This was a cute and fun experience. Highly recommend So many rows of berries... they were soooo delicious! I make a strawberry pie and a strawberry cheesecake and the berries were delicious!! They also had a food truck out there... i don't know if they are there every time they are open but that food was delicious!!!

Beginning of the season, well marked rows of different varieties. You get the buckets their and it's $15 to fill, if you bring the bucket back you save .50 next time. There's also plants in the greenhouses Such a nice day to go pick strawberries and can't wait to eat them

We headed to Browder's on Easter Day. I'm so happy they were open. It gave us a chance to do something as a family in a day we all had off work and school. It was a beautiful location. When we arrived parking was easy. We walked in to where the vegetables were, they looked amazing. We ended up buying a flat of mixed and matched vegetables and herbs. Then my family of four headed out to pick some strawberries. The strawberry fields were large and easy to walk around while keeping distance from other families who were packing as well. The pricing was very reasonable as well.Checkout their Facebook page for updates

This is one of the best strawberry fields I have been too. The strawberries are sweet and big. If it is closer to me, I would visit every weekend of the strawberry season.

Went here for some strawberry picking and it was a pretty neat experience. The whole thing was self-serve, honor, system based. Talk about trust. I appreciated that true home-town feel.I liked how they give you a general map of where to pick. That helps as the area can get picked off quickly and you'd find yourself roaming for awhile just to find some "ok" strawberries. However, with the guide, they lead you to where the good stuff is. One big note, I would highly suggest you get there early in the day AND in the season. I feel like we arrived a little later in the season and missed out on the super delicious stuff. Still can't complain b/c we had some great berries but I can't help but to wonder if we got there first to see what would've been available. :)Thank you for a wonderful experience!Food Taste: 5Overall Service: n/a (there were people working but I didn't engage anyone)Value of food to cost: 5Facility: 5Repeat customer: yesDog Friendly: no

We had a wonderful Mother's Day Eve morning strawberry picking at Browder's! Located in Smithfield, not too far from the historic Main Street district, Browder's offers SUPER delicious, reasonably priced pick-your-own strawberries. CASH ONLY - so be prepared. $10 per bucket (which I really, really dig more than the per pound charged most places because you know for sure what you're getting into with the tab at the end), and you can fit quite a bit in a bucket (take a peek at the pictures). My boys and I did a basket and there were plenty of fat, ripe strawberries and several of the small sweet ones that are great for shortcake. Lots of parking, easy access, and good wholesome fun for kiddos. Afterward, we hit the historic district in Smithfield for some lunch and the farmer's market - can't get better than that!
