Beach Quarters Resort

I'm here with my mom for a few days and I don't have a lot of negative things to say. Our room is clean and plenty big enough for the two of us. Beautiful view from the balcony, location can't be beat. I will say, the parking garage is teeny tiny and just making the 90 degree turn at the top of the ramp is nearly impossible- and I'm only driving a Highlander, nothing huge. Toiletries are lacking- it's possible they forgot to stock them but all we had is one little bottle of shampoo and two bars of face soap. No body wash or regular soap, no conditioner, no lotion. I was glad I brought my own. Not a bad price for a stay right on the beach. Definitely grab breakfast at the diner across the street!

Still the same! DEAD. The biggest waste of money in Virginia Beach! Better resorts for better prices!

Horrible!!!!!!!! Donot do it! The place is shabby! The customer service is horrible. We had to park 15 minutes away. There parking has been under construction forever. It is not worth the money. I would NEVER go back! I donot recommend It. Don't do It!!!!!!!!

Our Staycation and anniversary celebration here is amazing! We love their amenities and I never thought a will find it here! They have a hot pool and tub, a Sauna and Steam room!. It's so relaxing and all worth it!. It bring back Japan! LolHighly recommended

Booked through Westgate (timeshare) and the check in time was allotted for 5pm which seemed super late. I actually got here around 10am to check in to be notified when/ if I could check into my room earlier. Thankfully, they gave me a parking pass so I was able to leave my car in things there. They called around 12pm that I was able to check in. Primary reasons for knocking down a couple stars is the check in process. I came here on a Saturday for a festival of 30k people that was taking place right outside their doors...and they only had one person for check in? The wait was ridiculous (30+ minutes standing in line) and it should have been anticipated to have others to help with check in on that day. The room itself was nice, though the setup is a little weird. The beds are as soon as you walk in but I can understand a bit since the living room is near the balcony. Another thing was the amount of commotion heard from the employees/workers. Pretty sure there was construction going on, but there were literally people yelling back and forth at 6am sharp. It was a lot of unnecessary extraness. I was on the 3rd floor and had a decent view of the festival stage and proximity to everything. Great beach views also on the quieter side of things since it if further from the commotion of the oceanfront. Extras: Many restaurants within walking distance. Parking lot is tight for bigger cars but it wasn't too hard to drive my Ford Escape through it. Extra parking pass is $10.

Checked in on Friday fir a 3-night stay. After a 15-hour I just wanted to shower & sleep. The tub/shower is a challenge to step into. Think 1980's deep tub and a BIG step to get into. Toilet is like in grade school and this too is a relic. Then about to go to sleep and I am hit with the smell of someone smoking weed. SKUNKY nasty weed. I complained to Front desk when it happened again on Saturday. Lip Svc about their zero tolerance policy, but did not offer to move me into another room. Then a domestic quarrel woke me at 4:30am. Called front desk. Finally quieted down around 6am. Sunday more disgusting weed smells and again more lip Svc. Pool not open Sat night. Tennis courts closed dur to snow. Miserable stay and too bad they aren't interested in truly making your stay great!

The hotel leaves a lot to be desired. Currently at the hotel and have had a bad experience in just 2 days here! The walls are paper thin and all you hear are kids screaming at all hours. The room next to us had horrible guests who not only let their kids scream at all hours, encouraged them to get louder through the night and early morning. Since the walls basically just prevent seeing those on the adjoining room, I got no sleep. When I knocked on the divider wall, I apparently hit it too hard and sprained my wrist. It took several hours for the hotel to move our room, and I asked specifically NOT to be near kids again. So when we got settled into our new room (after the trip to patient first), I was horrified to hear kids on the other side of the wall again. At least these parents don't seem to put up with the kids screaming like the previous ones. I did learn that the room I selected to stay in initially was not the level I received upon arrival. We were given a lower end room vs the selected deluxe king. The second room we received was the style/level of room we booked. The staff was apologetic on my arm getting a sprain, they sent us a complimentary basket of junk food but I would have appreciated them looking to find an open room away from children more. They are right on the beach, and while they don't have their own restaurant, they have a VIP Discount card they will give you for surrounding locations and a list of applicable restaurants. The concierge will also try to sell you a timeshare,

Don't waste your time or money. The hotel/time share is on a steep decline. The place is very dated and in need of update. The website shows they have a bar and restaurant on premises,nope both closed, hot tube closed, weights room semi closed. Parking garage if you drive a subcompact it ok, otherwise the turns a very tight and you will need to back up two or three times to make them. The outside parking for oversized cars is a block away,apparently they had a car break in and can't even sweep up the broken glass. The pool inside and outside are completely unattended areas and you can't get an extra towel. The pool filters aren't one and in the outside pool numerous floating bugs. The rooms have a beautiful view and that's pretty much wear it ends. Sitting on the deck you constantly have a smell of marijuana. The beds are not to bad but could be better. The bathrooms are a total night mare the toilet is in a very small closet and must be for a child it's so low to the ground. The tub has a wall that you must climb out or into, this is a major slip hazard. I don't know who thought this was a good idea !!The kitchenet area is very small and the fridge is dorm refrigerator. The safe in the room isn't even mounted to the floor. The TV picture quality was worse then a roof antenna in a lighting storm. We had the maintenance person look at the tv and said "I guess something is wrong but this is the best it's gone be. "In closing the hotel needs a complete remodel or demo.

Kelsea is a real one on god, recommend for promotion. Helped us out tremendously. She showed me all the food places nearby and was lovely to talk to. Overall pleasant experience.

An out and out horrible experience. Starting with check-in which took 25 minutes and still ended up with keys that were not coded correctly. I was ignored for 15 minutes at check in while 1 of the 2 desk clerks dealt with patrons that could not find a usable credit card. Then I am told "the card terminal will tell you we are taking an extra $300 for incidentals, but it's only going to be $200". Who does business like this????The parking garage is a joke. Forget the height warning, it's your cars wheelbase that is the issue. I had a standard -size pick up and it is nearly impossible to make the turns in the garage. Exiting is even worse!!When someone shuts their room door, the entire place shakes. The room was nice with a great view (if a dredging pipe is your thing).After an hour, I cut my losses, and packed up and left, spending the next 20 minutes trying to exit the garage.Stay AWAY!!
