One of the most interesting art studios I have seen. The owner, Mr. Everna is by far one, if not the, top arties in Hampton or even the state. His work is so unknown and we are all doing ourselves a GREAT injustice by not visiting his studios. A humble man he is, and has a passion for God, Art, and giving back to the community. His current location is still in the works, however the art is availale for view. I can not begin to describe this place. All I can say is you should visit with an open mind and art. The history I learned by viewing his and other artist work is unexplainable and unbelievable.....the work is so passionate, accurate and will have you leaving with a sense of love for are that you have never experienced before. He and his artist love what they do and are passionate in sharing it with the world. Please, if you are ever in Hampton, and you're inspired to see some unknown, art, history and culture of this country. Go and visit his studios. You will not be disappointed. Be sure and tell him that Vance and Inez sent you. I hope he remembers me. Oh, take your kids. They will be highly satisfied.

Fantastic folk art! I was able to talk with the owner and artists and it was great to learn he was self taught! I hope to come by the shop again and be able to purchase some of his work.

Best Art Gallery in Virginia. We really enjoy visiting. They have original art and prints for sale. They are great for you or to give as gifts. Staff are very nice, knowledgeable and answer questions. They also have the resident artists give talks. I highly recommend you stop in.

My wife and I parked in front of Everna's Studio for a walk of old town Phoebus and met Everna! He was sitting out front of his studio beginning to create another piece of folk-art! We had a great time talking and he even gave us a tour of the Gallery and his studio. Everything we saw and heard was most impressive and informative. There is a lot of history to learn from Him and the art there! We are going to have him do a special piece for us very soon! This is a must stop if you are in the Hampton, VA area!!
