There has not been one Indo Chinese spot near me that matches the food here. I had chili momos and hakka noodles..for three days straight while in Virginia..from our first day to our last day. Highly recommend, this place is perfect and the service was above and beyond.

Two weekends ago, Sophia and I headed here for lunch. We decided to stay in the Peninsula due to other stuff she had planned in the morning. During our visits here, we've hardly had any issues with meals we ordered. Shall we get into the details?Foot traffic was minimal when we arrived and were seated immediately. We were served water and their homemade chai tea. The vibe was welcoming with soft music playing in the background. After a few minutes, we were ready to order. I selected their chicken schezwan hakka noodle dish along with garlic naan bread to share with Sophia. The noodle dish was very good. I chose the mild spice and it was just right. There was so much served it took me three meals to finish the whole plate. Unfortunately, the garlic naan was underwhelming. When we received the order, it was hard to chew and the garlic taste wasn't strong. Usually, naan is soft when served, but not this time. Despite the naan disappointment, both of us walked away full. A dish like this I could order again the next time we stop by. Till next time :)

YUM! Everything was great from service to food to the restaurant decor! We arrived for an early dinner and were seated promptly. Our waiter grabbed us each a bottle of water, and we also received a complementary cup of mint tea. Very good! Food wise we ordered the onion paroka, samosa, garlic naan, and butter chicken. All the food was fresh and plentiful. I loved the onion paroka and the batter was nice and light. The garlic naan was some of the best I have had, and the butter chicken had a great flavor! Service was excellent and the restaurant is not overly large, but it has sone nice decor inside. Can't wait to go back for amazing Indian food!

A hidden gem for Indian cuisine! I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality and generous portions of the food. The ambiance does not stand out but the food does. Every dish was flavorful and fresh, with the chai masala standing out as particularly delightful. It's a great spot to satisfy a craving for authentic Indian flavors with great service. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area

Amirtha Curry & Bar is an excellent eatery. Their food selection has a wide variety of options for many different palates. They have an Indian coffee with milk and ginger that's really good. We tried the spicy lamb and rice. Very tasty, good quality and well prepared. Just the right level of spice. For my taste, I would prefer to add olive oil to make it more wet, but it was very good as it was made and plated. Customer service is solid. The one person handling tables can get busy of the tables are full and there's a line for take out as well. Outside of this, service is timely and polite. Atmosphere is basic. Handful of tables with Indian decor. Nothing special and nothing out of place. Usually has Indian music videos playing on TV. Overall, Amirtha is a solid recommend for Indian restaurant experience.

This food was amazing! We came late on a Sunday night. Most things are closed after 10pm especially Indian restaurants. So thankful to not have to get fast food but to have a flavorful quality meal. I will be back!!! The server seemed to b alone and whipped up all the deliciousness himself. Nite comfortable place. DoorDash and Ubereats accessible

We were visiting the area for the weekend and found this restaurant on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Everything we had was delicious! The flavors were amazing and service was great. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

The portions were very generous especially the biryani rice. We got spice level of 1 and our mouths were burning but it was so good! The saag curry was my favorite!! So much flavor! I cannot wait to go back and try other stuff on the menu. The prices were reasonable and we had enough for leftovers to take home.

We used to like this place because certain items on their menu were made well and had flavor. Sadly, lately their meals are very oily. Wait times are very long, they don't manage their online orders at all. The service is just been a sore experience last few times we have gone here. The quantity and price is not the best but alright I guess. Rethinking taking our business here again.
