Blue Bee Cider

Checking out Blue Bee Cider's new location (the last time I had been was when they were south of the river) was a delightful experience. The ample parking made getting there hassle-free, setting a positive tone right from the start. Blue Bee ensures a warm welcome for both humans and their four-legged friends, offering a dog-friendly environment inside and out. This inclusivity definitely enhances the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for pet lovers.Visiting during the Mystic Market added an extra layer of charm to the outing. The market atmosphere was lively and engaging, offering more than just great cider but an enjoyable community event as well.The cider selection is noteworthy, particularly the Aragon 1904, an off-dry cider with a crisp and balanced flavor that stood out. Service is where Blue Bee truly shines. The staff members are not only friendly but also knowledgeable, making the tasting experience informative and enjoyable.

Cute new location, a little off the beaten path. Does not have the biggest parking lot lots of yummy drinks to choose from alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Very festively decorated for the holiday season. Very comfortable place to bring in food or games and just to hang out and have a yummy drink.

Blue Bee is back and better than ever in their new spot on Bethlehelm Rd by Libbie Mill.I am so happy for the new owners Mackenzie and Taylor and love what they have done with the space! You must check them out!The tasting room is so cozy with plenty of bar seating and comfy couches. The cider menu has all the old favorites with a new spin of a "song pairing" and I am anxiously awaiting new flavors once harvest happens and Taylor starts experimenting with new vintages!They have a snack menu too- chips, hmnad, charturie boards, and plan on rotating food trucks.They have nice outdoor seating on a spacious deck and a parking lot too ( approximately 30 spots beteeen their private lot and adjacent busineses) My rating rationale +1 Service+1 Food~Taste/flavor/quality+1 Presentation+1 Atmosphere/vibe+1 Value

WOW. This place is just so cool. First off, find me another dog-friendly (inside) cidery. Oh yeah, that's right, you can't! This place is one of a kind truly. We were welcomed by the owners firsthand upon walking in and they took so much time explaining their concept and favorite flavors/recommendations. Turns out their flights are super affordable so we got to try a bit of everything and it was all SO GOOD. Unique flavors that I'd come back for any day of the week - outdid almost every other cidery I've been to in the states to be quite honest. Plus the interior is just so freaking cool and creative - such a fun theme with really well-selected decor that makes the overall vibe of this place into one of the most "feel-good" spots in all of RVA.

Friendly cute place but surprised at the flavors. If you're looking for sweet, this may not be for you. However the vibes are nice, the place is comfy, and the staff is friendly. If you want to go for a good conversation about random things then sit at the bar and enjoy a glass.

Best cider I've had in a while. Great service! They have Cider Frose' - it's also a great little chill hang out spot too!

Can't speak to the food. I can speak to the cider. The place is under new folks and they are doing awesome stuff. Wonderful and dry with awesome and expansive flavor profiles that really highlight the varietals used in the ciders. They also have a few sweeter ciders but those too are quite good (coming from the guy that does not drink sweet ciders). The servers are always nice and willing to answer questions. The tasting room is light and airy with a variety of seating options. Give this place a try. If you went to the old location then give them another try. This was my second time there and it was so much better! My only negative is price point but it's so good I can get past that.

Love the new location! Parking was easy, staff was friendly, and the space was easy going. Needed help choosing my flight options and was walked through the menu very easily. Hewe's Crab cider was DELICIOUS! Can't wait to visit again.

We heard about Blue Bee Cider on our first day in Richmond from a local distillery- we were getting the low down on various breweries, meaderies and cideries around town. The space is gorgeous, large, bright and then there's the lounge space with comfy sofas and plush seating. Very nice. We opted for flights and I don't think there was a cider I didn't like, but I really loved the Firecracker- we bought a bottle to take home! It's ginger infused and is just lovely in the cider. I also enjoyed the Mill Race Bramble- a blackberry and raspberry infused cider. John loved the Rocky Ridge Reserve- a barrel aged cider had a little spice on it! Hewe's Crab was bright and fruity- very fresh, perfect for a hot day. The owners were fabulous too! They gave us tips for food and things to do on a rainy day- since out plans for Saturday were rained out! If I land in Richmond again, I will be sure to stop in again!

Great drinks very comfortable ambiance. Fairy hair garden got us in the door and we loved it! Will be back with our dog because they're dog friendly!
