Belcross is an unassuming side of the road family restaurant with amazing prices and surprisingly great breakfasts and sandwiches. I wouldn't want to forget to mention the fabulous oatmeal raisin cookies which are nearly an inch thick (and they freeze well.)You order your food at the counter and you can take out or they can bring it to your table(I didn't count exactly but there's about eight or 10 tables there). All of the employees are very friendly and helpful. I had shredded ham and scrambled eggs on a large buttermilk biscuit. We also had eggs and sausage on a biscuit. One of their specialties is a sweet potato biscuit, which is fabulous. Their biscuits are as good or better than anywhere within an hour drive( so far). On another occasion, we visited for lunch. The turkey wrap and the BLT were top-notch. The ingredients are absolutely fresh.Although we live an hour away, we wouldn't hesitate to make a trip as often as possible and go shopping in the area.

The BEST biscuits you'll find anywhere! We were driving back to the triangle from the OBX and popped in for brunch. We ordered a couple egg and cheese biscuits. Service and the other patrons were super sweet and friendly. The bathroom is also clean and smelled great (so important on a road trip!). The biscuits are phenomenal. Perfectly crispy on the outside and enormous! We couldn't even finish our sandwiches because they were so huge. Around $6 for 2 huge egg and cheese biscuits is amazing! We're so glad we stopped!

Best breakfast we've had in 2024! The sweet potato biscuits are out of this world good. Add eggs, cheese, and whatever meat you might like and wow! Everything sourced local. Eggs and cheese from farm next door. Pork also local. Coffee is very good too. All at very reasonable prices. Worth a drive, walk, or even a flight!

Delicious breakfast, great service, would recommend and visit again.Place was busy, but we were seated quickly and food came out in a timely manner.

I'm not from the South or east coast- I'm from the Midwest- so I never knew I was a biscuit virgin until I landed here 1 month ago. I was waiting for my mother in laws surgery to be completed and needed something close by - it was barely 7am.. Belcross it was. I was amazed. I actually pushed the gravy aside enough to "open up this biscuit" and get a good look at it. It was layered and steamy. Absolutely the most delicious biscuit I've ever had in my life. Admittedly, I was completely thrown off by the square shape and paper plates but literally did not give it a second thought after 1 bite. 1mo later I'm back checking in on my mother in law but not without a Belcross visit. This time I had to bring my husband... apparently their store was famous for their biscuits (trust me, I've heard the war stories aplenty) back before 2008 in Currituck, but unfortunately just couldn't make it out of the trenches from the crash. He was very honest and agreed the biscuits were very good- which was a big step for him

Would Highly recommend if you're driving through. I've tasted Biscuits N' Gravy up and down the east Coast and by far this place has the BEST. Small diner like ambiance that keeps the prices reasonable. The service was good. Was pleased.

Good nice service and they are kind work together good experience and my dad takes me there sometimes whenever I have something to do and have to miss school

Hidden gem returning from the beach delicious brunch food. Loved the sweet potato biscuits.

Friendly staff. Excellent, quick service even on busy days. Dining area is clean and cozy. "Home cooked", simple comfort food.
