Massive first drop, really great layout and theming, and the operations are also pretty good from my experience. I'm used to Afterburn at my home park, Carowinds, which is a better ride, but that doesn't mean this is bad. The main flaws with it all stem from the mid course brakerun that slows you down to a crawl, making the second half a lot slower. Still a quality ride that people should do when they go here

I definitely forgot how good this ride was! Going in I was thinking "this ride is super head-bangy and not too fun." I was totally wrong. So many twists and turns and it moves so fast! Don't skip it if you're at BG!

This was a welcomed stop after walking so much in the park. My feet were extremely tired after a lap or two around the park. If I remember correctly the entrance was kind of tucked away in a corner or of the main path.I don't remember much about this ride except for the fact that it was an inverted rollercoaster. Meaning that my tired feet could dangle as I rode the ride and would not have to brace with my feet. If I could have, I would have rode this ride over and over again. The breeze and being off my feet was well received.I'm not sure what it is about the coloring of the coaster, but to me, it felt off. Instead of conveying to me that this was to be a snow/mountain themed coaster, I first thought it was a water themed coaster.Whatever, it is what it is. I was able to have a great ride and rest my feet a bit. Even if it was for a minimal time.

Alpengeist is easily my favorite ride at Busch Gardens. It's fun, very fast and most importantly for me, it has a pretty smooth ride. There's turns, barrel rolls and loops but there's no sharp turns that could potentially give me lower back and neck pain. Other rides at the park, like Loch Ness and Verbolten, the latter, with some really fast sharp turns. Definitely one of the best inverted roller coaster experiences!

My favorite ride at Busch Gardens. It is for sure a thrill! It goes so fast that sometimes I miss something on the ride. I feel pretty secure in my seat and safety set up. That helps me enjoy the ride a little better. This is also a great ride to hit up in the evening time. The line is pretty much in the shade to. So waiting in line there is not too bad. The area where the entrance and exit to the ride can be a little crowded. There is also lockers for $8 for 3 hours just outside the entrance to the ride. They are really cracking down on bags on rides... all bags.
