This place was amazing. I called at 1 and asked if it was reservation only they allowed me to Make a reservation for 1:30 for 3 and when we arrived our table was ready. Our waiter I believe his name was Matthew was exceptional he knew what we needed before we could even request it. They had a wonderful Mother's Day menu and I ordered the flounder imperial. I loved that with my daughter's meal from the children's menu it still came with two sides and was one right. They were accommodating, the staff was extremely friendly and worked well together like a big family and the atmosphere was inviting. We will surely return. My flounder was seasoned well, the spinach artichoke was the freshest I've ever had and it was a bonus the salted hot out of the oven pretzel sticks it was served with.

My husband and I always have a beautiful dining experience at Bill's. Their Martinis large and outstanding as are all of the meals they offer. My Surf & Turf was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is very soothing, and the wait staff is attentive. Love this little fine dining restaurant.

"Tell ol' Bill when he comes homeAnything is worth a tryLet me make it plain as dayAll the world I would defy"(Bob Dylan)While waiting for our Chincoteague Island hotel to get our room ready, we took the short drive to check out their downtown and had a very nice lunch at Bill's.I went to their lunch menu and picked out the Fried Oyster Basket ($17.50) with half a dozen huge oysters, with a side of fries and apple cole slaw.Simply put, my lunch was great. I wanted to try some of the local seafood and those oysters sure didn't disappoint me. They were big, well cooked (neither soggy or overly crispy, and just about perfect. My wife went for a nice cheeseburger with the apple cole slaw ($12.50) and she liked it a lot. Our server Liz was personable and efficient. Thanks, Bill for a pleasant, fairly priced and delicious lunch.

Food: cream of crab soup - 3.5/5 stars - consistency doesn't look appetizing as it looks like congealed gravy; the flavor however is ON POINT; wished it had more lump crab meat Crab cake - 3/5 - For $40, the 2 cakes were 50% filler...disappointing. Clam strips 4/5 - For $25, the portion was a bit small; yet the texture was crispyService: friendly, no frills, attentiveAmbiance: casual, clean

Went here to celebrate my birthday. The place was super busy, but we had reservations. We did have to wait for a bit, but I expected that since it was memorial weekend. We ordered grilled oysters and soups for our appetizers and I did the stuffed shrimp for my main. Everything was delicious, we were stuffed. I would definitely come here again.

Theres no indoor dining but it was also freezing outside. The waitress took my GF allergy seriously and the menu was labeled. All the sides were gluten free per the waitress. Our waitress, Julie, was very attentive so shout out to her!Ok, so let's get into it. The salad - they should rework this menu item. It was a nice seasoned shrimp salad but it had a cup of the dole tropical fruit salad placed onto of it. The salad was not enhanced by the fruit salad and could've been left off. The sweet tea was just right! Sweetened but not enough to put you into a diabetic coma. The shrimp stuffed with crab was IMPECCABLE. It had a bit of a mustard sauce on it that set it off. Service was good and quick!

So, I thoroughly had no idea what to expect from this little Main Street local eatery. Sometimes not knowing what to expect turns out to be the best thingThe service and food were wonderful, as was the atmosphere. The prices are in line for the quality . If there were just one thing that would've made this experience any better, it might've been a water view, BUT, having said that, the rest made up for it by a mile. I had the fried oyster basket. The oysters were lightly fried, breaded, not battered. There was an amazing Granny Smith apple coleslaw and crispy fries, yummy. My husband had the crabcake sandwich, also amazing. If you happen to be visiting Chincoteage, don't pass up the chance to eat here, you'll thank me later.

Bill's Prime Seafood & Steaks on Chincoteague Island is a delightful find for anyone craving top-notch seafood and steaks. The moment you walk in, you're welcomed with a friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The seafood here is fantastic--especially the crab cakes, which are perfectly seasoned, absent of filler, and cooked to perfection. The cream of crab soup is delish, as well as the oysters Rockefeller You can tell the chefs at Bill's take pride in their work. Don't miss out on the fried seafood platter--it's a generous serving that's perfect for sharing, making it an excellent choice for groups or families. The service is great too. The staff is attentive without being overbearing, ensuring your dining experience is pleasant from start to finish.Parking is abundant, which is a big plus. However, be prepared for it to get quite busy on the weekends. It's a popular spot, and for good reason! The ambiance strikes a nice balance between casual and upscale, making it suitable for both a laid-back meal or a special occasion. In short, Bill's is a must-visit on Chincoteague Island. Great food, excellent service, and a welcoming vibe make it a standout choice.
