Budget Lodge

The front-desk attendant is behind a thick plastic wall. Our non-smoking room smelled heavily of smoke and mildew which made my throat sore in the morning. Paint missing from the stained walls, stained bedsheets, everything generally feels dirty. The bathroom door wouldn't close. The bed was pretty comfortable, though. If you can help it, don't stay here. Unfortunately they don't give refunds for cancellations. Edit: Throughout the night we had THREE people knock on our door between 10PM - 3 AM. At one point my boyfriend yelled at the door to a persistent man in a wifebeater "get out of here or we will call the cops!" And he turned his high beams on and his car alarms right outside of our door. Absolutely horrible. We left around 4AM when we thought the coast was clear.

Do not stay here. One star because we cannot give zero. We could t even make it two hours in this flop house. Sex workers and illegal drug dealers operating out of the first floor when we arrived. Pulled back sheets to find evidence of bed bugs. Demanded refund and the two managers initially responded by saying they had just returned from New York and had no idea what we were talking about---as if that in any way explains why their hotel has bed bugs. One of the managers was threatening and clearly just didn't want to be confronted by women about his hotel's public health problem. No apologies; didn't even seem concerned there were bed bugs. Absolutely filthy property with unscrupulous and backward thinking management.

Really good room, just like the pictures online. Mattress was comfortable and the staff was really friendly. Enjoyed the stay. Safe area .. will definitely stay again again

Do not stay here. Our room had cereal left in upper cabinets from previous tenants, floors were not clean, head board had serveral handprints and the bathroom was horrid. We also had people banging on our door asking for the previous tenants so they could purchase marijuana until 3am. We brought our issues to the front desk and refused to give us a refund due to their policy. I wouldn't risk saving a penny by staying at this hotel.

Add me to the ones who are saying if I could give it no stars, I would. Yuck!!! We drove from Pennsylvania to Suffolk and by the time we got to town, it was almost 2:00am. I have felt cleaner after a week of camping. We asked for a non-smoking room but it reeked of smoke. The laminate on the floor was uneven. The refrigerator was open and there was water all over the floor. The towels were thin; I've had bed sheets thicker. They had stains. The pillow cases had stains. There were weird "fuzzy things" on the sheets. The sheets were rough. The shower was chipped and stained. I stood on a wash cloth (stain side down) because I didn't want to touch the shower. There was either a drug deal about to happen or had just happened in the room next to us. The people were peering out the window when we got there. I'm not sure if they creeped me out more or the thought of bed bugs. Normally I can sleep anywhere. I fell asleep in the grass at a music festival. I could not sleep here. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this place. I would have been more comfortable in the car in the Walmart parking lot.
