Bread of Life Bakery

Just wow! Soon as you walk in the door you smell fresh baked goods. It's very nice, clean and I love the decor. Plus it's family run. I love mom & pop shops, cause they are more personable and the taste of the food just adds to it! They ,also sell items for you to buy. I wanted to try everything, but I couldn't resist trying the different flavors of thumb print cookies. And I love the special touch on how they box it for you! Ooh! The thumb prints we're so delicious. I am so looking forward to going back, and trying more of their home made pastries and bread! Definitely a place to relax and enjoy delicious baked good!

Literally a hidden gem! From the outside, the bakery seemed closed. But my friend and I were curious as we walked up to it. And I tell you, this place is absolutely a great find. You come in and you're immediately welcomed by the warmth from the oven in the kitchen and then the wonderful smell of bread and cookies! Seems relatively new, the place is clean and bright. You are greeted by the owner's mom (and mother-in-law) who absolutely is charming and personable. It's a true family run business! She tells you all about the thumb print cookies, the bite sized biscotti's (they have full sized ones too!), cinnamon rolls, breads. They have cupcakes too. I ordered 5 biscotti's and a chocolate dipped oatmeal cookie to go. Prices are reasonable. I love the oatmeal cookie and the raspberry and white chocolate biscotti. They also serve coffee although I didn't try this time. Definitely happy to have found this bakery!

My husband and I found this bakery while on vacation in Virginia Beach. It definitely is a hidden gem! We purchased individual cinnamon rolls, and were not disappointed. Our vacation was over and it was time to return home, but not without returning to the bakery. We purchased two pans of cinnamon rolls, one with icing and one without. The people that own the bakery are very friendly, and it was a joy to walk through their door. I wish we lived closer for a return visit, but I guess we will have to visit them next year.

This guy is a baker's baker! Great products, great service! We are blessed to have this 'heavenly' bakery!

We've been there twice and had their sweet rolls, Italian bread, challah, and another bread. Everything was delicious and fresh. Very reasonably priced and family run. Will be there weekly. Very nice owners who take pride in their product

Great cinnamon rolls, cookies, and Danish. Haven't tried the breads yet but this new bakery could use local support.

Amazing bread. You absolutely feel the connection of the owners to their mission. Truly bread of life. Add this stop to your errands. No reason to buy store bought bread!

We stopped into Bread of Life the other day to grab a few tasty treats for the family and for clients. We were greeted by the friendly staff and enjoyed watching them create the baked goods while we shopped. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the pastries are DELICIOUS. My favorite was the cinnamon roll---but the muffins, cookies, brownies, and biscotti were also amazing. We will definitely be back to see them soon.
