Beach 'N Seafood

Visited today. Very limited selection and didn't feel welcomed in this establishment.Upon entry no one acknowledged our presence. The owner told his friend Susan that he voted for Trump to save the pets in Illinois???? Hmmmm...not sure why he said that out loud in our presence but it made the whole vibe take a very racist tone.First no one cares who you voted for. Second the implication was ignorant and says not everyone is welcomed there!

We stopped by but were a little disappointed with the limited selection of fish. Perhaps, this limited selection was due to us visiting a couple of days before Thanksgiving. It seemed to be a place to get shellfish (clams, shrimp, and crab legs) instead of whole fish. While we did grab some clams (bc we like to support small businesses from time to time), the prices (while not outrageous) were a little high. I will say the guy working the booth was really nice. He did try to make recommendations based on what we wanted and what they didn't have.

Great spot! I don't cook much myself, but have recently started dating someone who does (I know- livin' the dream). We visited Beach 'N Seafood this weekend picking up some clams for a seafood roast. This is his go-to spot in Virginia Beach, because he says that the prices are typically lower than similar shops in the area. Located in the Farmer's Market the hours are pretty traditional which makes it an easy spot to visit. They had a large variety of everything from shellfish to fish, it wasn't crowded. Service was fast and friendly! The clams we got were fantastic!

I always come here to get fresh seafood. The owner is a very nice guy. He is always upbeat and friendly. He carriers scallops, blue crabs, soft shell crabs, fish, she crab soup, seasonings, and etc. The prices are reasonable for seafood. He's open 7 days a week rain or shine. This is my go to seafood market, especially since its at the Farmers Market. I can kill two birds with one stone and get other goodies from the others stores as well. So basically this is the spot!!!! Lol. U can't go wrong with seafood...

The Eastern shore oysters we got we're freshly delivered the morning that we bought them and wow, they were nice sized and delicious! My husband brother dad and daughter ate some raw and we're raving about them! I prefer steamed and mine were equally delicious! The price was very good too. Highly recommend!

This is the best seafood spot for miles around. The freshest I've found in decades in the Hampton Roads area. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable; also very willing to share his recipes. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this hidden gem.

Best seafood market in Virginia Beach. Also the lowest prices on crabs and oysters. Very friendly service and the owner is the best!

The best oysters around, we will definitely be back for our next cookout. Great customer service and always available for pick up with my work schedule.

This was a huge disappointment. I bought two lobsters, each weighed 3 lbs, at $15/lb, for a total of almost $100. I had asked when the lobsters came into the tank and they said "today". Went home and gently steamed them for 20 minutes. I had expected the shells to be filled to the brim with meat like the lobsters we had in Maine. So it was an unpleasant surprise when we cracked open the lobster shells and a flood of water came out. It was gross. The meat filled not even 1/3 of the shells, and the flavors were muted. By every indication these lobsters must have spent a long time in the tank and have been starving because their edible bodies had shrunk so much. What was meant to be an elegant dinner for my in-laws turned into an embarrassing time.
