A roach hanging out on the pig. Smokey as heck inside. Watched cook drop a bag of food and serve it. Told them about the roach, did nothing.

Oct 26Came here a couple times. Not bad. It used to be good for a quick bite while on the run. Staff is fine. Sides arent anything to write home about. Burgers are alright. BBQ was def not worth the price. I rank my decisions to eat somewhere again as:1 star - if someone else buys it I won't eat it, I would rather go hungry.2 star - if I'm hungry, no other options are open and someone buys it - I would consider eating it3 star - I'm ok with eating it as long as someone else pays 4 star - I will eat again and pay for it and be a semi-regular customer 5 star - I will travel for good food and pay good money and be back on a regular basis and maybe even pay for yours just so we can go

This place was so welcoming! The staff was super friendly, the decor and feeling when you walk in was very positive. You order at the register and they ring you your food-and quick! We ordered the chopped NC BBQ and it was delicious! So moist and full of flavor. Good size amount for a sandwich too.Coleslaw was amazing! One of the best I've had. Not too soupy and had a good taste. Sebring size with sandwich left me wanting more though.Fries were good, but for $3.79 for sides, it was not very many. I expected a larger portion. Other than the side prices being a little steep , this will definitely become a favorite. They also have burgers, ribs, chicken tenders, and much more. Sides also include green beans and okra, and other veggies. Meals are $16.99 with 2 sides and a drink.The girls working were so sweet and helpful. So glad it's just about 5 minutes away!

I ordered 8 oz of the brisket and what I got was such a mess. It was covered in sauce and it wasn't tender at all. Honestly I took a single bite then threw the rest out. What a waste.

So we were in the area and seen some really nice pics for Bubba and franks. Serviced by Sandy, who gave awesome service and very knowledgeable of the menu gave the following recommendation to get the Brisket Philly combo with okra and sweet teaIt was great will be back next time.

EDIT 12/6/2023I got lunch here today and wasn't pleased. I ordered my usual, a bacon cheeseburger with only lettuce. I received no bacon, and when I brought it up to the new cashier who took my order, she wanted to argue with me instead of just admitting there was a miscommunication and fix the problem. She clearly needs more training. Also, this isn't the first time they messed up my bacon cheeseburger order. I don't know what's so difficult about it.

It had been my experience that most of these Smokehouse BBQ joints in the area are "ok, but I've had better". Bubba & Franks Smokehouse made me have a refreshing view of that old clique of thinking. Couldn't have been a better choice for Friday night dinner. I had the Brisket quesadillas and a Bacon Cheese Burger. Wifey had the Fried Chicken Sandwich. Unfortunately she wanted a fried chicken dinner, and thats what we ordered. But the small print revealed the dinner was actually a sandwich. The quesadillas are a hit! Tender smoked brisket cooked to perfection heated between a flour tortilla with cheese and served with sour cream and pico-d. Be sure and have napkins for this one cause you gonna need em. The burger was even more amazing! It was at least a quarter-pound patty grilled-smoked to perfection with cheese, bacon and the kicker, dill pickle chips. The fried chicken sandwich was served hot and delicious. Bubba & Franks hit the spot on all levels. Food was ready when we arrived and it was fresh and hot. Always good food. Chicken and dumplings were very good. Pulled pork good, smoked hamburgers also worth a try. Prepared quickly and politely. Smokehouse ambiance despite being in a strip mall. Lots of take away so must be good.
