We have absolutely loved Bangkok Garden in Churchland; we've been going there for years. The former managers were always extremely helpful, eager to please. We got to know them as family and still maintain contact. My husband and I hosted a party of 30 there; we have had more than 30 others in foursomes for meals, often once every week. The food has always been dependable and made to our tastes if we requested a change in ingredients. We miss the former managers!! Since their departure, there have been a series of different employees, some more helpful than others. The food has varied more, though we believe the cook is the same as previously. What we have noticed as recently as this past Sunday is that the exterior and the interior are in desperate need of a cleaning. The exterior is not welcoming...with a heavy, difficult and dirty door, cigarette butts covering the doormat, a real turn off; dirt on the exterior and interior windows. We also have noticed dust in between the cushions and the woodwork. We count on Bangkok Garden! Please - do some cleaning!

This restaurant was recommended by our friends to celebrate my Husband's birthday. It was the two of us, semi date night. The service was quick and the food was enjoyable. It was good to know you can order in advance to pick up or come in, order and wait for your food. We enjoyed dining in. A nice calm and relaxed atmosphere. Will go back again when wanting some Thai food.

Menu available at https://www.bangkokgardenchurchland.com/menuQuick lunch for 2; Pad Kee Mao (Beef) and Chicken Laab. Complimentary salad and spring rolls were a pleasant addition. Pluses: Pad Kee Mao was good size portion for lunch and very flavorful. Laab was requested to be spicy and it did have pleasant heat (still could be more, but satisfactory given the area). Flavor was very good. Minuses: beef was tough. Also, I ordered laab salad to avoid carbs, yet dish had minimal salad and large scoop of rice (no mention of rice on the menu).Service was prompt and pleasant, prices were reasonable for what was delivered.

Delish food for two served quickly with an acceptable ambiance. We have both been to Thailand so we had high expectations but we knew we could not get the same spice levels. Mine trumped Hubby's Chicken Laab and I did share my Pad Kee Mao with him. His portion was too small for such a giant of a man but he said he would eat the rice though he was trying to avoid carbs. Plain white rice doesn't compare with flavorful Beef Pad Kee Mao so he agreed and accepted my offer! Chewy and spicy making us both happy!

This is definitely more of a 4.5 rating but the pad thai was a little lackluster. Other than that, this was a great Thai restaurant. Came here because we were going to be in the area and wanted thai food. Service: A+ All the staff were kind and efficient. We got there right before they got busy on Saturday evening, and only waited about 5 minutes before our dish came out. Drinks were refilled quickly and we had our main meals within 20 minutes of sitting down. Food: Food was all around delicious. We had the following: Crispy Spring Rolls-nice and crispy with a sweet and sour sauce. A very good sauce. The Fresh paper rolls with chicken-very good and LOVED the fresh basil in them. The dipping sauce was like a sweet honey but with a kick and yummy crushed peanuts on top. Unique and crave-able. Beef with Basil and onions and peppers-so good and flavorful! The beef was perfectly cooked and the sauce was yummy. Pad Thai-The flavor as mentioned above didn't wow me but it wasn't bad. Have had more flavorful pad Thai's at other places. Very beautiful restaurant inside as well.

I've dined here quite a few times prior but this particular day they were a bitt off when it came to my meal and my sister's whom I was dining with. When I took a bite out of my chicken spring rolls they were cold and were stated to be hot fresh out the grease. So I had to send those back and after being remade they were tasty and the correct temperature. My sister's meal was a complete failure and it was sent back due to it being super salty. Unfortunately when it came back it lacked any seasoning at all. She'd asked for the spice level to be 2 stars and after they remade it was lacking in any seasoning. We were later told he thought the waitress told him no spice. Overall their food is typically delicious and made without an issue. I recommend them as they're among the best in the area when it comes to Thai food and the freshness is delightful.

Fried rice - great! Tasty and great portions for lunch and dinner. There's a soup that we ordered that was served with the noodles on the side (I forgot the name of the soup - that's how bad it was) - the soup was mediocre but the worst parts were the 'noodles' - they were like fried rice noodles that just disintegrated once you put it in the soup! I've never had these type of noodles before so I'm not sure if it was meant to be that way but it was terrible!!The staff was friendly and the place was clean. I would go back but I will NOT order any soup and that says it comes with 'fried' rice noodles.

Food is really good but the service is terrible. As a customer it feels like the staff doesn't even want you there. This has happened on more than one occasion.

My go to Thai place! Absolutely amazing. Love the PAD SEE-IW TOFU & GYOW (Thai Wonton Soup). Add some chili to the soup and it's A1.

Disappointing. Every other Bangkok Garden has been great, my favorite Thai food in the area. This location, however, left something to be desired. The spring rolls were not good with extremely overcooked chicken inside: ate 2 bites and left the other 5 to be scraped into the garbage. The TOM YUM KAI Soup included the same overcooked chicken pieces plus overcooked and questionable beef. Aside from the 'meat' the soup was bland.
