is clean and I've never had any issues concerning my food or the customer service I receive when I'm physically there or placing my order over the phone. With that being said it's your standard Chinese take out joint with the standard choices."
