Great location in the shopping center with wings and waveriders (fabulous place). We got a chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting it was very very good! Cake was moist and not too over powering. The frosting was delicious. Decorated nicely, good value, and excellent quality. Order ahead for your next event!

New location will be wonderful when completely finished but that doesn't stop the goodies from being terrific. Bought a little bit of everything- brownies gooey and unique with Oreos crushed within. Very tasty! Banana pudding square, if your a sucker for this, like I am, it's not to be missed. Apple fritters, very very tasty, with just the right amount of apple, frosting, and crunchiness. Got two muffins, haven't tried them yet, but they sure look good . And finally, a "waffle cone" of cheesecake filling lined with chocolate. Yeah, I know as crazy as it sounds it is wonderful. Kudos to the owner, she was extremely helpful and polite and I wish her the best. It sounds like her custom cake business is in full gear too.

Imagine a birthday emergency 5 hours away from home. I call Melinda on a Wednesday afternoon, gave her a cake flavor, size and theme and she created a masterpiece. My daughter couldn't have been more surprised or happy when she tasted the moist deliciousness. The butter cream had the perfect amount of sweetness and was super silky smooth. If you're ever in the OBX I suggest you give a try. You won't be disappointed.

Full of goodies. Lemon bars, brownies, French horns, carrot cake cookie and much more. Will close early if sold out or tending a wedding.

My initial contact was over the telephone. Chloe was helpful and kind and was able to give me an idea of what I wanted. I ordered birthday cakes and they were beautifully decorated and tasted delicious! Almost Heaven Bakery has won my heart!

The cinnamon buns and muffins are delicious. We can't wait to go back and get more. Hope they do well in there new location!

My adult children were looking for a cake for a surprise 30th wedding anniversary for us recently. They called several bakeries who were booked and could not take an order. Almost Heaven Bakery took the order for the party which was on a Tuesday night. When they drove an hour to pick up the cake, they discovered that the bakery was closed. They called the owner and she confirmed that they were closed but that they had come in to meet them to pick up the cake. The cake was beautiful and tasted incredible. When we need a quality cake with excellent service, I will make a point of going to Almost Heaven Bakery.
