My friend was visiting out of town and craving Italian food, so we looked on Yelp and found Andiamo Ristorante & Pizza Napoletana. I'd been to this shopping center many times, but never noticed this restaurant! I typically go for eggplant parmesan when I go to Italian restaurants, but I saw they had a dish called Eggplant Rollatini and switched it up. Great decision, because it was soooo good. My husband got the Linguine alla Giovanni, which I will get the next time I come.Overall, the cozy ambiance, attentive staff, and extensive menu make Andiamo a must-visit. I'll definitely be back!

Our new favorite Italian place! We've never been before because the parking in that little strip mall area can get pretty jammed, and they don't take reservations. Sad face. Totally authentic and delicious, and we will be back!

I was pretty excited to try this restaurant in the neighborhood but man I got disappointed. I don't mind paying more money for a good dine in experience. We ordered some appetizers, seafood pasta and chicken pasta dishes. The pizza's marinara sauce was bland. The pasta sauces had literally no flavor and tasted bitter. Please improve your recipes, when you charge $30 for a simple pasta dish make sure the quality matches that.

This place had been on my "Places to visit" list for awhile so I was pretty excited to go. Which makes the disappointment that much harder. This place was not good at all. I ordered a Aperol spritz, and it was very weak and I could hardly taste the Aperol. The calamari was probably the star of the show, but not enough for me to give it more than a two star rating . I ordered the shrimp and Gorgonzola pasta, I tasted absolutely no Gorgonzola in this pasta. The sauce was bland. I spent close to 100 bucks at this place and left wishing I had just gone to the Olive Garden.

i've been here several times, very nice place. But it is pretty darn expensive. I mean I'm not a cheapskate but I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and a draft beer and it was $40 with a 20% tip. The food is very good but $34 for three meatballs and a plate of spaghetti is a little high for chesapeake jmo.

We were looking for an Italian restaurant that wasn't a chain and found this restaurant on Yelp and it did not disappoint.Service was stellar. Staff was attentive and kept our drink refills coming without asking. (It was a hot day and the thirst was real)The appetizer was the garlic bread, it came out fast and hot with Marinara dipping sauce which the kids loved. The main courses were not just visibly pleasing, but the taste was beyond delicious and blew us away! Thank you to our great waitstaff (I forgot her name) but she was amazing. We will be returning.

I had dinner with my friend here tonight and it was a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and helpful with sharing details about the menu items. There is plenty of seating and the bar area is huge. I ordered the Penne alla Vodka and it was tasty. I liked the tender chicken in it and the creamy sauce. Parking was crowded, but that's because there are so many great restaurants in that area, practically all next to each other, so it's understandable. I look forward to visiting Andiamo again, and trying some more options on the menu.

I was super excited to come here and try their food. When we got here, it was dark and kind of hard to see. Not very busy at all for dinner at 6:30. Our server was fine, but we felt rushed. She had already given us a box for our focaccia before our food had even come out. We ordered a focaccia (not much flavor to it and pretty dense), a burrata (came with tomatoes, olives, and bread). The bread was delicious, but the way it was all presented was difficult to eat. My boyfriend had the eggplant parmigiana. It tasted burnt and had an odd texture to it. We won't be getting that again. I ordered the Linguine alla Giovanni. It was supposed to have prosciutto in it, but it was extremely scarce. We had a profiterole for dessert, which was good but nothing exciting. Overall, I don't think we'll be back. For the quality of the food, I don't think it measured up to the price.

To start I was very excited to try this restaurant. I had heard great things and we wanted to find an Italian restaurant whos food rivaled Aldo's ristorante in Virginia Beach and this was about the same price. The drinks here were great, for food was okay we got three different entrees and they were all about the same level of taste in our eyes 6/10, nothing fantastic. But the thing that killed my experience at this restaurant was our server. I specifically called the restaurant back to get her name. Kat was our server who in tonight's dining had two clips in her hair wearing it up with glasses. She did the minimum as a server, she brought us our food. She did not introduce herself, introduce the restaurant (we were first timers.) offer us any form of specials, or even make any form of effort to talk to us. she forgot my one request outside of entrees and drinks which was a extra side of sauce. To make everything much more annoying, I let her know it was our 12 year olds birthday as she served the food (because she hasn't talked to us all dinner) and as she was running away she said "happy birthday" walking in the other direction. The entire time we listened to the other servers giving tables incredible service and all we thought was why didn't we get any of them as our server instead. At the end of our meal another server who had tattoos on her arms asked if we needed a bag for our Togo food and assisted us with putting it away. In the 30 seconds of her being at our table she gave us a more enjoyable experience then Kat did our entire dinner course. Servers typically add to dinner experiences especially at a Medium price point like this restaurant is at. Our server made our experience much worse and I hope for the restaurants sake that she is a brand new server so they can train her to have better customer service. If she is an established server then Andiamos is getting ripped off by there employe. Kat I really hope the owner sees this so that future customers have a better experience then we did.
