Asian Cuisine

We decided to try a new place, and we were both glad we did. I enjoyed my Mongolian Beef, although it wasn't spicy, even though it was supposed to be according to the menu. It was still flavorful. Next time, I'll make sure to let them know I like it spicy. My husband enjoyed his Sesame Chicken, too. Everything was hot, fresh, and ready when I got there. The lady was very friendly and welcoming as she waited on me when I arrived. Check them out!

I was looking for something close to my new job and I came across this small takeout location. I am simple and decided to give the orange chicken lunch special a try. It is fairly priced at 7 dollars with tax. The portion was generous for a lunch portion also.The flavor was good and the chicken held most of its crunch. I don't enjoy when this kind of chicken gets soggy and that happens too often at other places. It was listed as a spicy dish, but could have used more heat overall.

So I have not been eating much Chinese food since I moved to Portsmouth because every place that I have tried is just not that good. Food not fresh, overly salty or greasy just bad Chinese Food. There were way more options in Virginia beach to get good quality Chinese take out. I had this place bookmarked and happened to drive by and decide to give it a shot. I am so happy that I did. The food was great. Very fresh tasting and not greasy. The fried rice was actual fried rice. Not the yellow looking rice that I cant figure out how they make it that color. Fried rice should be colored by soy sauce so I cant understand the yellow rice. But I digress. I had the pepper steak. Great flavor lacking steak. My husband had the ribs and he loved them. This will be my go to place for chinese food from now on.

Food was too salty especially their soups. I had much better than this. Looks like you have to go to VA Beach area to get better Asian cuisine in the 757 area code

Not sure if they changed the recipe or what for the General Chicken but I've had it two times recently and it's not good anymore, it doesn't have the same sauce that it had, it had a darker sauce, but now it's a different more cleaner sauce, kind of sweet now. Won't be going back... I hope they look at this review. If it's not broke, don't fix it... not sure why they changed it. Used to hit.. someone says new management, I can see..

Best Asian food I've had!!! I get broccoli with chicken plus fried rice, and it never disappoints me. Shrimp egg rolls always fresh and delicious .

I guess ill just continue the 5 star streak. But not just because I don't want to tarnish the 5 stars but because it truly is deserved. Everybody knows that when you order Chinese food youre not looking for gourmet. Its basically comfort food. But when you order from this place, its the perfect amount of everything. It also doesn't taste like they dumped a pound of salt on your food. It tastes clean, not greasy, and their portions OMG. Huge portions. I noticed there were not many photos either so I took some. Definitely give this place a try. You won't regret it.

Tonight I tried Asian Cuisine for the first time. I.am IMPRESSED and will be coming back. The veggies were very fresh and well seasoned. The prices are very reasonable as well. I do not eat meat so the freshness and crispness of veggies are very important. Two thumbs up!!

Finding ANY good Chinese food even remotely in this area has been a daunting task and the food has been mediocre at best. I've seen this place for a few years but never stopped in and to be honest, it's the best reason to not judge a book by its cover. The family that runs it are super friendly and personable. The food is well priced and you get plenty of it. I'm a large eater at times and I could have made 2 meals out of my combo. I had the sesame chicken. It was sweet and delicious. My son had the orange chicken and he loved it, even saying he wants this on Fridays instead of his usual pizza. My wife had the Mongolian beef. This was the first Chinese food I've had in the area that was actually spicy. I can't wait to try some new items here that I wouldn't normally. Highly recommend this takeout!

Asian Cuisine is the only Chinese restaurant takeout my husband and I get. Every other place is gross to me and I have high standards for takeout. The service is great. I've never eaten inside so I'm not sure how the ambiance is.
