Anna's Italian Pizza

Family owned business (Poquoson location is family as well) real Italians/Sicilians, and good food! Idk if any cares but the Obama's have eaten here after they left an engagement at Langley Air Force Base. Try it for yourself but this is my favorite Italian place!! Go support local, family owned business!!

I'm assuming it's the pizza that keeps them in business. I ordered the baked ziti which wasn't baked at all, pasta was very tough, and the meat sauce tasted like bleached dish water. The cheese was just 2 slices that wasn't fully melted. Sweet tea has 0 sugarGarlic knots were hard and old but the Garlic sauce was pretty good

I've had Anna's Pizza take out quite a few times. I've ordered ahead, picked it up and it's still hot and delicious when we get home. So we thought we'd try eating in for a change.I opted for the Saturday dinner special which consisted of a salad and cannelloni, plus a drink. We eagerly awaited the appetizers our group ordered. The calamari were just ok. A bit chewy and a little greasy, nothing special, but definitely edible. Same for the mozzarella sticks. The classic 'Anna' salad was served. A choice of dressings were given at the start, and our server also informed us that bread comes with the special too. The salad was pretty basic and a slight disappointment in my personal opinion, but I still ate it all. I was hoping for more than one slice of salami and one slice of cheese. The cannelloni however, did not disappoint. It didn't look too appealing at first, but it was piping hot, the pasta tubes were stuffed to the brim, and they were generous on the cheese. My friends ordered the subs and really enjoyed them, whilst hubby ordered the Stromboli - serious food envy. It tasted great!!!Overall, nothing to sing and dance about, but nothing to keep me away for good either. I'll continue to get take out from here for sure, but the wait dining in was very long that evening and it wasn't at full capacity.

Always good food. My pizza was hot and fresh, baked just right. Good ingredients, no heartburn.

Best wings and Fries per my family. I enjoy the pizza, pasta and most anything they serve. Friendly staff!

We have been going to Anna's for about two years being. This is our favorite pizza spot. We always order the fire pizza and it is one of their speciality pizzas but the best one on the menu if you like some kick. It is true to its name and has all the spice you will need. We also love their calamari, it is always fresh and crispy. They also have some amazing bacon and cheese fries!

Every peninsula MVP knows this particular Anna's is the only restaurant of this namesake that matters. Resume includes being family owned for over half a century, feeding U.S. presidents, and never changing their quality and proprietary dining room mural.

Have been many times and last night was our last for both the Armstead and Poquoson locations. The just dont care. Our calamara were cooked so hard and tasted fishy. Our pizza was just so so. Their salads are just cut up lettuce for subs. Hard to fork. Their salad dressing is so lame. Use a quality Olive Oil and vinegar or offer a good Balsamic. The dining room is sooooo boring. No atmosphere.

The food is usually really good but the last time I went to pick up to-go I noticed a kitchen worker putting pasta into bowls with his bare hands. Made me lose my appetite and we won't be coming back after that.

Food is always excellent. Service is great. Pricing is good too. Highly recommend. Convenient for Langley AFB personnel. Wonderful lunch and dinner spot.
