Beach Street USA has FREE concerts at every corner. Among Beach Street USA is the 17th Street Stage. Nice! There are few other Stages and Parks, too.

Always an amazing time with a robust amount of shows and street entertainment for all ages. Be sure to bring bicycles, chairs or a beach towel. I saw so many shows from a magical show to, a circus, to a live band. And all of them where simply amazing. Funk fest is a homerun. You get to see some amazing artists play old school funk music and I got to see the East coast surfing championship for FREE!!! What more can a tourist ask for?

Beach Street USA is one of the best reasons to head down to the Oceanfront. It's fun for locals and tourists alike. It's a schedule of events, including live music and activities like kite flying or hermit crab racing, and weekend festivals like Latin Fest or Gospel Fest located all along the Oceanfront. The Beach Street USA stages are throughout the boardwalk strip:7th Street Stage13th Street Stage17th Street Park24th Street Park25th Street Park31st Street Park (Neptune's Park)Little Island ParkBest of all, it's FREE! Check out the website for a full events schedule.

Seeing the gigantic King Neptune statue is always a fun spot to see. You wouldn't spend too long here but it's fun for tourists to see. Make sure you get a fun picture!

I concur. Beachstreet USA is a great idea. Say what you will about the VB strip, but at least they get that live entertainment on the street adds color and culture and fun. I think Beach Street technically includes all of the festivals--way too many to list--in addition to the musicians, fireworks and all of that. Suffice it to say, there's pretty much always something going on in season, and even some things for the locals once the tourists leave. Yay.

Always an amazing time at Virginia Beach. We go every summer and sometimes for Valentines Day. I recommend touring the light house, no matter what time of year. Don't really bar hop in the summer time there's always live bands, if your discrete and act like you have some since you can sit there drink a beer without any hassle. Great for kids of all ages, beach was clean. September they have a Neptune Festival with a sand sculpture tournament highly recommend that!

Beach Street USA at first sounded like a cheesy idea to this local. At various streets on the already overcrowed Oceanfront, there is family entertainment provided for free. But after years of perusing the magicians, musicians, quartets and more, I really like Beach Street USA. The magicians are entertaining for the kids and tourists and the audience always gets to participate. My favorite, though, are the musical acts. Some of the best as yet undiscovered talents play here. From barbershop quartets transporting us back to the age of 1950s doo-wop, to acoustic hits sung in a soulful voice that spills down the street, to a harp player that almost made me cry--there really is something for everyone. I once met a musician named Charles who was playing here--he played over twenty different exotic instruments, including a Sitar. It was amazing!

It's free and it's a great time for the family to see some good local musicians and acts. It can be crowded at times, but it's always fun... From the jugglers to the magicians...there is something for everyone.
