Stopped by on a rainy afternoon to try their special hot chocolate for the Downtown Williamsburg Cocoa crawl and it was DELICIOUS! It was a white raspberry hot chocolate and I'm not sure if it's in their menu normally but should be. Husband enjoyed his coffee and the curry chicken salad had a great flavor. I just personally would have loved some slivered almonds added to the top for crunch. Service was kind and helpful as it was my first time there. Let me know where to pick up my drink and my food. Cool artwork up on the walls, and quite a few tables inside.

Long as you don't mind standing in crazy long lines, this is a fantastic coffee stop. It's so good that the lines are long. A worth it trade off.I love the snickerdoodle latte. It's my favorite cookie so it stands to reason that it would be my favorite latte. This one does not disappoint. Perhaps sweeter than most would like because you can barely taste the coffee. I'm not a fan of bitter drinks so it's perfect for me.Tried the vegan gluten free truffles. They were hit or miss. Two were good and two were overly sweet.Spouse had the "true" macchiato. It comes in a small cup and is only half full. I found that odd but spouse states it's correct? Reason is that they do not have a short cup. Either way, he said it's good espresso and likes it.If you're in the area, be sure to stop by. Just be ready for that long line.

Aroma is a warm and friendly café, with nice dark wood where historic drawings are displayed. You order at the counter and they call you when your food is ready. We found a turnaround time to be pretty quick considering how busy it was. Even though it was clearly busy it didn't feel busy or noisy. The portions for breakfast were very generous. I had the English muffin with ham, Swiss and eggs, and it was very tasty. My wife had the traditional breakfast platter with scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes and fresh bread. The potatoes had a great flavor and not overcooked. We peered at dishes other customers were having, and the portions were just as generous and again everything looked fresh. My only gripe is that the food was a bit cold from the counter - I didn't notice if there heat lamps. It's all impressive because there can be long lines and yet they still manage to get the orders right. And surprisingly fast. We wished we lived in the area. But we are only an hour away and will definitely return.

We had breakfast at Aromas while enjoying Second Sundays in Colonial Williamsburg. The lines were long and we had our dog with us. I sat outside with our dog while my partner ordered our food. The staff provided a water dish for the dog. The food was very good and our beverages were hot.

This spot is located in the vicinity of the William and Mary research university. We had a staycation to celebrate an anniversary which put us within the college town. The area is historic, beautiful, and has great paths for walking. There was a dog bowl filled with water outside the door, which indicates it has an area that is pet friendly. Upon entry, it was bustling with hungry patrons for caffeine and food. I was ecstatic when I saw that nitro cold brew was offered. There was an abundance of muffins, danishes, chocolate balls in various flavors, bagels, and other breakfast offerings. The hubs ordered the burrito which was filled with southwestern chicken and fluffy eggs. The exterior wrap was overcooked so it was crispy and dry. However, the chicken was tender and flavorful. The hit of the hot sauce makes this breakfast burrito ideal for on the go and hangover ha ha. The nitro cold brew was velvety and smooth. The strawberry refresher was sweet and cold. Overall, a great place to study, bring friends for a grab and go. If you're lucky to secure a seat, grab it quickly, and enjoy!!!

Ambiance is definitely noteworthy. All early local birds coming to congregate here, giving such a homey vibe. Even the decor and lighting lend themselves to very eclectic and warm atmosphere. At the counter there's an inviting display of baked goods, yes they're not baked in house but the selections are great - from lemon berries mascarpone cake to vegan cupcakes and chocolate mousse cake. Service was prompt, the HONEY DO LATTE was delicious with the right amount of espresso and honey, just the right wake me up at 7:30am before the drive back from Williamsburg!

I'd heard such good things about this coffeehouse and with the "breakfast" in my hotel severely lacking, I looked forward to heading to the shop to start my day. It's a cute typical shop with a good amount of seating both inside and outside. There are printed menus to pass down the line, specials written in chalk, and enticing pastries on display.Several of the offerings drew my attention (especially the longer I stood in line), but I was ready with my order when I reached the cashier: a brown sugar latte on ice, the gluten-free coffee cake on display, and the special grits topped with green onion, cheese, crumbled bacon, and a fried egg. The cashier was distracted and seemed to have a hard time hearing me--made evident when I did not actually receive the grits special, but it instead just plain grits with cheese. Tasty, but still disappointingly, not what I had really wanted. The coffee and cake were both delightful and sitting in the sun enjoying my food and book made it worth it.

Aromas Coffeehouse is a delightful little spot that offers a warm, inviting atmosphere, featuring excellent coffee and food. As soon as you step inside, you're enveloped in the intoxicating aroma of freshly brewed espresso. The decor has a quirky, eclectic vibe with mismatched furniture, brick walls, and local artwork adorning the space. It feels very homey and comfortable - the kind of place you could linger for hours over a good book or to get some work done. The mix of cozy couches and tables makes it easy to find the perfect nook.Of course, the coffee is the star of the show. They use premium beans sourced from around the world and roasted locally. Whether you go for a simple drip coffee, a velvety latte, or one of their creative house specials like the hazelnut white mocha, you can expect a delicious, high-quality brew. The staff are knowledgeable about their offerings and happy to make recommendations. The food menu features freshly baked pastries, sandwiches, salads and snacks that pair perfectly with the coffee. Some standout items are the flaky quiche, the hearty breakfast burritos, and the indulgent chocolate raspberry bread pudding. In addition to hot drinks, Aromas has a great selection of cold-pressed juices, smoothies, iced coffees and teas for the warmer months. While the vibe is relaxed, service can be a bit slow, during high summer season, due to the small size of the shop. However, that's a minor issue considering the charm and quality Aromas delivers.Whether you're a Williamsburg local or just visiting this historic, colonial town, this charming, cozy spot is well worth stopping into for a truly enjoyable coffee experience. Just ensure you leave plenty of time to savor the experience.

So you are exploring colonial Williamsburg. You're desperate for a coffee to help you keep up with your pack of kids, this is the spot. The shop has a quaint atmosphere that fits the atmosphere of colonial Williamsburg. They have house made treats and sandwiches to go along with your specialty coffee. This is the go to place for the William and Mary students as well as the tourists, so it gets busy. Fortunately the staff is tuned in and offer quick service to meet the crowds.
