Such an amazing experience! Gifted my friend the "Throw yourself into pottery" class for Christmas. We thought the snow might've postponed but everything worked out. There were 9 of us in this session with room for 10. Everyone had their own wheel, apron, and 3 balls of clay. Angela was very inspirational. She shared her background story for us and I love that the number one rule is to not stress. When making pottery, it is your one and only focus or else your pottery will show and boy was that the truth. It was a great experience to just focus on being in the present. She took us through all the steps and I was a bit nervous I would forget them but she was hands on as needed and even had instructions on the board of each step. One practice round and two pieces to take home, I can't wait to see and use our finished products!

All Hands is the perfect choice for anyone with an interest in pottery. The studio is well-equipped with many wheels, a slab roller, an extruder, several kilns, plenty of work tables, studio glazes, and countless tools, stamps, forms, etc., virtually everything you need for your project. They offer reasonable open studio times, studio memberships, and special events. They have low commitment single lessons for people who aren't sure about pottery, and longer 6 week classes to learn and build skills. They sell pottery supplies like clay and glaze and they rent pottery wheels that you can use at home. The staff is friendly and helpful, the instructors are accomplished and knowledgeable, and the community is welcoming and supportive.

This place was referred by a friend and I am excited I made it to the pottery class! I had such a wonderful experience and I learned more in one day than a six week course I took some years ago at a different place. The staff is amazing and friendly, what a wonderful environment. I look forward to take more classes there.

Had fun at first, and some of the staff is helpful, but they can be rude or condescending if you don't really know what you're doing. I don't want to spend a bunch of money on taking a class, I just wanted to have fun making whatever, and they said my item had a "weak design and construction." I'm new! There's a nicer way to say something like that. Not coming back, unfortunately.

I'm so glad this studio is around! I've taken classes in the past and enjoyed them. Currently I make clay things in my garage and take them to all hands for firing. Very reasonable rates.

Angela was such a warm and welcoming instructor. Great blend of funny/relaxed and informative. I took the intro class (throw yourself into pottery). I would wholeheartedly recommend this studio and instructor to anyone interested in trying their hand at the basics of pottery.

This was such a fun date night for my husband and me. We have two little ones, so when we get a chance to get out on our own we like to try new things, and this was perfect! Angela was such a great teacher! Her style and language were perfect for beginners like us. And her story of how she got there is truly inspirational! While my husband and I likely won't be selling our crafts anytime soon, it's still fun to be able to walk away (or rather pick up later) with a few of our own hand made pieces. Also, in this weird COVID time we felt super safe in the studio. The wheels were far enough apart from each other and the expectation to wear a mask while inside and working was made very clear, yet respectfully. They even offered masks in case you don't have your own, or if yours got too hot.
