Barham Seafood

One thing I love about festivals you get to try places that you would never get to experience in passing. At the Powhatan Festival of the Grapes I got to try a couple of dishes from Barham Seafood. We had their crabcake sandwich and fried oysters with a side of fries.The crabcake was amazing!!! It was fried with a soft crisp like I like and the inside was a crabcake lovers dream. I could taste crab in every bit with the right amount of seasoning.The fried oysters where chefs kiss. They where crispy on the outside and cooked just right on the inside. All I can say is that I will be finding my way to their location for a second try.

We ordered steamed crabs for the 4th of July. They were phenomenal! Barham's cooked and seasoned them perfectly. Looking forward to placing my next order.

My go to for fresh local seafood. Their spiced shrimp is phenomenal along with their cocktail sauce. Party trays are abundant and always look amazing.

delicious seafood and great prices... i got the soft shell crab sandwich and spiced shrimp with side of hushpuppies and potato salad. this place is great and the owners are very friendly. making this a new regular spot for me.

Absolutely the best fresh seafood in the metro richmond area, always reasonably priced. I bought halibut yesterday , and it was to die for! Shrimp, rockfish, snapper, grouper, name your choice and they have it.

Ordered the fried shrimp takeout meal. The shrimp was tiny, there was no evidence of any sort of breading, and it tasted like rubber. The fries were soggy beyond belief and the hush puppies were ridiculously tiny. Also, this was during COVID-19, and there was no effort to restrict the number of people waiting in a very tiny space with poor circulation. Almost no one waiting for orders had masks on, and no efforts were being made to enforce state regulations regarding the use of masks in public areas.

This is a very good place to buy seafood.....wouldn't go anywhere else....they have a good variety of seafood to choose from and very competitive prices with 10 percent discount on first responders / law enforcement.
