This lovely green space is located near the more historic part of Williamsburg. No playground here but there are a couple of sculptures, several benches and lots of old growth trees providing shade. There is a lovely brick walkway that surrounds the central park area and it's a nice spot. Picnic, sit, enjoy some time away from the touristic rush not far away. There is some street parking.[Review 12165 overall, 1949 of 2019.]

We stumbled upon this park just riding around and decided to stop by for a few minutes. There is only street parking so we parked across the street on the side of the curb. It was a quiet oasis tucked away from the busy hustle and bustle of all the tourist traffic. The park had a lot of trees so there was plenty of shade and quite a few benches. Definitely bring a blanket or something to sit on, the wooden benches were old and had green stuff on them. I wouldn't want to sit directly on them. The park did not have any playground equipment so I would not recommend to for a long day of family fun. However, this park would be great to read a book, have a quiet picnic, or even meditate. Small disclaimer though, I did go during the summer on a weekend so I'm not sure of the atmosphere during the week or during the school year. There was some construction nearby as well as the William and Mary Law School. So, the scene during the week may be a little different from a summer weekend. Also if you are a bird lover, there is a pretty big sculpture of a bird in the park which is beautiful. But, all in all, we truly enjoyed our visit to the park.

Quiet attractive little park occupying one block a bit off the busy tourist area. Nice place to read a book. There is an old family burial and a memorial to Confederate war dead. Several benches, lots of trees.
