Great people and great food, gas, fishing boat ramp. Like a small grocery store. Clea bathroom.

Despite attempts to eat healthy....walked in for quick breakfast and saw their sausage egg biscuit and wasn't able to say no. It tasted completely home made and fresh including sausage. I'm glad I don't live closer...because I'd be eating these every day!

My father grew up on a farm in Blackwater during the Great Depression. Because the family farmed, they ate well. This was a point of pride for them.My father left Blackwater, became a businessman and had a family. Despite uprooting, he returned to Blackwater every year to introduce me, my brother and sister, to the site of my grandfather's farm. The trip always included a trip to The Blackwater Trading Post.I was there with my daughter last week and was both shocked and pleased at the restoration of the store. Clearly a labor of love.

Finally back open hopefully the gas pumps are working. They used to have a glass case on the wall of old rattles that fell off rattlesnakes who are shedding in the area. This thing was full of all different sized ones. I love their BBQ and deviled eggs and they have all the usual candy bars and junk food stuff. I like the old management better but willing to give this new start another chance.

Came in to establishment to what sounds like people recording a video. I am a person of color and felt VERY uncomfortable here. I felt like the only thing missing from being a Klan meeting was the ghost ensemble. Got wings and they were very nasty. 0/10 will never eat here again

I did not want to even give one star. Stopped today to try the frog legs they advertised, but they were horrible, my husband and my self will never go there again. I like frog legs but these had tons of coating with very little meat . It sucked . The meat was about as small as a rain frogs , over twenty bucks. OUTRAGEOUS.

Stopped in to look menu over , decided to order wings , a hamburger and a tea to go. Got home unpacked to find the hambuger was under cooked , no topping on burger that was ordered, so I paid 16 dollars for a plain burger didn't even have the cheese. The wings were ordered as spicy they were plain BBq sauce on them. So over all nothing was correct and the tea was awful bitter. Save your money and time go to Monks.

Blackwater Trading Post is great for being what it is: a country store / bait shop/ breakfast - lunch - snack - gas station - boat ramp. Had passed on the water several years ago, but came by land this time. They have delicious, rich, ice cream. And the decor is genuine swamp culture; see rattler art. Will be back with the grandkids.

Their food is so good! My favorite so far is the club sandwich! Clean and welcoming environment.
