Cool little kayak and rafting outfitter located down on the Onancock Wharf. We briefly meet one of the owners while out front taking some photos and she chatted with us and also provided us with some pamphlets with their services. I didn't catch her name but she very friendly and accommodating. They also have a little store there T-Shirts and other Onancock related knick knacks. If you're looking to hit the water Onancock with a kayak or canoe, this is the place to go. I know I'll be back.

Storefront, right on the bay\marina. Restaurant right there as well. We rented a Kayak & SUP to paddle through the beautiful bay. Thanks Bill & Mary. We will be back.

I'm so happy I found Mary and Bill Burnham and have done many kayaking trips with them! My focus is the beautiful Eastern Shore. They're professional, informative, take care of everything, and a delight to spend hours or days with...on and off the water!

My grandson just got a job with them.....first interview they didn't show....second interview they cancled minutes before after he was qlmost there!! Got the job and the second day they had me sign a waiver accepting possibly $2,000.00 so he could do his job. WTF!!! WHO DOES THAT!!! Now let's see if they pay him for his training today.....betting they won't. Hope he finds another job!!!

We kayaked out to the barrier islands of Virginia's Eastern shore with Burnham Guides. Our guide, Bill, was very knowledgeable about the area and wildlife. We saw so many lovely shore birds as we paddled through the marsh. After a delicious lunch on the beach, we walked the beach and collected some gorgeous seashells. If you find yourself on the Eastern Shore of VA, don't miss the opportunity to kayak with Burnham Guides.

Mary was a pleasure to work with and really came through to make our trip incredibly special. We needed bikes for a day trip to Parksley and of course since we're not from the area, we had no helmets, bike locks, or any way to transport the bikes from Onancock. Mary, without missing a beat, had us covered for all of that. She provided us with helmets, locks, and delivered the bikes to Parksley right on time!! Thank you to Burnham Guides for meeting our needs and making the trip memorable. It was a pleasure working with you and I will recommend you to everyone I know visiting the area.

We booked two days of kayaking with Burnham Guides - and it was spectacular. They are careful, interesting, and kind! The scenery was beautiful. You MUST go!

Our family has been on many guided trips around the world and no service we have found really compares to the way that Burnham Guides treat its guests. We have gone out on day trips with Bill and Mary from their place in Onancock, Virginia and have gone on longer excursions led by them in Florida (and beyond) and we are huge fans. Whether you are an experienced kayaker looking for adventure on an extended trip or a novice paddle boarder just trying not to fall in the water, Bill and Mary (not in that order) are awesome and worth every penny.
