If you're looking for Thai food, this is the place to go!! The food is always delicious. The servers are fast, friendly, and so knowledgeable about the food and drinks they serve! The ambiance is also so cozy and inviting. Highly recommend!

Excellent food and service! The place is tidy, clean, and well-kept. Service is friendly and attentive.The menu has a large variety of options. It was hard to choose! I came here recently with a couple of friends. We shared three appetizers then ordered three entrees followed by dessert. Everything we chose was delicious! The prices were very reasonable and we didn't feel rushed to eat and then immediately leave. It wasn't overcrowded either so we were able to talk and actually hear one another. It was a very enjoyable meal. My friends and I have put Anya Thai Cuisine on our regular restaurant rotation so we will definitely be back and I'm already looking forward to it.

Ate here for the 2nd time and this time was dine on with a party of 4! Food was just as good as when I got to-go and maybe even better since it was hot and fresh right from the kitchen! This time I enjoyed the drunken noodles and they were delicious. Also a very generous serving! Others at the table enjoyed garlic beef, and pad thai. Service was great and our server was wonderful with asking anyone had food allergies and meeting our gluten sensitive guest know what she could order and be able to eat without worry! Inside the dining room is nicely decorated and there is a mixture of booths and tables. Great Thai restaurant on the peninsula!

Anya Thai Cuisine, the new kid on the 12,000 block of Warwick Boulevard, Newport News, has it going on! The space has a chill Asian vibe, broad authentic menu, warm and hospitable hosts and servers and can prepare your food as Thai Spicy as you like it. We stopped in last Friday night for a family feast. Anya checked off all the boxes:1. We shared Summer Rolls (4 per order). They were soft wrapped with fresh shrimp, cabbage and pork, with house made peanut dipping sauce. Excellent.2. We next split two bowls of Tom Kha Soup with four flat bottom spoons. The coconut milk, veggies, mushroom, langyel spice and chicken were likewise a taste sensation. Both were terrific appetizers. 3. As was the Thai Calamari with sweet/sour dipper. Crunchy with mild chew from beginning to end. We then went our separate ways with individual entrees. My Drunken Noodles (Thai Spicy) were delicious, and the lemongrass made my nose run as expected. So too, the Pad See Ew, which while the heat profile was tame, still captured the taste buds without remorse. The Best Ginger Stir Fry was a near revelation to my sister, who sucked it down without offering a taste to anyone. All she could say was, "I didn't know ginger was so amazing." She repeated this chant into the next morning. The Garlic Stir fry caused a similar reaction from my spouse, who at least let me sample from her bowl. I concurred. Even the small candy that accompanied the check was so remarkable that we returned the next day to ask where they had purchased this coffee jujube so we could buy some. Anya was pleasantly surprised by our appearance, and was able to advise where she found them. We ended up buying out the entire supply at Farm Fresh International Market. That doesn't happen every day!

Awesome food!! I enjoyed every bite! There's an appetizer that's called money bags, let me tell you it was AMAZING, the sauce with it just makes all the flavors just pop!! I had the Anya yum noodles, again HOME RUN!!! My hubby had the crab fried rice, it had real crab!! Service was on point! Absolutely wonderful, attentive just perfect! DINNER WAS WORTH EVERY DIME!!!

Spectacular Thai cuisine. Don't rob yourself by NOT eating here. Phenomenal date spot, extremely family friendly and very well appointed. The chicken satay is tender and delicious, subtly seasoned and the peanut sauce with cucumbers salad is wonderful.My main course was ginger stir fry with shrimp and I requested tofu as well. A M A Z I N G. The jasmine tea is perfectly strong and smooth. EAT HERE!

Wish I had liked this place more than what the reviews indicated. The service was great. The ambiance was serene and calming, great to enjoy meals with friends. When you enter the restaurant, the hostess is there ready to greet you with a wonderful smile. The foyer is inviting with it is plants, hydrangeas, etc. As you enter the dining area, you can't help but notice a bar that isn't used for anything but as condiments station. Hoping they'll replace that bar to accommodate more tables or booths.But we were here for the food. It was a Saturday, a day you'd expect all their menu items should be available so you can enjoy. They were out of duck and pork belly, the 2 most liked by us patrons who associate Thai dishes with. I ordered Panang Curry. It was served very plainly. The rice tasted several days old, possibly not washed thoroughly but it wasn't fluffy nor fragrant. There wasn't good proportion of chicken to vegetables. It was alright.

Delicious fresh Thai food in a cute cafe setting. Anya Thai is not the restaurant you would expect it to be from its outside appearance, but it is definitely worth the visit!We ordered the spring rolls and Anya dumplings as an appetizer. The spring rolls were fresh and crunchy. The Anya dumplings were savory and deliciously spicy. The sauce they came in was so good, I had to try a few spoonfuls by itself! For a main dish I ordered the pineapple fried rice. Everything was fresh and hot. My wife ordered pad Thai. Our server gave her the option to add her own heat, and brought out a tray with sauces and copped Thai chilies. The portions were just enough to satisfy, without making us feel stuffed.Service was warm and inviting. We didn't have to wait long. Our server was prompt and polite. She did a great job making sure all our needs were met.The dining area was clean and cozy. They had some nice jazz playing over the speakers that set a great mood. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Best Thai we've had in a while. We will definitely be coming back to Anya Thai!

Anya Thai lived up to the hype and the 4.9 rating in Yelp. The ambiance is romantic. They have fresh flowers on every table. The decorations were on point. The service is top notch too. Our server was very attentive and came to check on us several times. The foods we ordered were so authentic. Same taste like when we traveled to Thailand. First was the Papaya salad. Tasted so fresh with the right balance of sweet and sour. Pad thai was so delicious. Not too sweet like other thai restaurants. Their chicken satay peanut sauce was house made for sure. Soooo good. We also enjoyed the beef green curry and the Anya siomai. The sticky mango rice was the perfect dessert to complete our 5 star experience. Our server even gave us a free thai tea refill (i think she saw how my son enjoyed it up to the last sip). Can't wait to go back to try the other items on the menu!

We had an absolutely wonderful dinner here, on a Saturday night!Got a table immediately, order taken by a patient young lady, food was delicious and I'd go back in a heartbeat. The small staff hustled to keep everything on track.
