Bergey's Breadbasket

I have been coming to Bergey's for years... located on a little farm, this place is perfect for family outings. The ice cream is the best that I have ever had (butter pecan is my favorite) and the staff have always been very friendly. Highly recommend!!!!

Bergey's Breadbasket is a must visit if you are in the area. They make the ice cream themselves, and the flavors are seasonal. We all had an ice cream and it was delicious, creamy, not insanely sweet. They also had some unique flavors. I missed the key lime pie but picked up peanut brittle and other locally made goodies. My husband loved the turkey club sandwich. The outdoor seating area is super cute. They also have goats you can feed which my kiddos loved. We didn't get a chance to visit the petting zoo due to time but we will next time.

We've been coming here off and on for years, only now I have grandchildren! We first enjoyed an afternoon in the barnyard visiting all the goats, pigs, chickens, bunnies, cows etc. About 5 mins before we arrived in the barn a baby goat had just been born. And within about 10 mins mom had him all cleaned up; and he was off and running! It was so much fun to pet all the animals and they are very well cared for. Then it was playtime in the sandpit on the excavator and then tractor time on the toy John Deere's. He had a blast and I loved seeing him having a good time. After playtime we went into the restaurant and enjoyed a giant chocolate cupcake and a bowl of ice cream. They also had a wide variety of delightful takeaways like syrups, mixes etc. A great way to spend a lazy day! Thanks to the staff who were very polite and welcoming. This is a family owned farm.

If you've never had lunch at this spot...do yourself a favor and GO!! They have the BEST sandwiches and their bread is to DIE for!! And it doesn't hurt that the prices are more than fair!! Don't forget to get some ice cream before you leave!!!

$4 for the petting zoo (baby piglets!!) was such a steal! There was so much to do and see, and I was so glad we went on a day where it was somewhat open and didn't have a ton of people/kids.I sat in the piglet sty and I could've stayed there for hours, except kids kept coming in and the piglets didn't wanna be on the kids' laps (they wanted a grown, independent woman's lap to take a nap on). It was a pure dream, and I loved every single minute of it. Highly recommend going for kids of all ages who love barnyard animals.They have clean bathrooms easily accessible and a little shop where they have sandwiches, ice cream, and other such for sale.Hot tip: Bring quarters to feed other animals (alpaca, sheep, and more goat food).

Great homemade ice cream and baked goods. We loved the cinnamon buns and plan on returning to try the sandwiches.

Neat place to visit, Bergey's literally has everything a kid at heart would love - delicious fresh made to order sandwiches, fresh baked pies, breads, homemade ice cream, petting zoo...My friend and I had a wonderful time having our coffee and cinnamon raisin roll and cream cheese Danish. We sat on rocking chairs on the front porch just watching families pet goats. There's even goat feed machine where you can get goat gibbles to reward the goats for being up front and friendly. I heard there are other animals to pet in the back.When you walk inside there's a long but but quickly moving line. The place is well lit, with freezer displays for quiches, pies, etc. I would give Bergey's 5 stars if only they'd (please) expand their coffee concoction selections (not just milk, maybe some syrups) and if on weekends they can anticipate the demand for their pies - they ran out of cherry pie and Chocolate chip pie even at 11:30am!Will definitely come back!

I went here a few weeks ago on a date. The animals and corn maze were all such fun. Also the store they had fresh bakery items, I've cream, and some really good fresh sandwiches. Homemade bread and all. You can also buy bread that is made there and if it's past 4pm the bread is free. Little secret for ya.
