Tried some new dishes with friends for restaurant week and decided to do an updated review! Restaurant week was a fabulous deal for 3 courses for $20! I was able to try the following appetizers: Goyza, spring rolls and crab Rangoon! All were excellent! I had the chicken pad ka pow and it was delicious. I felt it was a little salty and not just sure if my taste buds were off that day or what. I also tried my friends pork fried rice and it was very good too! I had the Thai iced tea and it was so good! I tried my friend's green matcha tea and it tasted just as good or even better! I will get that again! Service was extremely kind and efficient. It's not an overly large place but it feels comfortable inside with a mixture of booths and tables.

Back in May of last year, Sophia and I came here as part of Asian American Pacific Heritage Month where they offered a meal for just $5. They had recently opened up in the area so you know I had to check them out. As for the meal, it was pretty delicious and filling. Just last weekend, we stopped by for Newport News Restaurant Week. Would our 2nd go around end in good vibes like before? We were seated immediately upon entering, which wasn't packed at all. Within minutes, we were ready. For my whole meal, I had veggie spring rolls, Drunken chicken noodles, fried banana rolls w/caramel sauce and Thai Iced Tea. All of this was $20 and it was worth it. The spring rolls were full of veggies with sweet chili sauce to add some spice. It was my first time trying drunken noodles and won't be my last. I actually saved half for leftovers. The fried banana rolls with caramel....done perfectly. As always, Thai Iced Tea was good and not too sweet.A really good meal that left yours truly filled up for the afternoon. Just what the Doctor ordered. You know we'll be back. Till next time :)

This is our new favorite Thai restaurant on the Peninsula! We usually get takeout but have dined in once. Service is always prompt and friendly. Highlights on the menu are the flavorful Tom yum soup, the pad Thai, and the green curry, which is excellent. I recently tried the khaki soi which is a rich yellow curry soup with egg noodles. It was delicious, and I look forward to ordering it again! Most of the Thai items we've tried are worth reordering. The exception was the Aroi platter--while the green papaya salad was good, the beef was very tough and gristly, so would not order that item again. Similarly, the "Asian" items are underwhelming. The shrimp shumai tasted like a reheated frozen item, and the wonton soup was average. We'll definitely be back, and there remain a number of Thai dishes on the large menu which I look forward to trying.

This restaurant is a hidden GEM! Tucked away right off of Warwick Blvd in Newport News. It is a family restaurant with very unique and authentic Thai Food. I had a family recipe noodle dish with fantastic appetizers and amazing dessert! The Thai Coffee is truly Thai. Try the Khoa Soi! The Pumpkin Custard is amazing.

I'm sad just knowing I need to write this - because I had such great in-person experiences a year ago at this place, but I live much farther away now and don't get over to that side of town often. So, I've recently ordered take out several times hoping to recreate those early experiences - and it's just terrible. It's like the food somehow becomes awful in transport - poorly seasoned, overcooked in some instances, and once, I didn't even get my order! Between the owner and the delivery service, both just blamed each other and refused to issue a refund and/or replace my meal. I no longer use that delivery service, and I now will no longer order from this restaurant. I've found a couple other Thai delivery places in the area who have provided much better service and flavor. It's very disappointing, but I felt like it was important to note since rarely do my experiences with a restaurant differ so substantially between in-person and delivery experiences, especially post-Covid.

Great service, great food. My only complaint; and this seems to be across the board with Thai restaurants, is the portions sometimes don't match the price point. I got the khoa soi, flavor was great but it was mainly just sauce and noodles. I got it with beef and there were probably five peice of beef that were 1 square inch in size. If you get Thai food a lot then this shouldn't catch you by surprise but it's worth a try.

We've tried several Thai places in Newport News and this is our favorite. The food is fresh and oh so tasty. I have celiac disease, which means I have to follow a gluten free diet. The owner came over and answered my question confidently since it's her business. I felt perfectly fine after the meal. AND it was delicious!! Presentation was lovely. It doesn't look overly attractive when looking from Warwick, but believe me when I say it is pretty, comfortable, and peaceful inside. The people there including the owner are SO SWEET. The owner has always been at the door to greet me. She works hard and obviously gives care to her workers, food, and her customers. This small business deserves all the success. Super recommend!
