Be Free Craft Ice Cream Cafe

The Ambiance is Great. You'll find people with their friends and family just chilling, the set up is good and it's plantsy and has WiFi! This café has a nice vibe inside and made a decent spot to catch up with friends. They have a cute little display case of professionally done baked goods.As for the Food: I enjoy the wide variety of pastriesand ice creams you can get here. It'll make you feel like you want to eat bread for breakfast and lunch. There were a lot of coffee options to choose from. For our Vegan friends, you have options to choose from too.The baristas working were very welcoming and very friendly. They were also very helpful if you had any questions. This makes a cute neighborhood café/bakery.

I had the pleasure of stopping by this cute cafe over the weekend and I'm so happy I did. The staff were super friendly and I swear, this has to be one of the nicest cafes I've seen in a long time. I tried a few ice cream flavors and the Gingerbread Cheesecake was my absolute favorite. I love how they display their assortment of pastries because everything looked appetizing. I decided on the Blueberry Coffee Cake along with a small Brown Sugar Iced Latte with oat milk. The Coffee Cake was served warm and tasted amazing! The Latte was very good as well. My friend ordered a Mocha Latte with sweet cream but neither one of us were fans of the sweet cream so they graciously remade the drink with oat milk and it tasted great. Definitely stop by this quaint cafe the next time you're in the area. You will not be disappointed!!!

The owner seems like a really great guy. The building and atmosphere also look amazing. I wish I lived close enough to come try some ice cream. If I'm ever in Virginia I'll stop by. P.S. I would propose an ice cream sweetened with raw unfiltered honey as a paleo friendly ice cream. Good luck

Awesome place for enormous pastries and delicious ice cream! I tried the Ube and it was completely spot-on! The workers were helpful with the samples and they were nice. The place is nicely decorated and spacious. I will definitely return for more!

Location is great and right next door to the Planet Fitness. I definitely pictured it in a different light-and the ambiance is much better than I thought!The lady greeted us kindly and was patient while we couldn't decide what we wanted. We ended up ordering an Affogato and Donut Holes and a Ham and Cheese Croissant.The affogato came with a full scoop of ice cream and the espresso separate and this was the BEST. Usually it is skimpy on either side but this way you get ALL THE ICE CREAM and espresso.The donut holes were dusted in cinnamon sugar and even though simple, they were incredibly delightful.The Ham and Cheese croissant was incredible.I can't wait to go back already and foresee this being a regular haunt!

Still great, all of the winter seasonal flavors we tried were great! Service on point, only ice cream spot we go to now.

Went here with my wife. Great spot for us to enjoy some ice cream and a nice cup of coffee. Ice cream was super sweet but good. My wife got an affogato and loved it also really like the way they decorated the place. The staff was super friendly, and the place was clean

Wonder neighborhood coffee/ice cream spot!! We came one morning to grab pastries and coffee and loooved everything. The staff was super friendly giving us their recommendations and the coffee was very good but their pastries were delicious and not to be missed. We got their huge cinnamon roll and cheese danish, both very good and paired perfectly with their coffee. We also came back on another night to get some ice cream. This place was poppin at night for ice cream!! It was about 8pm and there was a lot of people as we walked in and ended up having a line. I tried a few flavor before ordering the sea salt assault flavor. All very good and creamy. Love this spot and will be there often!

came here for the first time today and was definitely impressed. There are so many amazing pastries to choose from and when they warm it up it taste even better. there was also so many amazing ice cream flavors to choose from even some that were vegan and gluten-free, which also tasted amazing if not better.my only criticism is that they do not have any drink options that are non-coffee choices so there wasn't really an option for me. They were able to make me a steamer, but I think it will be nice to have a few more coffee or caffeinated drink options on the menu.Parking was super easy because it's in a complex and there is seating inside and outside with free wi-Fi as well. They only take tips with cash just for your information so make sure to bring cash.Overall, a really cute place to go on a date bring your family and smell some amazing sweet treats. Definitely will be coming back to try more.

We love this place and it has become a weekly (sometimes more often) staple for us. The location is great, the ambiance and decor is excellent, the staff is always friendly, helpful, and go above and beyond to provide phenomenal service. What can I say about the food...the coffee, pastries, and ice cream are the best we've had since we lived in Europe. We love the rotating menu, creativity, and love the Be Free team puts into everything they make. Also very kid friendly. Our girls love sitting at the bar in front of the kitchen window so they can see the Chefs making all the goodies in the kitchen.
