Service is good, food is fair - you pay for the view. This establishment is located in the VB Sheraton. If you are a guest as we were, the front desk might give you a 15% coupon when you check-in. The coupon is what pushed us to dine here. The place is pricey and not a casual type place, though we were served in our shorts and t-shirts. No casual dining area is available in the Sheraton (not a knock on Aqua Vi, however). The menu didn't have a lot of choices offered. I had steak, my wife had chicken, the kids had chicken strips. The kids' food arrived quickly, but ours took time to prepare. When it arrived, our food, at least mine, was cold. The flavors of the food were good but I didn't think it was worth the money, especially served cold. The service was adequate throughout - knowing how to be attentive but not bothersome. And for the view? You sit gazing upon the ocean from your table. Unless, of course, you're seated like I was, with my back to it.Bottom line: VB has a lot of choices for dining with a view. Check around reviews for other places before you settle for dinner here.

We dined there for breakfast only because it was included in with our room within the Sheraton. We were seated by the sweetest older lady, so we thought, oh this would be great. the waitress came, and asked us for drinks - which we told her... and then waited for our waitress to arrive.. and waited.. and waited.. without drinks mind you.. finally our waitress arrived, also without drinks again - and we gave her our order. It was breakfast, and the food took nearly a half hour - and we STILL didnt receive our drinks! So we had to remind the hostess (the sweet older lady - because our waitress was not in sight - its like she left in the kitchen to hang out with friends or something) and she brought it to us. Reminder we were almost the only ones in the restaurant, so the fact that she could be busy was not an excuse. Food came - not good. $4 for raisin bran cereal? - which by the way the waitress thought was bran flakes. pankcakes were dry... anyway, could have been a bad day for the service staff - but we didnt really walk away satisfied!

This is based on the bar only. I had a margarita that cost a little less than $9.00 but it was certainly worth every penny. It was by far the best margarita I have ever had. The bartender put like margarita mix, lemon, lime, orange juice (yes I mean oj), tequila of course and 3 other unknown to me forms of liquor. I usually do not rate bars as I don't drink much at all, but thought this was worth yelping for. Again, I can't speak for the food that Aqua Vi has as I have never eaten here.

Came in for breakfast. Over-priced with sub-par food and mediocre service. The only thing going for them was the view.

I attended a two day seminar at the hotel. Instead of walking the strip looking for lunch I just decided to eat at this restaurant. I was seated at a table facing the ocean. Very nice and peaceful. I ordered the petit hearts of romaine salad, on both days. I loved it. The presentation was nice. I did ask for extra dressing on my second visit. First day, I tried brown fried rice with vegetables. The rice could of used a little seasoning. But, it was fine. I just cut up the vegetables and mixed it all together (and added salt). Second day, I ordered the cheeseburger with french fries and I was very satisfied. Overall it was a nice place and I was happy with the food and service.

We ate dinner there on Sat Nov. 3rd 2007. Definitely overpriced. The salmon tasted good but I could not order a cesar salad instead of a regular salad. Our waiter was rushed and seemed annoyed with my request and we left unsatisfied and regretful at paying so much for such poor service. Also the whole place was empty. We should have known better.

We ate here twice in two days--both times for breakfast. I would have given it a three to four on day one but a zero on day two. Let me start with the good--it's reasonably priced at $13 and change for adults and $6 and change for kids for a small buffet that includes eggs, breakfast breads and meats, oatmeal, grits, cereals fruit and yogurt. Day One, it took nearly ten minutes to get seated--there was no hostess and a waiter sat us saying they were understaffed. More than half the tables in the place were empty, and given that it was a buffet, the staff I could see were more than sufficient. But the food was good and plentiful and, as I said, the cost was reasonable--and the view is great. On day two, the surly hostess seated us. We asked for juice for six and coffee for three and went to the buffet, which had no eggs, old clumpy oatmeal, one fruit cup, few breads/pastries and about three boxes of cereal left. When I told the server we needed eggs, cereal, fruit etc., I was told that the buffet was closing at 11am (this was 1045) and that's why there is nothing left. Seriously? Then don't seat us and charge us if you don't intend to feed us. They ventually rought eggs and cereal and acted as if it were a favor. No more fruit or breads. When I asked for butter (which they had had the previous day) rather than the fake spread, I was told they were out. Really? You have no butter in te resaurant. My husband asked for ketchup and was told they had to "go to the basement" to get it. They brought it about the time he had finished his meal. The server had brought two coffee cups and I got my cup only when I walked oveto the server's staging station and got one myself. We had only received two juices in spite of asking for six, and when I asked I was told that they had to prepare more because they had run out. Just a terrible experience, especially given that there were not four tables occupied when we arrived, and at least 5 servers at the restaurant, it was a stunning breakfast expereince. Wait in the long line at the Belveder next door--you'll get fed more quickly and with better service and prices.
