Betty Liz Balloons

'Expensive balloon', I thought at first walking out of the store mid April. Now, just into the second week of May, said balloon that was so expensive is still flying high in our dining room, like it was just blown up a second ago. I believe the balloon brand is Orbz - HIGHLY recommend this brand if you're looking for something to last for a special occasion. Customer service was second to none, the owner was very nice and polite and ready to assist. The store is a little on the old side and could do with a make over inside - but there's still some great products on offer. It's not the cheapest, but as there isn't a Party City for miles, you're paying more for convenience than anything else.Costumes inside for rent, if that's your thing... definitely worth checking out if you're pressed for time and need some celebratory balloons ASAP.

Cool lil store with tons of party and costume essentials. I tried to take a few good photos but I think the gal inside thought I was up to no good so I didn't take too many bc she was lookin' at me funny... They had a ton of costumes for parties and halloween, lots of balloons, party decor like streamers and paint and such. It's a cute lil shop but it smelled funny, like musty and old or something....

Worker was very nice and helpful. Highly overpriced. We brought in our own letter balloons. It cost $11 to blow up each letter which cost more than the balloons.

This place is the coolest. When I was in high-school and involved in plays, we would always go to Novelties Unlimited to pick up costuming, accessories, make-up, wigs, fake beards mustaches, props and anything else we would need to play the certain parts. Another really cool thing about N.U. is you can rent costumes - and you can do this all year round, not just at Halloween time. The only thing about this place that is a little bit aggravating are the hours, it closes by 6pm every day, although it is open on Saturdays. They have party décor here as well but I think they're known a little more for their costuming.

Just about all the goodies I needed for our Pley at the Plex event came from Novelties Unlimited. The raffle ticket drum for all our raffle prizes... Yep, those things go for an absurd $300+. But there you can rent it. The same goes for all the helium tanks. They have numerous sizes depending on your needs.What you'll find most interesting is their costume selection. They have quite the selection along with various wigs, hats and masks. You can even special order items, too. I wouldn't even think to do this with the big box store that we all know. As a matter of fact, you can special order just about anything party and costume related if they don't have it in stock.Now if I can only figure out what to be for Halloween!

Great Shop...My job requires me to build displays for every holiday...I can always count on N.U. to have the decorations I need and great suggestions.Thanks to N.U. my displays have won several contests.N.U. is the place to locate those hard to find and unusual items...If they don't have it they order it...with a quick delivery time...Thanks for all your help over the years!!Deb M.

Some buddies of mine went here and bought some fake moustaches for a party. It was hilarious, so I decided to do the same thing. The prices were fair and they had plenty of party supplies. What I also liked about the store is that there is off street parking. Not many places have that on 21st street. They have plenty of costumes to buy and rent. If I had to prepare for a party or get a prank, I would go here. The cashier was very helpful and friendly also.

Liz at Betty Liz Balloons saved the day! Liz took my out-of-town call on one of the busiest days of the year, Valentine's Day, and expedited a last minute birthday balloon order for me. She was patient, kind and extremely helpful. The order was delivered to the recipient's home super fast, within the hour of placing the order. If I could, I'd rate Betty Liz a triple 5 - they are truly outstanding!

Great staff and high-quality costumes. You can find everything you need there. While the types of costumes and sizes may not be the same as the big stores which you get there is great quality. Plus they have great make up selection and accessories. They also have party supplies. Great place to get your balloons.

This is an amazing little shop! Next to Dollar Store on 21st St. I have gone in a bunch of times and they always have what I need. The owner is always there and she's very nice and helpful. Give it a try. You will not be disappointed!
