Big Mama's Country Restaurant

Food was really good the first time i ate here but after that didnt get nothing but disappointment.

I've been meaning to post this. A few weeks back had some car trouble. Was in Boykins. My wife and I on foot went through an old school Main Street. Not much remains open. We were next to what was the Butcher's Block. We were hungry and looking for some good grace. We sure found it at Big Mama's. Big Mama's embodies family and southern hospitality. I felt like one of the family here in Boykins when I was there. We splurged. My wife had the catfish and I had the Hamburger steak. Maybe the best meal I have ever had. The prices are so affordable. Truly unbeatable. They're open until about 8 pm so make the trek and find this gem. More over, we leave. We get back to our car lo and behold everything is working and still does. Must be that Big Mama's magic. Big Mama's....when you're here, you're family. Thank you Mama. Be back soon.

Has great soul food. The collared greens are Soo good. I always get extra. The seafood is really good too.
