Me and my buddy have come here atleast once a week (closer to 3 times a week). It probably one of the best Thai food places around. We've gotten almost everything in the menu but why far the best meal would be the 51.Pla Lad Prik. Sweet and savory with a crunchy and tender fish. 21.Khao Soi Beef is too die for as well. 45.Pad Thai is always hits the spot whenever I crave it and the Thai Pink Milk on top of all this food makes the trips here well worth it.The owner is just the friendliest and sweetest women. she's makes the food all by herself to ensure it's done properly. She operates with 6 stoves to maximize her cooking ability. She's really dedicated to this restaurant and really show how much she cares.

Annie and her husband are so hospitable. She is so sweet, humble and grateful for your patronage. The food is amazing. I had delicious coconut soup with Shrimp. I had it before and I will have it again. I had pineapple fried rice with shrimp that was delivered in a fresh pineapple and I had to bring some home. My husband loved his appetizer and his pad Thai. I recommend it to everyone. It's a new business and I love to support a new business especially one with delicious food. Jodi and Steven

This is a very new establishment that has opened in the Wards corner location. They are very friendly and very good at customer service. They do provide dine in as well. Two and four seat tables. Soft music and smooth lightning inside. The food has yet to disappoint me, and this makes a few times for me returning. I have yet to try the food tonight, so I will be back with an update. PS always tip during the holiday season.

After three visits, and only being open for a little less than three weeks, I am now ready to make a call. This is the best Thai restaurant within the city limits of Norfolk, Virginia.Ann Thai Cuisine opened on November 3rd in Norfolk's historic Wards Corner Shopping Center, which was once hailed as "The Times Square Of The South" after World War 2.The previous occupant of its building space was Tokyo Express, which closed earlier this year. It is stationed to the immediate right of Kin's Wok 2 and in the same section of the shopping complex where Headlights is located just a few doors away. If you know, you know.It is owned and operated by a super friendly Thai couple, and their daughter comes in to help out when available. The wife is the Chef and exudes a great deal of passion for her cooking.A friendly greeting awaits you as you enter. Their counter is at the front to the left, and their dining tables are located in a corridor row to the right that runs from the front to the back. After my three visits, I have tried the following so far.THAI ICED TEA: Their version was initially a bit too sweet for my tastes, and had a bit too much ice for me as well. Once the ice settled down, its sweetness began to mellow and the flavors of the tea came through nicely. My Rating: 4 Stars.THAT PINK MILK: Also known as Nom Yen, this is a classic sweet iced beverage from Thailand. It is made from a fusion of Milk and Sala Syrup, made from the Salak Fruit, which provides its distinctive pink color. Their version was incredibly refreshing and delicious. Its level of ice and sweetness was just right for me from start to finish. My Rating: 5 Stars.PRIK NAM PLA: This is not on the menu, as it is a Thai condiment that consists of Thai Chilies, Fish Sauce, Lime Juice, Garlic, and Shallots. Their Chef seemed surprised that I knew what it was and whipped me up an excellent version to help spice up my food. I even asked for more. My Rating: 5 Stars.DRUNKEN NOODLES: Large Rice Noodles Stir-Fried with Tomato, Broccoli, Carrot, Bell Pepper, Garlic, Onion, and Thai Basil. This dish was listed under the Noodles section of their menu with your choice of protein, and mine was Chicken. This dish also goes by the name of Pad Kee Mao and is believed to have originated from the Central Plains region of Thailand. My portion size was abundantly filling and flavorful as well. The wide rice noodles delivered a fresh and chewy taste and texture. My only wish is that it came with Chinese Broccoli (Gai Lan) instead of western style Broccoli. Chinese Broccoli is used in the traditional Thai recipes for this and other Thai Noodle dishes such as Lad Na and Pad See Ew. The flavors of the other ingredients came through well. My Rating: 4 Stars.KHAO MUN GAI: Steamed Chicken with Ginger, Rice, Cilantro, Cucumber, Soup, and Ginger Sauce. This one was listed under the Main Dishes section of their menu.Khao Mun Gai is the Thai version of Hainanese Chicken & Rice, which is a popular dish throughout all of Southeast Asia. The version I had here hit all the right notes and compared favorably to others I've enjoyed elsewhere. The steamed chicken was delightfully moist and tender, and the flavors of the other ingredients came together beautifully, My Rating: 5 Stars.KHAO SOI CHICKEN: A Famous Northern Thai Coconut Curry Dish with Chicken Thigh, Egg Noodles, Pickled Mustard, Red Onion, Lettuce, Fried Chilies, and Crispy Egg Noodles. This dish was listed under the Noodle Soups section of their menu. This was one of the best versions of this dish I have enjoyed anywhere. The Chicken Thigh meat was melt in your mouth tender, and the Coconut Curry broth was delightfully rich and thick with an incredible depth of flavor: My Rating: 5 Stars.TARO PEARLS: This was a Dessert dish I enjoyed during my last visit. It consisted of Taro Chunks in a bowl of steamed and delightfully sweet Coconut Milk. It was rich and delicious. My Rating: 5 Stars. The service I have received has been friendly and exceptionally accommodating with each of my visits. Their owners bend over backwards to please with a tremendous amount of enthusiasm. The main thing on my wish list is that they will eventually find a source for Chinese Broccoli (Gai Lan) for their Lad Na, Pad See Ew, and Drunken Noodles, as used in the traditional Thai recipes for these dishes. Otherwise, and in the meantime, this new Thai restaurant is off to an outstanding start. Their composite food score and outstanding service combined together to round up easily to my 5-star rating.I am looking forward to my future visits and enjoying some more of their Thai delicacies and friendly hospitality.NOTE: All of my photos have not yet attached themselves to my review. However, they did manage to attach themselves to the Main Photos page of this business.

Ann Thai Cuisine is the new hot spot thai restaurant to go to. The owners there are very sweet. They saw us loving thai tea and gave us extra glass of thai tea for free. Their daughter is the waitress and is very sweet as well. All my friends had a high review of their dishes. I had the tom yum. It was very delicious and flavorful and the amount was a lot. All the dishes had a lot more amount of food than an average thai restaurant, which we really appreciated. My friend who had the green curry said it was a little more spicy than she thought it was, but it was worth finishing. Make sure you ask about the spice levels there because they will assume your spice tolerance to be a little bit high. It was a very nice experience and I will definitely come here again. They have their own parking with the rest of the shops in the strip. It is definitely worth dining here.

A delightful, family-owned Thai restaurant with authentic, scrumptious cuisine that reminds me of my childhood. The service is always accompanied by a friendly smile. The prices are reasonable and the food worth it. I highly recommend you visit Ann's Thai Cuisine, you will not regret it.

I stopped here based on a 757Foodie post on Facebook. I ordered mixed vegetable pad Thai and money bags. The food was amazing. I will be honest I don't order pad Thai on a regular and haven't had it in a long time and when I've had it in the past, it was shrimp not veggie. I feel like a remember nuts and stuff on top. This was very flavorful, and not dry at all. I liked that it didn't have nuts on top. But the money bags is where it's at! Those were the best!! Glass noodles inside crispy deliciousness I highly recommend checking it out!!
