Bad Bean Baja Grill

Been going to Bad Bean since they were in their other location a bit further south, and am so happy to stop back when I can. I typically go for the Grilled Chicken, Bacon, & Avocado wrap - which comes with their amazing garlic & cilantro fries. Service is great, ambiance is peaceful for the typically busy area of OBX. The lofty ceiling and beautiful artwork is always enjoyable! As a fellow artist, I love that they have local artists work available.

The food was pretty good. The beef was more like a brisket and it was good, but more sweet than I prefer. The service was good. And it only took about 25 minutes for them to sit my table of 11. This place is super cute and the drinks are also pretty tasty. The Watermelon Margarita was delicious and tasted super fresh.

Enjoyed our dining here. We had a party of 6 . Service was good , had to ask for the beer I ordered a few times. Finally got it. Food was typically what you would expect from a Tex Mex Mexican restaurant. After a full day at the beach and the pool with the granddaughters. It was ready to eat. I order a chicken quesadilla, it was very good on the average sense. No surprise here. Cool surf theme through out the restaurant. Great parking !!! BTY : we left a restaurant that had no parking for this one. Great parking here. I would come back.

Ordered bad bean for pick up, $16 for the shredder, enchilada style, it was good but wish it came with a side especially for the price.

Dropped in last Saturday based on the reviews. Did not disappoint. The burritos were priced right and tasted great. Recommend getting them smothered with the red sauce. The additional sauces were unique, fresh and spot on. Our server, Amanda, was a treat and helpful with the menu. Highly recommend.

Came to the Outer Banks with friends, and we wanted to get Mexican food on our last night. We decided to come here due to solid Yelp reviews and not many other options. I ordered 3 tacos, one with each of their pulled meats (chicken, pork, and steak). Queso and medium salsa was ordered for the table.The queso was decent and the medium salsa was addicting! The chips were good as well! Paying 6 dollars for salsa when it typically comes to the table free wasn't great; however, the salsa was solid enough to justify it.I was pretty disappointed by my tacos. I would have preferred a corn tortilla instead of flour, but a hot tortilla at the very least would have been nice. The meat tasted great, but all 3 tacos were nearly identical in taste and texture. Another thing to note was that the tacos dripped liquid everywhere despite the meat being quite dry. My platter had a puddle at the bottom by the end of the meal. My friends were also quite disappointed in their orders, except for my one buddy who really liked his fajita quesadilla.The service was average, and the food was a bit overpriced. I could save a few bucks buying 3 tacos at an authentic Mexican restaurant instead.

So good we went back the next day. It's a bit of a dive bar feel but the tacos were amazing. I had the mahi and my partner had the pork belly. Rice and beans were tastier the second time.

Been following BB around. It moves around a bit. Here now in I think the old Kitty Hawk Pizza building. Been coming to OBX for 40+ yrs. Lea was on it from jump street. Never had to ask, always ahead of requests. Super helpful. Got the egg roll things. So good! Tacos were wonderful. Hot sauces (3) avail. The ghost pepper one is very hot. Taco salad was perfect. Shrimp tacos were good. Highly recommend!!!

Chicken and pork Posole was star of the show.spicy. Flavorful. Eats like a meal. Salsa always on point.

Taco salad was delicious! The beer was cold. Service was prompt. You need to eat here.
