Loved working with Sally for our rental sofas. She was patient and kind, as well as informative as my two young kids climbed atop all their showroom furniture. Then when I called back 2 months later to purchase, we were and to Pick right up where we left off. We enjoyed working with them and will return again!

We ordered living room furniture from Ambrose. The set is very nice. When they delivered it, part of the order was missing. They did deliver the remaining pieces that day. Fast forward 1 year..the chairs had a warranty, and one arm is loose. I call and no one calls me back. So my husband and I drive over. We speak to the sales staff and they take the info and the picture telling me they will work it. Fast forward 1 1/2 months, I send an email after the holidays. They did NOTHING since our trip to see them. I had to re-explain the issue. My husband didn't think they would do anything originally but I had some faith. Silly me. I am thinking twice about ordering again if this is their customer service. I will call the other sale person and explain my concerns about a new order. And I will update this after I see some resolution.

Awesome Staff! Went to about 4 other places within the same area and this place not only had what we were looking for but also the most reasonable prices! They shipped the next day and the delivery guys were great also!

Over the past 13 years I've trusted Ambrose Furniture to provide quality products and exceptional service when furnishing vacation properties and my own residence. I'm always impressed by their customer care which starts the minute you arrive in their showroom and endures until the last piece of furniture is delivered. Once you've experienced the high level of service at Ambrose you understand how this family run organization continues to thrive after 50 years in business.

We were in need of a dresser, just the right size. Not too long, too short or too high ~ and we found it at Ambrose. The ordering on the phone after seeing it in person with Todd Dozier was a breeze! We arranged delivery and the two delivery fellows carried this heavy well constructed dresser to where we needed it. I'm hoping to add a comfy chair to this new primary suite and will certainly check out what Ambrose has to offer.

We first met Barry Ambrose in 1997 when we were building our first house in Corolla Light. Both our realtor and our builder -- independently --suggested Ambrose Furniture as the best source for our furniture. He helped us furnish our 6-bedroom home in a way that remained fresh and current til the day we sold it in October 2018. How often can you say THAT about furnishings? In 2001 we bought ANOTHER beach house in Corolla Light -- this one to rent out. Barry again helped us replace key pieces of furniture to update the look and have it stand out from the other rental houses. He suggested fabrics that would stand up to the wear and tear of weekly rentals. And they did, saving us money and keeping the house looking fresh.Last year Barry helped us furnish the house we built for our retirement when we tore down the rental house. He has an uncanny knack for asking what we want, having us give a semi-coherent explanation, and then showing us furniture and fabrics that are even BETTER than what we imagined. When we walked into our new home last December and saw the furniture in place, we were speechless. Literally!And besides having amazing taste, Barry is the friendliest, most responsive, most honest person with whom to deal. Meetings that we would thought would take the entire day managed to be completed in a couple of hours. That's how efficient Barry is. He knows his stock -- and the showroom is full of amazing ideas and samples. We can't say enough great things about him. I know that in order to make a review believable you're supposed to point out a failing. Sorry -- we can't think of one, except perhaps that they don't have a showroom in the Washington, DC, area! Does that count? We certainly got stupendous advice from our realtor and builder way back in 1997.

We have been using Ambrose Furniture as our "go to" furnishings partner for over 20 years. We have had several rental properties on the Outer Banks since the '80s. Ambrose helped us furnish an entire new ocean front rental property in Pine Island twenty years ago. They are wonderful and always go beyond expectations. As long-distance property owners we have experienced many frustrations over the years when trying to maintain our properties. Things don't happen on time. They don't happen as promised. They cost more than the estimate. We get the run-around. Phone calls don't get answered. And on and on. This has NEVER happened with Ambrose Furniture! No issue is too small for them to help. We trust them to get it right the first time, and every time. If they don't perform a service we need, they give us a recommendation in the community.They have a great selection and competitive pricing but it is their service which truly sets them apart from the competition. We would never consider purchasing furniture anywhere else.
