Bob's Fishing Hole

Love fishing here! We're from the PNW and miss all of our fishing spots back home so we were excited to have found this gem! Reminds us of back home. Daughter caught 10 fish all together so far (we're currently still here lol). Haven't had any luck with catfish which is our main goal but we hear it's a good spot for them! It's so peaceful and relaxing here. Also super affordable. The cashier in the shop was friendly and they have plenty of stuff from snacks to reels and rods. Also you can rent a boat or fish from the banks! Overall our favorite fishing place here in VA so far.

We are on vacation in Chesapeake visiting our daughter, grandson and son-in-law. We all came here on Sunday and had a remarkable time. We came back on Tuesday to enjoy the beauty of the water and the peacefulness that comes with it. Very polite people own this and their generosity is outstanding. This is one place that I would definitely look forward to coming to any time I could. It is good for your mind, your soul and for your daily peace . I think God that we were introduced to this place.

Friendly service with every lure known to man. I catch fish every time I go. Great place for Kayaking.

What a great little place to not only launch your boat but to do some bank fishing.$5 to use the boat ramp and only $1 to bank fish.Rent a jon boat or canoe for $20 a day.

I would totally give this place 5 stars if it had more ramps and sturdier docks. We just live down the street but only go during the week in the summer and weekends in the fall and early spring. In the summer months it's just too crowded weekends with pleasure boaters, tournament folks and everyone else. I do love how friendly they always are. Especially when we had a trailer issue and didn't think we were going to make it home. It is just 5 bucks so you can't beat that!

If you just dock fish, or launch a boat, this is the place to do it! Fishing tourneys every week, the store stocks some the best artificial bait out there, as well as minnows/cricket/worms etc! 5$ to launch a boat and 1$ to dock fish, you can't beat that. Great friendly staff, kid/family friendly. I've been going there for years, and they keep upgrading and improving.

Best spot to go fishing.. Bait shop was awesome, they had live bait.. Kid friendly, it's only a buck to fish on the bank and 5 to launch your boat..

Took my son today and whike thw bite at yhe launch was alow fir us our neighbor was raking in pickeral bass large crappie and even a decent 13 incher crappie. the dock we chose needs repair but the shoo staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I will take my son back.

This place is absolutely amazing and I couldn't ask for a better place to spend time with my family and fish!! Tons of fish, tons of fun and tons of peace!!! If your looking for an amazing place to fish with an amazing view... this is the place you want to go!!
