Blu Farm To Table

Came back after some time! Still love this place and their ever changing menu! Service was awesome, the food came out fast and hot, it was perfect for a quick lunch! The place was beautifully decorated and the bathrooms were so unique! Will definitely return in the summer for the rooftop seating!

Amazing food, cocktails, and bar vibe! Service at the bar/cocktail lounge is great, and it's a really nice place to come out with friends, or on a date night and enjoy some snacks and drinks!

What a small but beautiful restaurant! Offering inside and outside seating close to water. This restaurant offers farm to table meals so the menu is ever changing, We arrived when they were offering brunch. The menu had something for everyone, just about. I will note there was no kid menu - so that might be a deal breaker for some. We decided on a few dishes, my favorite was the mushroom omelette! It was very flavorful and delicious. The chicken and biscuits were spicy but with good flavor. I look forward to going back and trying different combinations. For now, enjoy the photos!

Crab cake sandwich was sublime. Love the aïoli sauce homemade chips were a nice touch.No truffle mac & cheese today for lunch.

On the days the store is open next to Blu it's great, while you wait you can shop and always find something as a gift or for yourself like the balsamic vinegars they carry. Food was good, atmosphere on a warm day upstairs was wonderful catching a breeze, looking at the water sometimes having entertainment and seeing some of Downtown Washington

Great food I got the lobster BLT I would rate it a 9/10. The cocktail I got was the "v card" I was not expecting this drink to that spicy lol. If you like spicy things that is the perfect drink for you. The spice in not overpowering at all just the right amount. I would rate this an overall 9.5/10. Great customer service. Oh and also sit outside and enjoy the view of the waterfront. Don't second guess grab some lunch here!

First thing, the entrance is on the water side not the street side.Second, make reservations for brunch.Third, enjoy! Cocktails are good, and the food was delicious. We had the lobster french toast and the breakfast empanadas and both were great.

In a nutshell, underwhelming. You can tell this is a new place, as there seem to be kinks they are working out, but given the reviews written they look to be on a downslope. The seating isn't very comfortable, and I question the ability to put 5 or 6 at the tables that were set that way. Nor could I imagine sitting on that couch between other people. It's a small space so think, intimate atmosphere. The service was fair. While the server was very kind and helpful, he wasn't... attentive. Given the price point, I was surprised how infrequently we saw him. There was live music when we were there, and the musician was super friendly, with the table next to us ending up having a wonderful conversation with him, and he was amazing talking them through The menu was VERY limited. And I was surprised how average the food was given the price point. I know Sunday brunch is bougie, but a watery vegetable frittata was unimpressive. I actually thought, "I could take this home and cook it more so it's not runny." I ask you, should you ever make that statement at a restaurant?Coffee options were limited. French press coffee but no latte or flavor options. Sadness given the upscale billing. You enter through the back of the building, and the parking is odd. It's more than a little off putting to walk by the dumpster before you enter a restaurant. I like what they're aiming for, but I'm leaving disappointed. Maybe on a non rainy day the rooftop is open and you can enjoy the view and relax, but without that this place is better left unvisited.

The ambiance was great, it felt warm, inviting, the server was great, helpful and attentive. The food was bad. We had overcooked tuna, charred beef tenderloin that was undercooked (so it had an acrid burnt flavor and was bloody at medium rare). The food looked great, just was poorly prepared and we couldn't eat most of it. Maybe it's just growing pains for a newer restaurant, but it was very disappointing to pay that much for a meal so underwhelming.

was looking forward to have lunch there for the first time and surely last. Ive ordered a glass of wine that had to wait for literally 20min, only after that the server took my lunch order. waited for another 30min for the dish to be served but without silverware! that took another 15min . needless to say the mood was ruined. the fish was ok.
