The absolute best lattes in Hampton Roads, hands down. At this point I've basically tried it all- and time and time again come back to Bear House (they have been the actual reason I've gone to the Botanical Gardens multiple times, heh). They make all of their syrups in house- and they are absolutely splendid. Only this place can make me enjoy an espresso tonic- what even is that?! But it's delicious, just like everything they do. And, it's never ever too sweet. It's always barely sweet with an emphasis on flavor, not sugar. Ugh just so good. And what's more than that- the staff here are genuinely amazing people. The owner (I think?) always greets us and knows us well at this point, and makes the whole experience just that much better. These people are in the job that's right for them- which means their coffee is crafted with love. And that's the best kind of business to visit.

I had the pleasure to try Bear House Coffee yesterday at an event at my workplace. First, we were greeted by the energetic and friendly staff. They were attentive and kept us updated on our orders. I had the Grizzly Caramel latte and it is so delicious! It was perfectly bold and sweet. I loved the tones of cinnamon and caramel in it. I appreciate the efficient service and super nice staff! It was an overall great experience!

I came here on a Saturday mid-morning during a festival at the Chesapeake City Park. Luckily, we got there early so we didn't have to wait. I ordered an iced Orso Polar latte. This caught my eye..white chocolate, vanilla, and coconut?..yes, please. It was delicious! I could definitely taste the coconut which made me happy. I also ordered their sausage, egg, and cheese tacos with tahini sauce. OMG. Talk about a party in my mouth...the eggs were scrambled perfect and kept their texture throughout. The tortilla had the perfect amount of heat (not too crisp but still pliable enough to wrap around all the goodness!) I had a hard time choosing which sauce I wanted...spicy siracha or tahini. I'm so glad I took the young lady's advice and opted for the tahini. It was delicious! I can't wait to track Bear House down at their next event so I can try their waffle tacos!

We just had a great lunch served by two super friendly guys from their food truck In Norfolk Botanical Gardens. My breakfast tacos were packed with egg, cheese, black beans, onions & peppers. DELICIOUS and filling! My husband had a grilled cheese on sourdough and his was fantastic as well! Highly recommend!

They advertise loose leaf tea on their sign, the tea I was given was bagged. It was also served lukewarm

Bear House Coffee Roasters has great service and coffee. They will deliver coffee beans to you in person and have a new flavor of coffee every month. Some of the best coffee I've had you'll never want to go to Starbucks again!
