This is a small little shop in downtown Norfolk right off Granby street but, as the name implies, it's full of little treasures one might find in some storage boxes in granny's attic. The rooms seems to have some level or organization but there are a ton of different goodies throughout. Small rooms dot the store filled with Tiffany-style lamps, salt and pepper shakers, hats, silver trays, and other items. In the back there are a bunch of antique glasses (think drink ware) as well as a kitchen area and then a huge section with a wall full of pyrex glassware. I found some cute little rose salt and pepper shakers for $8 and the day we were there (a Saturday at noon) there were vendors set up out front displaying items and sales throughout. If you like looking for vintage or antique goodies - this is a great spot.

Oh my goodness! Very sweet ladies and a wonderful, eclectic selection. Some of the prices are incredible and some are quite high. A great place.

LOVED, loved, loved this place. Just wish it was either less crowded with items or I had less booty! It was sweltering hot in there on Saturday and I noticed all the other customers in there were saying the same thing (so it wasn't just me!). I found several items and only spent $15! Definitely worth a return visit.

A gem in the middle of the city. The staff is friendly, courteous, the environment is calming and cozy, the product is always interesting one of a kind. I love spending time in this store. Vintage and some contemporary items. The secret is out.

The store is cool but unfortunately most items are way overpriced. I wish they had better pricing!

I always find some cool things here! The ladies and gents behind the counter are always pleasant and super helpful! The smell of the vintage clothing can be a little overwhelming sometimes though.

I shopped in Attic Treasures for many, many years and always had a good experience and found interesting vintage and antique things for reasonable prices. However, I will never go back to this shop again . Based upon my experience the business does not operate with integrity. I purchased an item that was warrantied as working( a sign that said "It Works"). I could have purchased it elsewhere ( like ebay which would have been cheaper) but wanted to support our local businesses. I tested a portion of the item in the store in front of the employees who work behind the counter. I assumed the entire item ( it was a vintage lamp) worked; however, upon plugging it in at home it was clear that the portion I had not tested was not working. I immediately attempted to return it the next morning . The employees who I had dealt with in purchasing it were rude and sarcastic to me. Additionally, they suggested that I had done something to damage the lamp. They refused the refund claiming they did not know how to do a refund, yet they did not offer me any alternative as to whom I should be dealing with. Moreover, they bad mouthed the owner of the booth that sold this item, which was extremely unprofessional considering they are the ones that allow that owner to sell her merchandise in their store. I had no alternative other than to make a claim on my American Express card, which was resolved in my favor because the store did not even bother to respond to the claim information. I have lived in Ghent for 25 years and have never written a review, let alone a negative one of any local business. I was shocked at how I was treated and therefore I do not recommend this shop .I would have thought they would have liked to keep my business after all these years. There are so many antique/vintage businesses in Norfolk who do appreciate local patronage. Its a shame that Attic Antiques is not one of them.

This is my favourite consignment shop in Ghent. I love spending hours going through the trunks of clothing & leaving with a cheaply priced gem. It's like going through someone's attic. They also have a variety of books & fragile items. They even provide ginger bread cookies & coffee at the counter. Definitely recommended!
